Brenda has never shown any signs of aggression—she is truly sweet, docile, and very well-mannered. She walks nicely on leash, rides calmly in the car, and is fully house trained, making her an easy and enjoyable companion. She is a happy, easygoing girl who would be perfect for someone looking for a quiet, loving, and loyal best friend. Chani was rescued from the L.A. shelter, where she was listed as a Cairn Terrier mix. She is about 4 years old and weighs a healthy 12lbs. They said she was super sweet and friendly, and they were not wrong. Chandi can be a little shy at first, but will let you approach her if she knows she will get pets or treats. After that she can be your best friend. Needless to say, she is great with people and just wants to be near her person and snuggle up next to them. She loves pillows too and when she has her favorite, she does not share. She is great with other dogs. They all seem to love her sweet nature. Chandi blended in immediately with her foster dogs and found a playmate with one of them. They chase each other until they can’t no more. She can be talkative, like she’s trying to tell you something. You just have to figure out what. She is good on walks, uses a doggie door, is potty trained and loves cuddles. We have her updated on her vaccines, is spayed and micro chipped. We think she is deserving of all the love, affection & commitment that a new pet parent or family could offer her. So happy to update that Valentino has come out of his shy self and we were able to give him a bath, introduce him to walks, he loves sleeping in bed with his foster mom who has the patience of a saint. Sadly, I was abandoned when a rescue closed and really want to find my forever home. I LOVE toys and playing with other dogs! I’m good with cats too. I’m a little shy though upon first meeting and prefer no small children please, they scare me. Not to brag but I’m super smart. I’m the kind of smart that keeps you on your toes so I need a human who appreciates a dog with brains and will keep my mind as active as my body.
