We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Millie is about 7 years old. She is declawed on the front and back so makes her great with furniture. Always uses the litter box. I am moving and can’t take her with me.

Sweet, Renee was surrendered by her family when she was no longer convenient.  She's a sweet, chunky and loving girl.   She has a great personality and wants the love of a new human. Renee will jump right in your lap if you come to visit her at the Adoption Center.   She is now looking for her new forever family and is waiting on your call.  She's been at the Cat Rangers Center for a while and dreams of having her own home soon. Cece is a beautiful kitty who loves ear rubs and attention from her foster mom.  She's super easy going purrs all the time.  Cece loves other kitties and likes to play with them.  She'd also be fine on her own. Simba is quiet, laid back, and curious at times. Simba is the son of our cat Josey. He is 1yr old. We just want him to be well kept and loved.

This is Stephen! He's around 7-8 yrs old. He's a big guy with a lot of love to give. He needs a bit of help with his weight loss journey. Even though he's a hefty boy (18 pounds at his last vet visit), he still loves to play - he just needs some extra motivation sometimes. He loves to lay with his person and has a pretty loud purr. Stephen gets along with most other cats, but since he has a dominant personality he does best with ones that will play with him, aren't too submissive, and aren't old/fragile. I have two other cats and he gets along with the younger one. However, he and my senior cat do not get along at all. My senior cat is 18 years old and I have come to the difficult decision to put his health and happiness first by rehoming Stephen. Stephen does have hyperesthesia, so his back and sides get super sensitive and he can be reactive due to that, so he will need to go to someone that respects his boundaries. He loves heavy head and neck pets/rubs though!
