Story
Meet Mari! Mari is a female Cairn Terrier mix who can’t wait to find her new forever home. Weighing a petite18 lbs, Mari is gentle, sweet, and loving. She is approximately 5 years old. She is spayed, and up to date on her shots. Cairn Terriers are known for their charming, spirited, and bold personalities. Mari is both playful and affectionate. She is a good fit if you appreciate liveliness and snuggling.  She has plenty of energy and loves to play, making her a joy for families and active individuals.  Cairn Terriers are intelligent and can seem stubborn. She is smart and learns quickly. She can also be a bit independent-minded. Consistent training is key!  What makes Mari wonderful is her curious and adventurous attitude. Her inquisitive nature makes her a natural explorer. Mari is loyal and she likes to form strong bonds with her family.  She likes to stay close and always knows where home is. One of Mari’s favorite pastimes is a good snooze on cozy dog beds or comfy blankets.  She doesn’t mind sleeping with little disturbances in her own space. She can happily sleep in her own room and prefers her own bed.  Mari enjoys a good brushing, and it relaxes her instantly.   Despite Mari’s small size, she has a big, fearless attitude which is common in Cairn Terriers.   Mari is brave and confident. She often thinks of herself as much larger than she is. She’s good with other dogs in the dog park. However, she is known to dominate other dogs who look like her.  She also enjoys some time in front of the mirror and appreciates her reflection.  Because of Mari’s dominant nature, she is leash reactive.   She is fine with other dogs when her leash is not attached but will become more assertive if she is near another dog while on her leash.  Her leash reactivity needs work and she needs a competent handler who is motivated to help her learn. Mari loves tasty treats and will hold off on her scheduled meals in hopes of something worthy of her palate.  Mari does not have accidents inside. However, be watchful for the first five nights as she is sorting out her surroundings.   Mari is perfect for someone who enjoys an energetic, snuggly, and entertaining companion. Mari is not suitable for a home with smaller children. She likes her space at times and prefers a more calm setting. She is not suited for a home with cats or other small critters. Her adoption fee is $450   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Cinnamon is a happy, playful, affectionate young pup who loves spending time with other dogs. Her favorite things are playing with canine friends, going for walks, and cuddling afterward. She is shy with new people at first, but once she warms up she is very sweet. She is still a puppy, so she needs a home that can give her daily exercise, companionship, and continued training.Cinnamon would do great in a home with other dogs or with people who enjoy getting out for a walk each day and will not leave her alone for long periods.Cinnamon is also a climber and can scale most fences, so she needs a secure space and no balconies for her safety. She was originally picked up for sterilization and was meant to return to the street, but a kind woman found her a foster. When that home was not the right fit, she came into our care and has been blossoming ever since. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
Bacca is a 2.5 month old Cairn Terrier mix with the perfect blend of scruffy charm and playful energy. With a Blue Heeler dad and a 10 pound Cairn Terrier mix mom, he’s expected to stay on the smaller side but brings a big personality wherever he goes. Bacca and his sibling were found on the side of the road, but you’d never guess it from his happy, loving spirit. He’s curious, smart, and already showing that loyal Heeler side, while still being a cuddly little terrier who loves attention. Bacca enjoys playing, exploring, and then crashing in your lap when he’s worn out. He would do great in a home ready for a fun, affectionate puppy that will grow into a devoted companion. Bacca is being fostered in TX but can be transported after adoption. You can apply directly for Bacca by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-854 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
✨ Meet Emma — Proof that joy can survive anything ✨ If you want to meet a dog whose soul defies everything she’s been through… meet Emma. Found as a stray in Mexico with only patches of fur left after severe mange, this little girl is living, wagging proof that happiness lies within, no matter the circumstances. At just 3.5 years old, Emma has already endured more than most dogs ever will. People walked past her. People looked away. Some still do — because her skin still has a few bald spots, and that’s all they see. But what they miss is everything that makes Emma extraordinary: 💛 The way she lights up a room with her fast, joyful spins when it’s mealtime 💛 How she leaps with pure happiness every time she sees you 💛 The gentle way she tucks herself against your side, asking for nothing but love 💛 Her resilience, her softness, her unbroken spirit Emma is still shy and crouches when someone approaches too quickly or when loud noises remind her of a past she should’ve never had. Only she knows what people did to her before she was rescued… but even after all of that, she chose to trust again. And now she deserves the best home in the whole wide world. One filled with patience, kindness, tenderness, and someone who understands that healing takes time — but loving her comes easy. Emma is safe. She is loved. And she is ready for her forever person. If you see her heart before her scars, you’ll never find a more loyal, grateful, or beautiful companion.

