Story
Captain is a 70 pound male pit bull. My daughter adopted him from another family. He has some behavioral issues but I feel with an experienced dog owner who is willing to work with him can train him properly. He is basically a good dog he just needs proper training. He is about 10 years old. He is grey and white. I don’t know how to put his picture on this application. Please call me or text me or email me with any questions.

Story
Dulce is a very friendly and fun-loving gal. She is extremely social with all people and all animals, but she really lights up when there are kids around. She can be a bit too in your face at times.... but she's still young and inquisitive. She is learning boundaries along with tons of other commands since she's a very smart cookie. And even though her videos show her happy, active side she definitely knows how to chill out and cuddle.

I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to schedule a time to meet with me, please contact my foster parent at aallshouse72@gmail.com. Hi! My name is GALA, that’s G as in glamorous, A for affectionate, L like loving, and A for how adoptable I am!I am obsessed with my stuffed animals. I will always be down to show anyone and everyone alllll my toys. But I can also read the room and lay in bed with you for hours if that’s the vibe.Speaking of, I really don’t mind being left home alone for a work day. Honestly, chilling by myself is soooo much better than being in that awful shelter. I’m happy to just curl up on the couch for hours or keep myself busy with some of my favorite toys. I guess you could say I prefer the indoors. Don’t get me wrong, I love a hike! But maybe it’s just these city sidewalks that never seem better than my big comfy couch. Some might say I`m a little food motivated...but what`s wrong with a nice snack?! I`ve been really enjoying all the treats I get for working on `Down,` `Wait,` and `Drop it.`Not to brag, but I also take baths like a champ. Don`t get me wrong, we all have things to work on, but I`m a pretty great friend. I just usually prefer my friends to take human form instead of canine. I know things are super competitive these days trying to just get an interview, but I pinky puppy promise to be a massive asset in your life! Ask me anything and let’s get to know each other!

Story
Dog Friendly! This sweetheart of a dog is approximately 3 years old and weighs in at a petite 40ish pounds. Surrendered by her family when they could no longer care for her, Goldie found herself in several short-term living situations before catching the eye of an experienced foster parent affiliated with Tara’s House. Smitten by her sweet looks and reputation for being very dog-friendly, the foster agreed to add her to her pack. But first, Goldie is making a pit-stop with the amazing trainers of Ridgeside K-9 Central MD where she will learn how to contain her enthusiasm and excitement when over-stimulated. Goldie is initially a little reserved with new people, but has shown repeatedly that once you gain her trust she will adore you with abandon. She loves to play with toys and other dogs, and can settle herself when it’s time for a rest. She does well on a leash and is very eager to learn - especially if you reward her with treats!  Goldie is at the age where she’s well beyond the crazy puppy years, but has a long way to go before she’s in her golden years. She is a young dog that’s full of life and love. She is gentle, affectionate, pretty and polite. She would be a wonderful family dog and would fit in well in most households. She does well with other dogs, but cats are an unknown (she may do just fine with them!)  Goldie’s adoption donation fee is $400, which includes spay, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for Goldie by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.May 1, 2025, 11:49 am

Story
* Special Needs Pup* Meet Boo, an adorable 10-month-old Terrier/Boxer mix who is eagerly searching for his forever home! 😍With a sweet and funny personality, Boo is sure to bring endless joy and laughter into your life. Although Boo is deaf, this does not dampen his vibrant spirit; in fact, it only adds to his charm and resilience. He approaches life with a playful attitude, proving that nothing can hold him back. Boo communicates in his own unique ways, showcasing his goofy nature and ability to connect with those around him. He loves to engage with his environment, whether he’s chasing after toys, exploring new places, or curling up for some cozy cuddle time. His affectionate disposition makes him a fantastic companion who thrives on human interaction and companionship. Due to some separation anxiety, Boo would do best in a home where someone works remotely or spends a significant amount of time at home. This arrangement would allow him to receive the love and attention he craves. While he's not a fan of being crated, Boo is proudly house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. Boo is incredibly adaptable and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him an ideal fit for families or anyone looking for a loving furry friend. His playful antics and loving nature create a warm atmosphere, ensuring that your home is filled with joy. Boo is searching for a loving family that will embrace him and help him flourish. He is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations. If you’re ready to welcome a spirited and charming companion into your life, Boo could be the perfect match for you! IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Rocco! Rocco is about 7 months old and weighs about 45 lbs. We think Rocco looks like a Boxer/Pit bull mix, but this is just a guess. Rocco is a very happy boy who loves all people and is great with other dogs. Rocco even does well with cats. Rocco is super playful and loves all types of doggie toys. Rocco will do best in a home where he is not alone all day as he is very people motivated. While Rocco is not in a foster home with children we feel he would be just fine with children 10 years and up. The only reason we say 10 years and up is b/c Rocco might knock a younger child down just b/c he is so happy to see them. Rocco is doing well with his house training and doing ok with his crate training. Rocco is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $375.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
