Story
Lily is a bonded female calico approx 3 years old (must be adopted with sister Izzy). Very friendly cat and she’s very sweet but something about my environment just doesn’t work for her and her sister and it’s no longer fair for me or the cats to try and force this situation to work. For whatever reason since moving into my house a year ago they’ve had consistent issues using the litter box (previously fine for 6+ months) and I’ve tried everything to change their setup to make it work but it isn’t. They’ve always been indoor cats with me but have expressed interest in going outside. I’ve got a ton of stuff to send with them so please take whatever works for you, I really want the best for them.

Story
Meet Venus: A Mighty Aphrodite with a Survivor’s Spirit At just two years old, Venus has already lived a life worthy of legend. This striking calico beauty was discovered under a trailer near a mechanic’s shop — malnourished, terrified, and doing everything she could to protect her kittens. A tight, non-breakable plastic collar had embedded into her neck, a harsh reminder of a past that didn’t show her the kindness she deserved. But despite it all, Venus is healing—both physically and emotionally. She’s learning, day by day, that people can be gentle and surroundings can be safe. While she’s still a little reserved when it comes to pets and kisses, she’s made it clear she knows what love looks like: she’ll happily rub up against your legs the second she hears a can of wet food crack open. Venus is an independent soul with quiet strength. She’s not much for toys yet—survival didn’t leave room for play—but we believe with time and patience, she’ll discover how fun the world can be. For now, she enjoys peaceful naps on the piano or sofa, and stretches luxuriously on the floor after a good meal. She’s content sharing her space with other cats and would thrive in a calm, loving home that respects her pace. While not a lap cat, Venus will reward your care and compassion with quiet companionship and the satisfaction of watching a once-wary cat bloom. Give this feline goddess of love and beauty the second chance she so deeply deserves—she’s more than ready to find her forever sanctuary.

Story
Kalani is a calico kitty. She is very sweet and lovable. She has a lot of energy and loves to run and play with toys and loves interactive toys. She especially loves to bird watch out a window or bat balls across a room. She is shy at first but warms up to people quickly. She doesn't love to be picked up and held, but does love petting and attention and purrs while being petted and will roll onto her back for belly rubs. She gets along with most cats after a very slow introduction. She would do best in a quiet home. Kalani has had a full-mouth extraction due to Stomatitis. It has completely cleared up and she's doing great. Approx. DOB: 7/1/22 If you would like to meet Kalani, please go to https://hart-az.org/hart-cats-for-adoption-1 and fill out an application. If approved, we will contact you to set up a time for a meet and greet.

Story
We adopted Thelma from Maricopa Animal in 2015. She is now about 12 years old. I need to rehome her because I am now too old (80s) to continue caring for her. Over our marriage my wife had many cats, Thelma is the most intelligent of them all. She has always been an indoor cat, not suited to roaming the neighborhood. She does like attention, but she can also be independent. Her fur is sleek, not fluffy (except for her white tummy fur).

Story
We adopted Roe (call her Roe Roe) back in the beginning of 2022. According to them she already had a litter, roughly 5 years old(now) and is spayed. Super sweet cat but can be very shy, especially at first. Once she warms up to you, she likes cuddling and will sleep on you at night time. She has not been around dogs but used to around a male indoor cat. If you already have a cat and think they can get along, she would definitely be a good companion. Can provide an automated water, food and litter box as well as any toys and other supplies we have. We do not want to let her go but the only reason why is we recently had a baby and believe it’s causing allergy issues.

Story
Boydie is a 7‑year‑old male cat who is slow to warm up at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate side begins to shine. A true wallflower, Boydie prefers a calm environment where he can observe quietly and build trust at his own pace. He gets along well with dogs and coexists peacefully with other cats, making him a great match for a relaxed multi‑pet household. Boydie would do best with a family with children ages 7 and up who understand the importance of patience and gentle interaction. One of Boydie’s favorite things in the world? A covered cat bed where he has a designated place to relax and feel secure. Paired with a comfy hideout and a patient family, Boydie blossoms into a loyal, affectionate companion who simply wants a peaceful home to call his own. Adoption Requirements: Older Kids 7+ My adoption fee is $120 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market
