Nugget came to our family initially with a plan to be a temporary houseguest. She belonged to my brother and his housing situation was such that he could not care for her. Well, here we are two years later and she is still with us. My son unfortunately started having some health issues this past winter and we did some allergy testing and found that he is allergic to cats, my brother is still unable to care for her so rather than put her in another temporary housing situation we are looking for a forever family for her. She has been a great companion and friend to us. Although we had never had a cat before, we very much enjoyed having her as part of the family. We have been working through an issue with her at the vet, we've found that she has a high level of calcium in her blood and we're trying to find the root cause, I have a summary from the vet I can provide of what we've done so far for anyone interested in her. Nugget is currently asymptomatic, it was found in some routine labs.

Story

Kitty (short for Kittygato) is a typical independent cat, she loves to play when she is awake and you will often hear her hunting around the house for toys. At the end of the day she enjoys cuddling up next to you, but not too many pets or she'll run. She also had most of her tail removed. We adopted her from petsmart in Mesa and they told us that when she came in with her tail was so damaged that they had to amputate. That definitely doesn’t stop her doing anything a normal cat does.

Hi, I’m Clara! I’m about 9 months old and I’ve been fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. I am a super sweet girl and just love human attention! My favorite thing to do is be held so I can rub my face all over yours. I can’t get enough pets and love. I have the coolest color pattern since I’m a mix of tortie and calico, and have such a soft face. My foster mom says that it looks like I’m always smiling. It could be because I really am always happy! I love to play with wand toys and lounge in my cat tree while I watch the birds outside. Sometimes I’ll even chirp at them. I have been around other cats and do great with them with slow introductions… I have not been around dogs, so my foster parents would prefer a home with no dogs (exception can be made if dog is small and calm). I really am the very best girl and can’t wait to meet my furever family!
