Melon is a quiet sweetheart with a tiny little peep meow. She enjoys playing with string toys and gets pretty riled up / active if you play with her. Otherwise, she is very chill and sleeps / rests all day. She is a cuddler and wants to be petted/snuggled and is a good lap cat. She is 11 years old. Everyone comments on how pretty she is. Her calico coloring is uniquely dusty / muted. I have a new project out of state which requires me to travel every other week and this isn't lining up with melons needs. Her new owner should be someone who doesnt travel frequently and can maintain a strict schedule for food, attention, and all the normal things a cat should have.

We have had our precious Lola for about 4 years now. We adopted our baby girl from a young woman that was not honest about her health issues. We have taken her to 3 vets and they all claim she may have an autoimmune disorder. Her ear’s dont stay clean, she scratches and shakes her head and hisses when she isnt doing well. She also seems to have a gastrointestinal issue but we cant even afford the tests for everything she may have. We have spent over 1500 in medical bills which may not seem like alot but we have had to replace furniture and floors from peeing. She is good with an open litter unless she is sick. When her issues aren’t as bad she is the best kitty and friend you could ever have. Not being able to give her the life we would like to is breaking my heart and this decision was not made lightly. My heart breaks knowing my baby may be leaving but i want her to have the best life she deserves. Please give my lola a loving home with a fam that can afford caring for her. #heartbrk

She uses the litter box but for some reason she just goes on couches, blankets, rugs, and clothes that are on the floor. She was found in 2014 by a shelter in Chicago on April 1st. She does not bite.
