Story
Meet Venus: A Mighty Aphrodite with a Survivor’s Spirit At just two years old, Venus has already lived a life worthy of legend. This striking calico beauty was discovered under a trailer near a mechanic’s shop — malnourished, terrified, and doing everything she could to protect her kittens. A tight, non-breakable plastic collar had embedded into her neck, a harsh reminder of a past that didn’t show her the kindness she deserved. But despite it all, Venus is healing—both physically and emotionally. She’s learning, day by day, that people can be gentle and surroundings can be safe. While she’s still a little reserved when it comes to pets and kisses, she’s made it clear she knows what love looks like: she’ll happily rub up against your legs the second she hears a can of wet food crack open. Venus is an independent soul with quiet strength. She’s not much for toys yet—survival didn’t leave room for play—but we believe with time and patience, she’ll discover how fun the world can be. For now, she enjoys peaceful naps on the piano or sofa, and stretches luxuriously on the floor after a good meal. She’s content sharing her space with other cats and would thrive in a calm, loving home that respects her pace. While not a lap cat, Venus will reward your care and compassion with quiet companionship and the satisfaction of watching a once-wary cat bloom. Give this feline goddess of love and beauty the second chance she so deeply deserves—she’s more than ready to find her forever sanctuary.

Story
Kalani is a calico kitty. She is very sweet and lovable. She has a lot of energy and loves to run and play with toys and loves interactive toys. She especially loves to bird watch out a window or bat balls across a room. She is shy at first but warms up to people quickly. She doesn't love to be picked up and held, but does love petting and attention and purrs while being petted and will roll onto her back for belly rubs. She gets along with most cats after a very slow introduction. She would do best in a quiet home. Kalani has had a full-mouth extraction due to Stomatitis. It has completely cleared up and she's doing great. Approx. DOB: 7/1/22 If you would like to meet Kalani, please go to https://hart-az.org/hart-cats-for-adoption-1 and fill out an application. If approved, we will contact you to set up a time for a meet and greet.

Story
Say hello to Peaches. She will be 4 years old this May. She is a spunky girl who will chat with you as you ask her questions. She has been with another cat her whole life, so I know she gets along with others. She is the type of cat who doesn’t care for strangers, but absolutely loves her people unconditionally. I am looking for someone who will take care and give her the love she deserves. I live a quiet lifestyle and that’s what she has grown up in. It’s killing me to give her up, but with my move coming up, it’s just not an option. Let me know what questions you have. Thanks for looking.

Story
Tigger is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves human attention and isn’t shy about leaning in for pets. He thrives on one‑on‑one interaction and builds strong bonds with his people. He can get a little overstimulated when he’s stressed, especially around other cats, so he’d do best in a home where he can be the center of attention or with adopters who can give him slow, thoughtful introductions. Tigger previously lived with another cat, but may prefer a quieter setup or a companion who respects his space. With older kids who can read his cues and a home that gives him room to settle, Tigger’s friendly, engaging personality will shine. He’s the type of cat who will happily follow his favorite person around and soak up all the affection he can get. Adoption requirements: older kids (7+) My adoption fee is $100 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market

Story
Sweetheart is a resilient kitten with a story that will melt your heart. When she first arrived in her foster home, she was very fearful of handling and unsure about people, but with patience and love, she’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate little companion. Today, Sweetheart enjoys the comfort of her foster family and has even made friends with the other pets in the home! She gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats and truly thrives when she has another furry friend to keep her company. She loves observing the world around her and curling up in cozy spots once she feels safe. Sweetheart will do best in a calm, adult-only home with adopters who understand that she may need time to decompress and adjust to her new environment. Because she can be skittish around fast movements and loud noises, a peaceful household with another friendly pet is essential to help her feel secure and continue building confidence. If you’re willing to give her the patience and gentle care she deserves, she’ll reward you with trust, companionship, and endless sweetness. Adoption Requirements: Other pet(s) in home Her adoption fee is $175 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market

Story
Boba is a 9 year old mustachioed queen with a charming look and a laid-back personality to match. She’s a true couch potato who loves lounging in cozy spots, snacking on treats, and batting around toys when the mood strikes. Boba prefers to be the only cat in the home since she doesn’t get along with other felines and would thrive in a space that’s all hers. She needs time and space to settle in, so a calm environment with adults or respectful teens would be ideal. Once she feels safe, Boba’s sweet side shines through, and she’ll happily share quiet companionship with her favorite humans. If you're looking for a mellow, low-maintenance companion with a dash of sass and a great mustache, Boba might be your perfect match! Adoption requirements: No other cats, teens 13+ Her adoption fee is $100 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market
