Story
Dusty is sponsored by Sonja Amato SNAP Cats rescued Dusty from Merced, CA. Dusty is the sweetest kitten ever!!! She’s always looking for your attention, loves pets and gets along with all of the others here. Despite her twisted rear legs, Dusty gets around just fine, can climb up cat trees and stairs. However, Dusty’s kinda incontinent. She tries to use the box when she pees, but she leaves “Dusty Droppings” of poop wherever she goes. If you’re interested in Dusty please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.April 7, 2025, 3:48 pm

Story
Matilde is sponsored by: Alice Weigel SNAP Cats rescued Matilde from Mozambique, Africa. Matilde is a very sweet kitty. She’ll greet you when you come in the room, and solicit pets until it’s enough. She is a Calico after all. Matilde gets along well with other cats or will fit in nicely as an only cat. BTW: Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Matilde will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of her. Matilde's not aggressive toward other cats so there's no chance of her transmitting it. If you’re interested in Matilde please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.October 15, 2024, 5:39 pm

Story
GiGi is sponsored by: Michael Snider SNAP Cats rescued GiGI from Palm Springs, CA. This girl is all Calico! And you know what THAT means. Sweet one minute; not so sweet the next. Age has mellowed her a bit, but she still has that edge that makes calicos, well, calicos. The perfect home? A calm, kid-free environment with a high perch and a window to watch the birds outside would be ideal. Oh, and wet food. GiGi LOVES wet food. Gotta have that! The right flavor, of course. Which varies from day to day. Of course. If you’re interested in May please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Story
Telly is a delight to live with 100% of the time. There's never a dull moment with Telly around! As a curious bottle baby with a can-do attitude and athletic body, Telly is pretty sure the "rules" don't apply to her. She eagerly explores the table tops and highest bookshelves like they were put there for her. Telly purrs readily, plays happily, and is very gentle. This petite calico makes amazing biscuits and is great company. You may have seen her on WCAL's social media! She loves her humans and is an amazing young cat. We're looking for an adopter who won't mind providing Telly with a special diet and attentive care.Found all alone in Napa, Telly came to WCAL from an AT&T maintenance yard as an itty bitty baby who needed to be bottle-fed. We had some trouble weaning this kitty from a bottle onto canned food because she wasn't able to keep solids down at first. Working closely with our vet, we determined it was likely a food allergy causing occasional vomiting and indolent ulcers (also called eosinophilic granulomas). Telly eats a special diet of hydrolyzed protein kibbles, which is working well to keep her sensitive and adorable little body happy. She occasionally needs a round of prednisone if she has a flare-up (it's a low-cost medication WCAL doesn't mind helping with). The most common reason for sores or similar issues in special kitties like Telly is a food allergy or possibly stress in their home or even a flea allergy. If you would enjoy sharing your home with an outspoken calico princess and understand that Telly needs to continue this special diet to keep her feeling her best, then we have the loving, athletic kitten for you! This kitten is one of those extra special babies - the ones our volunteers have bottle-raised. Kittens raised by humans are extra comfortable around people and love attention. Since they didn't have the opportunity to be raised by a mama cat, they have zero street smarts and we are looking for a family who is committed to keeping them indoorsonlyfor life. Story
Calliope was the leader of her little pack of siblings, but now that they have all been adopted, she is so SO ready to have a forever home of her own. This darling little dilute tortie really is just the sweetest little kitten you'll meet, she is loving, playful and as darling as can be! Once Calliope has had her fill of romping around, she will happily curl up in your arms for a snuggle and a snooze before it's time to start playing again. She has done fantastically growing up in her foster home and gets along well with children of all ages, other cats, and cat-savvy dogs. Calliope would love to have a family to call her own, and another kitty friend to play away the day with in her forever home. If you are interested in meeting Calliope, please fill out an application on our website: forgottenfelines.com/cat-app

Story
Do you like cats? Happy cats who like being showered with affection? Silly cats whose meows sounds similar to a duck's quack? Beautiful cats who seem to know exactly when you pull out the camera so they can strike a pose? Then do we have the perfect cat for you! Darling miss Sandy is all of that and more- she is sweetness personified and wrapped up in a silky-smooth fur coat. Sandy delights in the cozy things in life; warm laps for snuggles, rolling around to receive lots of belly rubs, tasty treats, etc. This perfect gal is looking for an indoor only forever home and we think she'd do well with just about anybody. Sandy loves everyone she meets, and usually only needs a minute or two to work up the bravery to say hello. We think Sandy would do best in a home without dogs, and we're not a hundred percent sure how she would do with other cats or small children, but with how wonderful Sandy is, we don't think it would be out of the question! If you are interested in meeting Sandy, please fill out an application on our website: forgottenfelines.com/cat-app
