We’d like you to know about Jeanne.   Jeanne, a dedicated teacher for many years, is also a lover of cats. She consistently rescued and s/n her local cats and kittens all her life and personally adopted the ones that needed more medical care or socializing. Last year she was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, which is a terminal respiratory disease. She has been given only a few months to live. This is/was my daughters cat but she had to move to Montana, she had planned to come back for her cat but her apartment won't let her have a cat. She is sweet and affectionate. For some reason her and my male cat just don't seem to click. They don't fight beyond the occasional spat, they just don't seem to get along. They coexist ok together but I feel she deserves better. We only wanted one cat but if they got along I'd keep her, but she doesn't seem to be happy being the "other" cat. She would be great in a household with dogs and she might love another female cat or maybe it's just my male cat but she deserves to be with someone who can give her the affection she craves without competing with my male cat that was here first.