Story
Allow me to introduce Bailey and Sookie— wonderful dogs looking for a new loving home. Bailey, the darker of the pair, is 9 years old, while Sookie is 10. Both are in excellent health and fully potty trained. Thanks to a doggy door, they enjoy the freedom to go in and out as they please throughout the day. Bailey and Sookie are not only great with other dogs but also have delightful personalities. They thrive on human interaction and affection, which, unfortunately, I am unable to provide as much as I would like. These two were originally my parents’ dogs, and I’ve had the pleasure of caring for them over the past few years. My hope is to find a caring family who can welcome both Bailey and Sookie into their lives and offer them the attention and happiness they truly deserve. I’m committed to waiting for the right fit to ensure the best outcome for everyone involved. We live on an acre of land, so daily walks haven’t been a regular part of their routine. If walks are important

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Milo! 🧃 💙 Milo's News Account: @foster_zip_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, fully recovered from heartworm, dental scaling completed and one front tooth extracted. * Has allergies to ticks and fleas. Must have topical preventative medication applied monthly and his cushions and blankets must be cleaned regularly. 2⃣ Rescue Story * When Milo was at the Gimje City Shelter, he always had a sad face and sat in the corner. He was busy hiding in the corner whenever people approached, seemingly afraid of something. He was rescued before his fear and stress could worsen. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: If a stranger tries to touch him suddenly, he sends stress signals like yawning or smacking his lips. Specifically feels uncomfortable around older women and feels relatively more comfortable with men. With his foster family, he was particularly uncomfortable with the mother, but their relationship is gradually improving. With people he is familiar with, he does well enough to give kisses, allow hugging and touching, and even shows his belly! * With Dogs: Doesn't have much interest in other dog friends at his foster home. Feels more at ease with adult dogs than with puppies. While at our Center and training school, he was indifferent to other dogs and had no problems with them. * With Cats: Shows no interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Rests well alone without separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Potties indoors. Occasionally, he shreds the pee pad before using it to do his business. It seems like he does then when he gets stressed. Poops once every 2-3 days and has a bit of coprophagia (eating stool), so it is best to clean up immediately after he goes. * Hygiene: Is a bit scared of water from a showerhead but takes baths well and is good with hair dryers. Loves being brushed, so when he's in a good mood, he lies down comfortably for it. Doesn't like his paws being touched, so he may muzzle punch during nail trims; it's best to hold him and trim quickly. * Walks: Is scared of the outdoors and once panicked during a walk, so he is currently undergoing indoor walking exercises. Had a hard time at first, but it’s getting better and better! * Car Sickness: No motion sickness at all. Rests quietly in his kennel during travel. * Biting: Shows a behavior of opening his mouth toward strangers in situations where he feels scared. * Barking: Doesn’t bark loudly, but will bark softly at his foster guardian’s parents sometimes. Occasionally, if he wants to drink water or go potty and someone is with him, he makes a very small whining sound. After going potty, he whines to signal the foster guardian to clean it up. * Likes: Likes resting alone inside his kennel. Is a total snack lover. Loves all kinds of meat, such as boiled chicken breast and duck jerky! * Dislikes: Large movements or sudden touches can be burdensome for Milo. Specifically, if a stranger tries to grab his paws, he growls and twitches his lips. Also, if held for about a minute, he may have a potty accident. Is very alert to outside noises and shows some growling. Is scared of the sound of a leash buckle. Is sensitive to paw touches and is undergoing desensitization training. * Personality: Is sensitive and cautious, and he truly enjoys his alone time. On his good days, he'll come up to you, nudge you with his nose, and gaze deeply into your eyes. It takes some time for him to open up, but once he does, he's the most adorable sweetheart.
