Been fostering these two for a awhile now. Unfortunately i am no longer able to take care of them. The calico is Mabel(F) and gray cat is Dipper (M). There is no adoption fee! I just want them to be in a good and loving home! They are playful and curious kitties. They are great around kids and are litter box trained.

Story
Unfortunately, I have a dog that doesn’t do well with cats so I can’t house Stella anymore for her wellbeing. She’s sweet, lazy, loves attention, and does well in a house with older kids.(no little kids) She loves talking, getting very chatty when demanding her morning wet food and is an absolute glutton for treats.Stella is the type to headbutt you until she gets all the pets she wants which makes her a little bossy. When she isn’t looking for attention she takes tons of naps. Napping is her favorite pastime activity. So If you have a peaceful home and is looking for a chill kitty, she’ll be perfect for you.

Remember Miss Titi? Well, her owner recently died a few weeks ago and we took her in. Even though she’s adjusted very well to her foster home, she’s still very sad so we told her we would find her a new home as soon as the vet bloodwork came in. Results? No thyroid or metabolic issues. SHE’S JUST FAT! 😹 In fact, the bloodwork came back great! She’s been given a clean bill of health. Obviously she needs to go on a diet, but we are not using prescription food at this time because unfortunately she was fed a low quality food (basically kitty Taco Bell) so we think a diet of higher quality food might be enough to do the trick. She seems to like what we have her on now . We’d also like to incorporate some more wet food in her diet, but that has to be done very slowly to avoid gut upset. Titi is a female calico, 6 to 7 years old and a whopping 19 pounds! She was raised with a big dog and seems to get along well with other cats who respect her boundaries but ideally she’d do best as an only cat. She is fully vetted for her age, litter box trained, and a total sweetheart -loving, and friendly. She’d be the perfect companion cat to someone who wants a low maintenance kitty with lots of love and laughs to give. Ironically she’s quite the ham LOL- not shy at all ! She likes to chat so she specifically requested a family who isn’t boring 😹 Titi also wanted to thank our amazing monthly donors so we can say “YES!” to urgent situations like these. Application and comments below check out our stories to see more pictures of this gorgeous gal! 📸 Pics by Elke ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens arenât subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you wonât be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we donât skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We âve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process
