Home to Home Program Contact: Allison at 209-846-4034 Boots and May are about one year old spayed females. Boots is a mostly black DSH with little white paws, and May is a beautiful calico. They are very bonded to one another and would love to go to a home together, but if that's not possible they would be able to go separately. They are both friendly and social, and have a sweet and calm demeanor. They like to be held and love to purr. They are good with other cats, great with children, and have been around small dogs. They were strays in the neighborhood, and were rescued when they were both pregnant. They raised their kittens together, and they have all found homes. If interested please contact Allison at 209-846-4034

1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). Are you looking for a clingly lap cat? Well look no further than Honor! We nickname her velcro because she loves to be attached to her human as much as possible! She will follow you around and insist in sleeping in bed with you so hope you're cool with that! She of course enjoys playing and gets along with everyone. As a kitten she loves to play of course so make sure you're into that too! She's a gorgeous dilute torti- a rare color combo and her olive eyes are enchanting! Act quick to make this special girl yours! She is fully vetted for her age, litterbox trained, microchipped, etc! ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. Story
Her Story: Cornelia started her life at a heavy equipment plant, along with other kittens who were also born there. Her standout physical feature is the star on her forehead. If there was a yearbook for cats, Cornelia would be voted least photogenic. The camera just doesn't capture her cuteness. Her standout personality trait: Corny can be possessive when it comes to playing with toys! That peacock feather is hers and hers alone! She hits home runs every time she bats at the bead toy! There's no better batter than her! Energy level: During playtime, HIGH! Want to meet Cornelia? Send us an email and we will respond with some questions to better get to know you before deciding on a good time for a meet and greet. We deliver all of our adoptable pets to their new home. We serve most of the 530 and 916 area codes. We do not charge an adoption fee and ask only for a donation to help offset some of our costs. All of our adoptable pets are fully vetted and ready and waiting for their new loving homes! We look forward to hearing from YOU!

She's wearing a phantom of the opera mask! or so it seems. . Her standout personality trait is that she's not met a toy she didn't like! And she thinks they are all hers! Story
We rescued 2 female kittens Magnolia and Maribelle. They are sisters, we think. We've got them their first round of shots and have checked for chips (they are not chipped) They are approximately 14 weeks old, both have been given a clean bill of health. We have a new born baby and are unable to give them a forever home. We would like them to stay together, they LOVE each other. We've also bought them a TON of kitty toys and a litter box Condo as well as scratch posts and pads to make their stay with us as comfy as possible and will be happy to donate all thier goodies with them to a new forever home. They are sweet little girls, full of cuddles and energy. They are extremely playful and very curious! They let us cut their nails and brush them and we can handle them and snuggle them with ease. They get along with each other perfectly, not sure how they are with other animals. Again we would love to see them stay together, but are willing to adopt them separately.

Story
I've had Cider for 2 years, I got her from Bradshaw Animal Shelter. At the time they thought she was between 3-5 years old. She was fairly underweight when I adopted her but otherwise healthy. She has been a great cat, but my fiancé is severely allergic so I can't keep her :(. She is pretty mellow other than occasional bursts of energy. She likes to play with hair ties and scratches on those cardboard scratchers. She sleeps on the pillow next to me every night. Cider is quite talkative and will complain at me if I've been gone too long. I don't know how she'd be with dogs (I imagine fairly timid, like she'd probably hide from them). She has never scratched me and I think would do well with kids. She is slow to trust new people but once she does she is very loyal and will sit next to me and purr while I watch TV. Cider only eats dry food right now but went through a phase of liking wet food. She likes to sit in boxes, on bags, or in cubbies. She loves sitting in our window sills.

Story
About two months ago, an adorable stray cat found us – super friendly, female, spayed, shots (we took her to the vet), no chip, about a year old. Came right up and wanted to be picked up/pets. After searching for an owner and coming up empty, we decided to keep her. She's been great with our family, especially my 8-year-old (no bite or scratching), but unfortunately, she doesn't get along with our two cats. She's affectionate, loves being held, makes muffins and lays down with us, and even greets guests at the door (indoor kitty). We've decided to re-home her since she needs to be the only pet. If anyone's looking (or knows someone) for a sweet, loving kitty, let me know. And we will give you a cat litter box along with her. (Name: Sabine. Nickname: "beans" or Beanie Baby).

If you don't like trimming nails then I'm not the guy for you because I have extra toes on my front feet. Yep, I'm a polydactyl cat. That's why my feet look a little silly, but it makes it easier to may kitty biscuits when I'm sitting on your lap. I'm a chill guy and like to hang out with people and sleep, be petted eat and repeat. I love all my friends here, but really miss having a home of my own. If you're interested in a friendly cuddle dude. Please pick me!

You'll often find me cuddled with my friend Eddie or asking for pets or food. Two of my favorite things. I've been a bit of a loner since I've been here, but I often think about the time when I had a home of my own and I wish for that again. Please ask about me I have a story to tell, Nora
