Story
It’s SUMMER, and you’re in luck because these little vegetables are in season! Squash and Gourd have been thriving in a foster garden for several weeks after being rescued by Maddie’s Dog Rescue. They have been growing steadily alongside their mama, Pumpkin, soaking in naps in the sunshine and learning all the best manners! Now, they are ripe for adopting… and it’s up to you to pick them! As a Cairn Terrier mix, you can expect this tiny Squash to stay small, but be warned–she may develop a big personality! Cairn Terriers are natural hunters, and they tend to have a spirited, intelligent, and fearless approach to their day-to-day lives. They form strong bonds with their families and thrive when they are included in your plans, but they have an independent streak, too! This makes training exceptionally important at Squash’s young age. Serve up a side of summer love and apply to meet Squash or Gourd today!

Story
A Note from Boo’s Foster: From the moment Boo entered the program, I got a firsthand look at his incredible, fun-loving personality and just had to foster him. He has been the perfect housemate to my dog and three cats, fitting in swimmingly with the whole pack. Because of my role as Administrator, he’s also a regular fixture at the office, where he treats everyone like a best friend—he truly has never met a stranger and is an absolute crowd favorite. What makes Boo so special is his loyalty. He is incredibly devoted to his person, and I know he is going to form such a deep bond with his forever adopter. He brings so much joy to the room with his playful energy, especially when he finds a toy... and the bigger it is, the happier he is! I know people might feel hesitant about his incontinence, but I always tell them: we established a routine, and that's all it takes. His huge personality shines so bright that you forget about the rest. I know his perfect match is out there, and I’ll be right here rooting him on until they find each other. Apply for Boo today!

Story
Tina packs a massive personality into a delightfully scruffy little package. With her spunky terrier heart and infectious curiosity, she turns every ordinary day into a grand adventure. This energetic girl spends her time zooming through the yard, pouncing on her favorite squeaky toys, and proudly showing off her trademark terrier curiosity. Tina is as clever as she is cute, always eager to explore every nook and cranny before trotting right over to demand some well-earned belly rubs. Tina brings non-stop smiles and warmth everywhere she trots. Life will look to be a little brighter, a lot funnier, and full of joy with this precious scruffball around! Story
Welcome Hannah to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 5-pound small Terrier/Cairn mixed pup. Her mom is Monica. She was on the street as a stray. We took her in to find out she was pregnant. The puppies were born in our Rescue. They have gotten lots of interaction. They are very social and friendly. Hannah is the most fluffy puppy in the rescue and she has slightly longer legs. This will make her a nice walking companion. Her coat is soft and thick. She is a fun pup to pet because of her coat. She is full of personality and very good with her litter group. She goes on a wee pad and is good in a crate. She likes all people and is not shy around strangers. Her mom is 15 pounds. We do think Hannah will be 15 pounds or less full grown. She is not a big shedder. She will make some lucky family a good pet. Anyone who adopts a puppy should not work all day every day because a puppy needs to be with their family and not home alone all day. She needs to finish up her puppy training. She will be a great dog for a social person wanting a matching puppy personality. She would be fine in a smaller condo size yard. She would be fine with other dogs. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is getting spayed, vaccinated and she will be ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also use one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. The puppies were born in our Rescue. They have gotten lots of interaction. They are very social and friendly. Pistol is the puppy with the irridecent coat. It looks black and brown in different lights. She also has slightly longer legs. This will make her a nice walking companion. Her coat is soft and flat. She is a fun pup to pet because of her coat. She is full of personality and very good with her litter group. She goes on a wee pad and is good in a crate. She likes all people and is not shy around strangers. Her mom is 15 pounds. Welcome Sean to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5-pound small Terrier/Cairn mixed pup. His mom is Monica. Monica was on the street as a stray. We took her in to find out she was pregnant. The puppies were born in our Rescue. They have gotten lots of interaction. They are very social and friendly. Sean is one of the middle sized boy pups. He has a fluffy coat but not as fluffy as his sister Hannah. He is cute and has the most adorable expressions. He likes being held and is very trusting of all people. He should be 10 to 12 pounds is our best guess full grown. He should be small enough to take with you in a doggy sling or bag. He is a fun pup to pet because of his coat. He is full of personality and very good with his litter group. He goes on a wee pad and is good in a crate. He likes all people and is not shy around strangers. Her mom is 15 pounds. Our guess would be 10 to 12 for him. He is not a big shedder. He will make some lucky family a good pet.
