Mischa and Poppi are 3 year old sisters.They were found and rescued from the street as kittens by their owner.Sadly, their elderly owner had to move into a memory care facility and could no longer care for them.These girls are petite girls with delicate features. They’re sweet, sensitive and just darling. They don’t bite or scratch.Mischa loves to jump in the air and catch ‘mice’ on a string. She’s a mighty huntress. Poppi loves to make biscuits and lounge on laps. She’s a love bug.They’ve been indoor cats in a calm, quiet environment their entire lives and will continue to need the same.Mischa and Poppi have been through a lot of changes and are shy at first with new people. Romeo wandered in on a rainy night in November 2024. I fed him a snack and left the door ajar so he could leave when he wanted to. He didn't. Three weeks later I found his owner who came to get him. After three attempts, we gave up and he's been with me since then. He is an outdoor cat, spends a little time with me indoors (he's next to me on the desk). He is punctual about arriving for meals and is usually at the door at 6 am and again at 4:30. I love him. So, WHY am I having to let go of him?? Because he lives to hunt. Here, in downtown Sebastopol, he hunts songbirds, lizards, rats, mice, gophers, possums, and the occasional baby snake. Also, he has always felt that the whole neighborhood was his kingdom and he enters other peoples' homes at will, devours available food, and will harass their pets. He never bothers people. My neighbors have been patient but it's time for him to go. He's a good boy with a big personality.
