Story
I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to schedule a time to meet with me, please contact my foster parent at aallshouse72@gmail.com. Gala is such a sweet, rambunctious, and adaptive pooch with so much personality - made all the more rewarding when you consider how she started out at the shelter: a very timid, fearful gal. She loves to go on walks -she sits at intersections! - and is perfectly houstrained. Gala is great on-leash outdoors around other dogs, but she can be reactive around other animals inside the home, so she would thrive in a home where she's the only pet or has time to get to know the other four+ legged patrons of the abode. Gala loves to nibble on her toys. When she wants your attention, she'll bring her toy and play footsie, holding your feet between her paws. It's extremely cute. She clearly knows how to get your attention - but don't be deceived! She's capable of entertaining herself for hours should you put a plushy toy her way. She's the perfect pooch if you want a spunky gal who's equal parts a couch potato.Check out Gala's video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdUq5QjnzaE

Story
Pluto is an adorable, energetic 5-year-old Pitbull/Labrador mix. During the first three years of his life, he lived in three very different environments. This has led to anxiety challenges for him; he can be quite vocal about feeling discomfort in new or challenging situations. Once he's gained confidence and you've earned his trust though, Pluto is the sweetest, most affectionate companion. He LOVES being outdoors—grass, sunshine and fetch are his primary needs. He's had a good bill of health, his only special need is food that does not contain chicken, as he is allergic. After an incident wherein a small child threw a ball at his head, Pluto is very scared of kids. Any home with children will not bode well for him, and any foster parents who have children over often may not be a good fit. He is also not trained to stay in a crate for long periods of time. Overall, optimal foster parents for Pluto are super patient and active adults who love to be outside.

Story
Snow and Blu Boy are brothers, they were born December 25, 2017. They are very well behaved and trained, good with people, children and other animals. They love a lot of attention, very lovable and affectionate. You can walk them both together with just one leash and a splitter. They love to play, and run in the snow. They are all up to date with vaccines, microchipped and neutered. I loss my husband to covid and can not give them the care and attention they need, due to my age.

Story
When you eat your Thanksgiving turkey- will you think of me?? I will be right next to you trying to get it... NOW will you think of me?? LOL, ok, I kid.... I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! So, what are you waiting for? Look me up, take me on adventures when you apply to adopt me! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Washington, District of Columbia too!

Story
Meet our pure bred Boxer beauty we call Jewel!!  This delightful, one year old, 56 lb. pure Boxer girl is a good representation of her breed.  Jewel is so very alert, intelligent and extremely affectionate.  Currently this darling girl is in a foster home with other Boxers, all foster sisters, and she is in heaven since her foster family has a great understanding of the breed.  Although Jewel gets along with the other girls, it would not hurt her feelings to be your one and only dog.  She is definitely a Diva, we call her the Belle of the Ball.  This active and agile girl is enamored with any human she meets.  We call her our VELCRO GIRL! Her stunning coat crimson/brown and her white chest makes her a head turner.  She is the total package with her beauty, muscular, healthy body and yet her oh so feminine side that shows through in her personality. And when it comes to riding in the car, Jewel is the perfect little passenger/co-pilot.  She loves to romp and play, play, play while fetching toys and has shown us what a quick learner she truly is.  Her foster mom has taught her to sit, shake, and lay down in no time because she is very food oriented with treats.  When she was first in her foster home, she was about 50% potty trained.  However, with the good folks that are fostering her, it has now been over two weeks without one accident.  She’s a smart one indeed.  The best home for Jewel, naturally is one that understands and loves the Boxer breed, which at one time the Boxers were the number one family dog.  She is active, likes to go on walks, hikes, trips to the mountains and of course this girl needs a safe and secure yard that is fenced in.  Jewel is spayed, UTD on all vaccinations, HW tested/prevented, microchipped, and flea and tick monthly supplements.  If you are interested, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com for an application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 7, 2024, 2:55 pm

Story
Meet Darling Daisy, a truly striking 4-year-old Boxer-Great Dane mix who has overcome so much. She was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where she was severely underweight and emotionally shut down. But now, in her foster home, she’s blossoming into the loving, gentle dog she was always meant to be!   At around 65 lbs, Daisy is a tall, clumsy sweetheart, still learning what it means to live in a home for the first time. She’s quiet, never barks, and has the most graceful manners. Daisy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even curious about cats (but only in a sweet, non-threatening way)! She may be a bit shy with new people at first, but once she warms up, she’s your best friend for life! Daisy loves dog parks, is great on a leash, and is house-trained. This easygoing, zero-issue girl is ready to fill your home with love and laughter.   ‍ If you want to give this special girl the forever home she deserves, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast weekly. More info and FAQs on our mission can be found at crittercavalry.com.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 6, 2024, 6:14 pm
