Butter Believe It doesn’t know it yet, but there are a whole lot of good things waiting for her. There are toys she hasn’t discovered, grass she hasn’t run through, treats she hasn’t tasted, and people she hasn’t met yet who may someday wonder how their home ever felt complete without her. For now, Butter Believe It is a newborn baby girl, and her world is exactly as small and cozy as it should be. Her days are spent eating, sleeping, staying warm, and growing alongside her littermates, Gouda Little Gooda, Cream Dream Supreme, and Cheddar Little Charmer. We don’t know yet whether Butter Believe It will grow into the adventurous puppy who wants to investigate everything, the silly one who keeps everyone laughing, or the one who always finds the best place to curl up for a nap. She’s still too little to tell us, and we’re happy to let her show us when she’s ready. Over the next several weeks, Butter Believe It will start experiencing so many firsts. Her world will get bigger, her personality will begin showing itself, and we’ll start learning all the little things that make her different from her siblings. Eventually, one of those firsts will be finding a family of her own. Dulce is Spanish for sweet, and we cannot imagine a more fitting name for this teeny tiny girl. From her soulful eyes and adorable scruffy face to the way she gently nuzzles into you like you are her favorite warm spot, everything about Dulce Kisses is soft and sweet. She may need a little time before showing you her cuddly side, but once she decides you are safe, she will lean against your legs for affection, place a tiny paw on you asking to be picked up, and crawl right into your lap. With animal rescue, breed and age are always a mystery and our best guesses. What we do know is that she is a teeny tiny little thing with the sweetest scruffy face! Dulce is dog friendly and has done great with the dogs we have introduced her to. She is also fostered in a home with other dogs and has spent time around dogs both her size and larger than her. Dulce has a gentle approach and appreciates dogs who understand that. She is not the type to immediately jump into play or enjoy another dog being pushy or all up in her face. Give her a little time, though, and you may catch her offering the cutest mini play bow or happily trotting alongside her new friend. She could live with another small gentle dog or even a larger dog who is calm and respectful. Dulce also met our house cat, Biggie, and was very appropriate and respectful with him. She did not chase him and was not bothered by Biggie jumping around or doing the funny things cats do. Biggie seemed comfortable around her too! We do not know whether Dulce has ever lived with a cat, and this was our first time seeing her interact with one. If you have a cat at home, we can arrange a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! New people and unfamiliar environments can feel a little overwhelming to Dulce at first, so she will need someone willing to let her open up at her own pace. Her affection is worth the wait. Before you know it, she will be pressed against your legs, gazing up at you with those soulful eyes and asking to be scooped into your lap. She is incredibly loving and affectionate once she feels comfortable, and we have a feeling her favorite place will always be wherever her person happens to be. Dulce is crate trained and generally seems comfortable relaxing in her crate. From what we have seen so far, she also appears to understand where the appropriate potty places are. She loves treats, takes them very gently, and already knows how to sit. Treats are definitely one of the quickest ways to her heart! For now, Dulce would do best in a quieter home with a yard where she can settle in without the noise and commotion of big-city life. She could use a little more practice on leash, so a patient family who can help her build confidence at her own pace would be perfect. Dulce does not need anyone to rush her. She simply needs a soft place to land, gentle hands to guide her, and a lap that is ready to become her favorite warm spot. Jake is a cranky ol guy who gets around like a young dog. He jumps in and out of my car easily and loves when i come home from work to play. I have 6 other dogs and he doesn't get the attention he deserves at all He loves to sit on your lap as you mow the lawn on your riding lawn mower if you happen to have 1 and he just loves the out doors. Hes game to go for a ride if he knows where hes going. Today he didnt want to go for a ride which is unlike him. But he did just spend 2 nights away from the pack and maybe wanted to just stay home today. I travel alot for work and he really needs a stay at home parent to be his forever buddy. He does have a growl that will put you back a little . When i go to pick him up he sometimes nips n growls but it never hurts. Hes doesnt liking being picked. up. I wound not have small kids around Jake because of this factor. And an adult house hold would be best.for Jake. Hes apx 7 years old dispite his grey hair and has lots of life left in him.

Welcome Hannah to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 5-pound small Terrier/Cairn mixed pup. Her mom is Monica. She was on the street as a stray. We took her in to find out she was pregnant. The puppies were born in our Rescue. They have gotten lots of interaction. They are very social and friendly. Hannah is the most fluffy puppy in the rescue and she has slightly longer legs. This will make her a nice walking companion. Her coat is soft and thick. She is a fun pup to pet because of her coat. She is full of personality and very good with her litter group. She goes on a wee pad and is good in a crate. She likes all people and is not shy around strangers. Her mom is 15 pounds. We do think Hannah will be 15 pounds or less full grown. She is not a big shedder. She will make some lucky family a good pet. Anyone who adopts a puppy should not work all day every day because a puppy needs to be with their family and not home alone all day. She needs to finish up her puppy training. She will be a great dog for a social person wanting a matching puppy personality. She would be fine in a smaller condo size yard. She would be fine with other dogs. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is getting spayed, vaccinated and she will be ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also use one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Meet Mari! Mari is a female Cairn Terrier mix who can’t wait to find her new forever home. Weighing a petite18 lbs, Mari is gentle, sweet, and loving. She is approximately 5 years old. She is spayed, and up to date on her shots. Cairn Terriers are known for their charming, spirited, and bold personalities. Mari is both playful and affectionate. She is a good fit if you appreciate liveliness and snuggling.  She has plenty of energy and loves to play, making her a joy for families and active individuals.  Cairn Terriers are intelligent and can seem stubborn. She is smart and learns quickly. She can also be a bit independent-minded. Consistent training is key!  What makes Mari wonderful is her curious and adventurous attitude. Her inquisitive nature makes her a natural explorer. Mari is loyal and she likes to form strong bonds with her family.  She likes to stay close and always knows where home is. One of Mari’s favorite pastimes is a good snooze on cozy dog beds or comfy blankets.  She doesn’t mind sleeping with little disturbances in her own space. She can happily sleep in her own room and prefers her own bed.  Mari enjoys a good brushing, and it relaxes her instantly.   Despite Mari’s small size, she has a big, fearless attitude which is common in Cairn Terriers.   Mari is brave and confident. She often thinks of herself as much larger than she is. She’s good with other dogs in the dog park. However, she is known to dominate other dogs who look like her.  She also enjoys some time in front of the mirror and appreciates her reflection.  Because of Mari’s dominant nature, she can be a bit leash reactive.   She is fine with other dogs when her leash is not attached but will become more assertive if she is near another dog while on her leash.   Mari loves tasty treats and will hold off on her scheduled meals in hopes of something worthy of her palate.  Mari does not have accidents inside. However, be watchful for the first five nights as she is sorting out her surroundings.   Mari is perfect for someone who enjoys an energetic, snuggly, and entertaining companion. Mari is not suitable for a home with smaller children. She likes her space at times and prefers a more calm setting. She is not suited for a home with cats or other small critters.
