Approximate Date of Birth:8/29/2021 Description:   My story begins with my siblings, and I being taken care of by a kind older lady, who helped us figure out a way off the streets. I'm by far the most observant and intelligent of my siblings and will try to find the highest perches in the house to be able to gaze down at my new domain. I am very thoughtful when presented with something or someone new and will be prone to assessing from a distance before I make the decision to interact on my own terms. Once you get the chance to know me, though, you will see that I am very gentle and empathetic and am always willing to brush against your legs and back to offer quiet reassurance. I love going inside boxes and running around; my favorite toys are the ones like wand toys or ribbons that you can participate in with me, but I also love ball tracks and puzzles when left to my own devices. Atole was catnapped by my friends cat (her cat liked to take kittens she saw in the streets as her own).Atole is about to be 3 years old, she is really sweet and shy, likes to lay of fluffy pillows and sleep on the floor where the sun hits the most, and rarely plays with cat toys I am looking someone to give her what she wants and she wants no other cats with her, she used to be a only cat then my sister couldnt keep her cat so i took her in and Atole did not like that and I just…can not give her what she wants because also i have a roommate who is allergic to cats and i have rehomed my other cat aswell but i havent found anyone i know who meets the requirements that atole needs.

Cricket is a very happy, inquisitive, and playful kitty. She loves people. Cricket adapted very quickly to our Sanctuary. She is a foodie. She would like to help you open a can of food. Cricket wants to be involved in every project going on in the house. She has a sweet sister, Apple, who is listed in Adopt A Pet also. They get along very well and like to be around each other.

Meet Twilight! This 3-year-old neutered male kitty is searching for a new home after he was returned to the rescue due to a medical condition. It was discovered he has environmental allergies and needed some allergy meds (much like a lot of humans!). He is now thriving in his foster home on allergy meds (Cyclavance 25mg). He does fine with other cats, but high energy dogs stress him out. He would do good in a home that is quiet and would enjoy the company of a kitty!  Twilight loves the companionship of humans after he settles in. He just adores being in the presence of his humans and will follow them from room to room. He can be shy meeting new people, but is loving and playful once he realizes you are good people!  Just because Twilight has allergies, doesn't mean he doesn't deserve an amazing home. For now he is on allergy meds, but it may not be forever, we just don't know yet! He responds well to his meds and takes it with his food. Hopefully he doesn't get overlooked over something he can't help! Albert was a tiny little nugget when he was rescued out of a dumpster and taken to Altered Tails. Albert was placed into a foster home where he thrived around other cats, dogs, kids and even a pig. This sweet boy is now looking for his forever home. An active home is preferred so he can burn his energy. Albert needs to be an indoor only cat.  Albert will have age appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, dewormer, microchip and neuter prior to his final adoption.
