Story
Meet Mari! Mari is a female Cairn Terrier mix who can’t wait to find her new forever home. Weighing a petite18 lbs, Mari is gentle, sweet, and loving. She is approximately 5 years old. She is spayed, and up to date on her shots. Cairn Terriers are known for their charming, spirited, and bold personalities. Mari is both playful and affectionate. She is a good fit if you appreciate liveliness and snuggling.  She has plenty of energy and loves to play, making her a joy for families and active individuals.  Cairn Terriers are intelligent and can seem stubborn. She is smart and learns quickly. She can also be a bit independent-minded. Consistent training is key!  What makes Mari wonderful is her curious and adventurous attitude. Her inquisitive nature makes her a natural explorer. Mari is loyal and she likes to form strong bonds with her family.  She likes to stay close and always knows where home is. One of Mari’s favorite pastimes is a good snooze on cozy dog beds or comfy blankets.  She doesn’t mind sleeping with little disturbances in her own space. She can happily sleep in her own room and prefers her own bed.  Mari enjoys a good brushing, and it relaxes her instantly.   Despite Mari’s small size, she has a big, fearless attitude which is common in Cairn Terriers.   Mari is brave and confident. She often thinks of herself as much larger than she is. She’s good with other dogs in the dog park. However, she is known to dominate other dogs who look like her.  She also enjoys some time in front of the mirror and appreciates her reflection.  Because of Mari’s dominant nature, she is leash reactive.   She is fine with other dogs when her leash is not attached but will become more assertive if she is near another dog while on her leash.  Her leash reactivity needs work and she needs a competent handler who is motivated to help her learn. Mari loves tasty treats and will hold off on her scheduled meals in hopes of something worthy of her palate.  Mari does not have accidents inside. However, be watchful for the first five nights as she is sorting out her surroundings.   Mari is perfect for someone who enjoys an energetic, snuggly, and entertaining companion. Mari is not suitable for a home with smaller children. She likes her space at times and prefers a more calm setting. She is not suited for a home with cats or other small critters. Her adoption fee is $450   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! ✨ Meet Emma — Proof that joy can survive anything ✨ If you want to meet a dog whose soul defies everything she’s been through… meet Emma. Found as a stray in Mexico with only patches of fur left after severe mange, this little girl is living, wagging proof that happiness lies within, no matter the circumstances. At just 3.5 years old, Emma has already endured more than most dogs ever will. People walked past her. People looked away. Some still do — because her skin still has a few bald spots, and that’s all they see. But what they miss is everything that makes Emma extraordinary: 💛 The way she lights up a room with her fast, joyful spins when it’s mealtime 💛 How she leaps with pure happiness every time she sees you 💛 The gentle way she tucks herself against your side, asking for nothing but love 💛 Her resilience, her softness, her unbroken spirit Emma is still shy and crouches when someone approaches too quickly or when loud noises remind her of a past she should’ve never had. Only she knows what people did to her before she was rescued… but even after all of that, she chose to trust again. And now she deserves the best home in the whole wide world. One filled with patience, kindness, tenderness, and someone who understands that healing takes time — but loving her comes easy. Emma is safe. She is loved. And she is ready for her forever person. If you see her heart before her scars, you’ll never find a more loyal, grateful, or beautiful companion.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Kenzie,  A Cairn Terrier-Poodle mix, and her bonded puppy, Sofie. Kenzie was rescued from an overcrowded kill shelter. Unbeknownst to us, she was pregnant, and a few weeks later, surprised us with a 3 AM delivery of four puppies Kenzie is a gentle 3-year-old Cairn Terrier mix looking for a loving forever home. She has faced some challenges and now hopes to find someone who will walk with her, cuddle with her, and care for her every day. Sofie is Kenzie’s 4.5-month-old puppy and the smallest of her four surprise pups. She may be shy at first, but she quickly warms up and loves to cuddle when held. Sofie thrives in a gentle, quiet environment where she feels safe and secure. She enjoys being around people who are patient and offer her lots of love and attention. An ideal home for Sofie would be one with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for cuddles and playtime. Whether you're a single person, a couple, or a family, Sofie will fit right in as long as there's a loving corner for her to settle into. Kenzie likes eating human-grade food and relaxing in the sun. She enjoys her toys, playing with Sofie, and exploring together. Here's what a typical day with Kenzie and Sofie might look like: In the morning, Kenzie and Sofie start their day with a refreshing walk around the neighborhood, followed by a tasty breakfast of human-grade food. As the day unfolds, they enjoy some playtime together, engaging with their favorite toys and occasionally napping in a sunny spot. In the afternoon, you might find them happily exploring the backyard or snuggling next to you while you work from home. As evening approaches, Kenzie and Sofie love another walk, followed by more play or a quiet evening cuddled on the sofa. When you’re busy, they keep each other company, and when you’re ready to relax, they’ll happily cuddle on your lap. Kenzie enjoys daily grooming and loves being close to her person. This includes regular brushing to keep her coat tangle-free and occasional baths to maintain her cleanliness. She adapts well, whether you work from home or take her with you. Don’t miss the chance to welcome these sweet girls into your life! Kenzie and Sofie are ready to share their love! **Adopting Kenzie and Sofie** To apply to adopt this mom-daughter pair, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Missy has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble and focuses on a healthy, canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.                                                                                  