Story
Azazelle is a 10 year old cat. She is a quiet little kitty who likes a chill quiet environment. She loves attention once she has taken to you, she will be your best friend. She will come up for loving in the morning (5am-615am when I get up for work) and late at night. She will sleep with you at night. She will move from your knees to your head and finally end up right about your hip and sleep there. If you get up in the night just lift the blanket a few times and she will move. She is a sweet cat, but a little skittish. She would do best in a quiet, calm, relaxed home. She is ok with small dogs, but never been around big dogs.

Story
Approximate Date of Birth:7/1/2024 Description:   Coral is an adorable, spirited little calico with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her playful and affectionate nature shines through. Coral enjoys spending time with her siblings, racing around and chasing them in delightful kitty playtime adventures. Toys of all kinds are her favorite—especially if they involve a bit of a chase! This precious girl is also a big fan of Churo treats, which are her ultimate indulgence. They’re a great way to win her over as she warms up to her new family! Coral has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), but that doesn’t stop her from being a joyful, playful kitten. Coral can have many wonderful years ahead of her, and with the right care, she’ll continue to thrive. Coral would do best in a home with other FeLV-positive cats, or as your one and only furry friend.  Adopting an FeLV-positive kitten like Coral means you’re giving a loving, deserving kitty a chance at happiness. With time, patience, and lots of love, Coral will be a sweet, playful companion who brings joy to your home every day. Words to Describe Me: Playful, affectionate, shy at first Favorite Place to Sleep: Kitty tower and a fluffy kitty bed Favorite Toy: Fuzzy ball jungle ball Kitty's Likes: Treats and playing fuzzy ball Kitty's Dislikes: Belly rubs Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Churo treats Good with Cats:  Likes cats given a proper introduction. Good with Dogs:    Likes dogs given a proper introduction.  Good with Children: Can live with children over the age of 5. Companion Animal: Requires a companion if left alone for long periods of time. Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Coral tested positive for        FeLV                therefore she would need to be in a home with other FeLV kitties (or adopt one of the other FeLV kitties in the rescue) or she can be your one and only girl.  Saving One Life will provide veterinary care throughout this feline's life. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match. Story
Approximate date of birth: 1/18/2023 | Hi, I'm Paisley and I'm basically a friendly pup disguised as a cat! I'll greet you at the door like I've been waiting all day just for you, even if we've never met before. Maybe it's because I was raised around dogs, but I'm unusually social, super sweet, and totally easygoing. I love to chat and will happily have a full conversation with you (especially if treats are involved). My favorite thing in the world is climbing onto your chest to purr and snuggle, I'm a total lovebug. I'll even lean in to give you kisses, just to make sure you know how much I adore you. And if you want to see me lose my mind in the best way, just shake a bag of Temptations salmon or chicken flavor. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, talkative companion who acts more like a puppy than a cat, I'm your girl. Let's meet.... I promise I'll be the first to say hi!| How to apply: please fill out application at https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply_sb/May 12, 2025, 3:16 pm

Story
Approximate date of birth: 1/1/2020 | Hi, I'm Zelda! I'm a gorgeous gray tortie with striking green eyes and a calm, quiet soul. I was recently returned to the rescue after my previous family had a loss in the family, but I'm doing my best to settle in quickly and show the world my charming personality. I warm up quickly and happily lean in for head scratches and gentle pets down my back. I'm an independent gal who loves her quiet time, especially perched at the very top of my cat tree. I'll let you know (politely!) when I've had enough attention. I'd be happy as your one and only or with other easy going cats; I am afraid of dogs though. I've met kids over 8 years old and didn't mind their company as long as they pet me nicely. If you're looking for a peaceful, easygoing companion to share your quiet home, I just might be your girl. I'm ready to find comfort, love, and my forever person.| How to apply: please fill out application at https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply_sb/May 13, 2025, 11:46 pm

Story
Hello, I'm Achilles My favorite thing to do is Play hide -n-go seek... Im always the hider. I love to play and chase toys! What makes me special is I was brought into the rescue when I was only 6 weeks old after having a tragic accident that caused me to break two of my legs and mangle my tail. After many weeks in casts, a tail and a leg amputation, I recovered with only a nubby tail and a hop to show for it. I have always been a little scared of people but a really am sweet inside. I want my new owner to know I need a home with a LOT of patience. I am not the kind of kitty you bring home and start playing with. I may need weeks to feel safe and comfortable. I scare pretty easy so I will need a quiet home with no dogs or young children. Older teens would be ok. I would do best in a home where I'm the only animal. Don't let this scare you off of me! Once I'm sure everything is OK, I am the biggest love bug! I will want to be pet, snuggled, scratched and belly rubbed! My foster mom put her bed on the floor so I wouldn't hide under there while I was adjusting and it is just low enough that I can climb up. I love to watch TV with my people at night while they give me love. Then I get down and play with all my toys. When I am feeling playful I like to… I love stuffed mice, anything I can hit and then chase after, krinkle balls and string. I love to chase bottle caps too. When it is time to rest I sleep I sleep on the bed or in my hiding spot. I am not only a 3 legged cat, I'm also a chubby 3 legged cat. I never really got the hang of climbing after my accident. I can do stairs and low shelves but tall cat trees are not recommended. When I get spooked, I dart and if I'm up high...I just face-plant. Grace isn't in my vocabulary. I am good with Kids, Cats and I am not good with or unsure around Dogs By nature I am… Energetic, Playful, Very Shy, Loud, Affectionate.November 5, 2024, 10:00 pm

Story
Hi there, I'm Zephyr,  My favorite thing to do is... Play with my house mate. It took me a while to warm up to him cause he's crazy but I really like running and chasing him. I like the doggies too a long as they don't chase me. What makes me special is... I'm a very shy boy. It took me a few months to warm up to my foster mom. Now I really like her and go to her for pets and love. Bribery with treats did the trick. I want my new owner to know... I need patience and a safe space but once I earn up I'm so so sweet. I just get scared sometimes. I never bite or scratch, I'll just run away. I probably won't do well in a very busy household. It you're played back and kind of quiet people, I'm perfect for you! I get very scared being picked up but my foster mom is working on that. I almost tolerate it now... almost. Is rather just be at your feet and getting tickles. When I am feeling playful I like to.. (favorite toys): I like to play with the other kitties. I like balls and strings and other kitty toys. I'm a great climber too. Tops of cabinets are a great spot to view my world. Where do I sleep? I like the tops of cabinets and cat trees. I am good with: Cats and Dogs It is unknown if I am good with: Kids, but due to my shy nature, may not be the best fit for a home with kids. By nature I am... Energetic, Playful, Very Shy, Quiet, Curious, and I do not like to be heldApril 19, 2025, 10:08 pm
