Leela is a greedy sweetheart. She tends not to be super aggressive at first around new cats but she tends to not take too long to get along with them but with my cat she tolerates him. She is not truly his friend and their dynamic does not mesh. She loves to go outside. I put a harness on her and let her walk in the backyard and she did good.

She was recently (late July) found limping, and based on a vet visit she had a hair line fracture of her pelvis!  That was it!  We took her off the street and into our program! She is now fully healed and ready for her final home!! So sweet, so calm and just rested until healed.  She is a delight!   She is FIV positive as we just found out.  But she is healthy and will remain healthy if kept in side with reasonable care and food.  NOTE: For this sweet cat, the Rescue will GUARANTEE her health for anyone adopting indefinitely, we will pay any vet bills (don't expect much), and will also have her teeth cleaned when recommended! I got Icarus from one of my ex-girlfriend’s acquaintances, who found him curled up on a tire next to the engine of a car, trying to keep warm. That’s how he got his name—Icarus, because he almost flew too close to the sun. He was about 2 months old when we took him in, and he’s now a little over 3 years old. I’m looking for someone who has the time to spend with him and who will allow him to explore and roam indoors as freely as possible. The adjectives I would use to describe Icarus are curious, but cautious, playful, and very loving. He loves to be picked up like a baby and cuddled or petted. He’s a little skittish and standoffish at first, but give him some snacks and a few pets, and you’ll be good friends in no time!