The adoption fee is $750.00 for both Kenzie and Sofie and includes vaccines, rabies, and a microchip.   https://rompinpawsrescue.com   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 10, 2026, 1:51 pm

Story
Audrey is a lively and loving Cairn Terrier mix who’s ready to be someone’s devoted sidekick. While she may be a mature lady, she still has plenty of pep and absolutely loves staying active. Daily walks, car rides, and cozy snuggle time are at the top of her favorites list. Audrey is a smart girl who already knows her basic commands and truly shines when she has your full attention. She would do best in a calm, quiet home without cats or young children. Audrey would love to be your one-and-only, but she may also be happy living with another mellow, independent dog who doesn’t mind letting her take center stage. Audrey has been diagnosed with a heart murmur, but a cardiologist has confirmed that her condition is stable. She takes Vetmedin, which will need to be continued for life, and she’s doing well on her current routine. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited companion who will keep you smiling and shower you with affection, Audrey just might be your perfect match. (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Milo! 🧃 💙 Name: Milo 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in May 2021) 💙 Weight: 5.65 kg / 12.46 lb 💙 Milo's Updates Account: @foster_zip_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. * Is allergic to salmon, so you should check the ingredients before feeding any kibble or treats. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * While at the Gimje City Shelter, Milo always had a sad expression and would sit quietly in a corner. He seemed to be scared — whenever someone approached, he would quickly retreat and hide. To prevent his fear and stress from worsening, Adogs rescued him. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy around strangers and feels uncomfortable with sudden touches — he may yawn or lick his lips when uneasy. Feels more uncomfortable with middle-aged females than males. Among his foster family members, he seems to feel particularly uncomfortable around the mother but the relationship with her is improving step by step. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he allows cuddles and belly rubs, gives kisses, and even enjoys being held. When he feels affectionate, he gently boops with his nose and gazes lovingly at you. Expresses his affection to foster parent by exposing his tummy. It is important to take time to allow him to open up. * With Dogs: Tends to have no interest in other dogs whom he encountered at his foster home. Was aloof but got along with other dogs without trouble at our center and dog school. * With Cats: Shows no interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Displays no signs of separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Uses pee pads and artificial grass indoors. Never goes on a pad that’s already been used and folds it — he’ll wait for a clean one. Poops every 2 to 3 days. Tends to eat his poop, so it would be better to clean it up right after he potties. * Hygiene: Is a little scared when sprayed with the showerhead, but overall handles baths well and doesn’t mind the use of a hair dryer. Enjoys being brushed, and when in a good mood, he will even lie down comfortably during grooming. However, he doesn’t like his paws being touched, so there’s a chance he might give a warning punch (using his mouth) during nail trimming. It’s best to hold him securely and clip the nails quickly. * Walks: Is a little scared of the outdoors, and had a panic attack previously. Is currently getting training indoors for walking. During leash training indoors, when the leash is tugged briefly to signal for him to go, he runs straight to another space and then runs back to his dog bed. Feels nervous and pants when people try to stop him during such time. Has been more resisting the leash lately, so we paused the walk training for now. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness. Stays calm and quiet in a kennel during travel. * No biting behavior. * Rarely barks. When he wants to drink water or needs to potty, he whines a little. Whines at his foster parent as a signal to clean up after he potties. Sometimes barks timidly at the parents of the caregiver. * Enjoys relaxing alone in his kennel. Is a true treat lover — meats like boiled chicken breast and duck jerky are his favorites! * Sudden movements or unexpected touches can startle him. Especially when a stranger tries to hold his feet, he may growl and snarl his lips. When strangers try to hold him for more than a minute, he will make potty accidents. Is very sensitive to outside noises when he’s indoors and he growls. During training, if he gets stressed, he pees and runs away. Is sensitive about having his paw touched, so he’s undergoing desensitization training.
