Story
How this pet arrived:Sebastian was brought in by his previous owner on March 6, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Sebastian, a shy feline who came to us alongside his buddy Spooked #893826 and several other cats. Sebastian is looking for a patient and understanding home, without young kids, where he can feel safe and secure. He's a bit timid around people, so he'll need some time and patience to come out of his shell. He will need to be adopted with Sebastian or into a household with another friendly cat to help him feel more at ease! While we can't promise he'll become the life of the party, with the right environment and love, Sebastian has the potential to blossom into the cat that he's truly meant to be! Shy/Fearful Cat:  Sebastian requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Ticked Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 9.24 Age: 3yrs 5mths 3wks

Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue cat. For more information regarding Sully, contact Paige below... SULLY BASIC INFO Age: 3 years (04/01/2021) Color: Black Eye Color: Green Breed: Domestic short hair Sex: Male - Neutered - Up to date vaccines - Good with other cats, will likely tolerate dogs/children. Needs time to warm up/ trust Sully is a lovable goofball who craves attention and cuddles. At 3 years old, Sully has developed special needs beyond his family's capacity to care for him. His perfect forever home will have doting parents who are able to provide a comfortable life for him. Sully was adopted from a local rescue organization at 3 months old in July 2021. At about 1.5 yrs old, he developed a sideways gait and started having accidents outside the litter box. Multiple vet visits determined he was born with a spinal deformity, starting from the base of his skull. Today Sully is almost completely incontinent and has lost most mobility in his hind legs (scoots/drags to get around). He needs to be in an enclosure at night to prevent accidents and monitored/diapered during the day. He also requires daily grooming or bathing as he is unable to clean himself properly. Despite his physical disability, he is a very happy and friendly cat. His silly demeanor will keep a smile on your face daily. He loves sleeping the day away in his cat tower, but will vocally demand his meals (or dramatically launch himself off if you take too long). Every once in a while, he manages a lopsided sprint across the house for breakfast, hitting every obstacle in his way. He definitely won't be climbing your counters, but may catch you off guard when he flings himself onto the couch for snuggle time. He loves face scratchies and arm stretchies- he will thank you with deep purr purrs. But more than anything, he loves cheese. Sully lived with two other cats- he's a slow burn but comes around in time (needs extra time to trust they won't hurt him). He hasn't met children, but has always been a people-cat first and would adapt. Sully is a spunky, strong-willed guy ready to start a new life with a loving family. Will you welcome Sully into yours? How this pet arrived: Tubby was brought in by his previous owner on May 9, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Tubby, a resilient cat in search of a new home to call his own! Tubby is accustomed to the company of other cats and will need to be adopted with one of his current feline friends or into a home where another cat already lives. Tubby has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and an enlarged heart so he will require a medical consult prior to adoption - we'll take this opportunity to tell you more about his care! While he's a bit reserved with people initially, once he warms up he becomes a playful and spunky little guy! He loves all toys and will run around until he's tired himself out. He can sometimes use his claws and teeth when interacting with others, so he's looking for a home without young kids. Other than that, he's ready to find his new home! Interested in adopting? Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Amaretto is a 2 year old young lady that one of our volunteers rescued from a precarious life. She was living with her littermates on the street in a high danger zone. We couldn't leave them there, so our volunteer took all of them in to give them a chance at life. Amaretto is a shy girl, it will take her a while to warm up to her humans, but once she does, you have a friend for life. We know she appreciates having been rescued and wants to trust people so badly but it just takes her a little time. She could easily join a home with another cat or cat savvy dog. She is particularly fond of one of her siblings. So if you are interested in adopting a pair, please look at Kahlua's bio as well. They do not need to be adopted together, but if interested in two kitties, they would be a great duo. Because of her initial shyness, we would be open to a foster-to-adopt program with her. If you think she might be the one for you but want to do a trial period to make sure, we can arrange that. She loves her cat tree and soft beds in her foster home. And she is very treat motivated, so that would be a fast track to bonding with her. She just needs a forever person or family to give her a chance. We know her purrfect person will see her post and know she is the one! She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.July 23, 2024, 11:05 pm

Story
Peter Muffin, a 3-year-old tuxedo cat, is looking for a new home where he can be the king of the castle. He's a laid-back and affectionate companion who enjoys lounging and climbing to take in the views, but can be shy at first. Due to his territorial behavior, he needs a home with no young children, no high-energy pets, and preferably no other cats, or a very compatible feline friend. Peter Muffin is litter trained, indoor-only, and requires a calm and stable environment with plenty of vertical space for climbing and observing. If you're an experienced cat owner who can provide the perfect setting for this charming cat, let's connect and find Peter Muffin his purrfect new home!
