Story
🐾 Two Sweet Sisters Need a New Home — Cookie & Elf, ~5 Years Old (Shrewsbury, MA) Cookie and Elf are a bonded pair of tortoiseshell cats looking for their forever home together. They've lived with us for five years and have been wonderful companions — affectionate, playful, and social with people. About them: ~5 years old, both spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and preventative care Strictly indoor cats Bonded pair — they do best (and are happiest) together, as you can tell from the photos Love window watching, cuddles, and playtime Social and gentle Why we're rehoming: We're expecting our second child and relocating internationally — it's simply too much transition for them to handle well, and they deserve a stable, loving home. We're looking for: A calm household that can take both cats. Ideally someone with cat experience. We're happy to share their full vet history and answer any questions. 📍 Shrewsbury, MA | 🏠 Indoor only | 💉 Fully vaccinated

Story
Abilene is the kind of young cat that makes your heart ache in the gentlest way. At nine months old, she’s shy when meeting new people and cautious with new cats at first. She likes to take her time, sitting back and watching everything with her big, thoughtful eyes before deciding it’s safe. She doesn’t rush into new situations… she tiptoes into them. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/4bC-8_NEjGU?si=YL3j080KH00foKSw And there is something so incredibly sweet about that. Abilene isn’t loud or demanding. She’s soft. She’s gentle. She’s the quiet little girl in the room who just wants to feel safe. But once she does? Oh, she blossoms. With other cats, she may be shy in the beginning, but once she gets to know them, she truly loves having kitty friends. She finds comfort in them and enjoys their company in the sweetest, most peaceful way. A calm, friendly feline sibling would likely help her confidence grow even more. And when playtime starts? It’s like watching the sunshine peek through the clouds. The shy girl disappears and suddenly she’s chasing toys, pouncing, batting at anything that moves. She plays with her whole heart. In those moments, you see the happy, playful cat she’s meant to be. It’s beautiful to watch her forget her worries and just be a cat. Abilene would thrive in a patient, loving home — somewhere calm where she can settle in at her own pace. She doesn’t need perfection. She doesn’t need excitement. She just needs someone gentle. Someone who understands that shy kitties aren’t broken — they’re just tender. The best part about a young cat like Abilene is the bond you’ll build. When a shy girl chooses you, it means everything. Every small step forward feels like the biggest victory. Every moment of trust feels earned and precious. She isn’t the bold kitty who runs up to everyone. She’s the one who will quietly steal your heart. Abilene is waiting for someone to see how special she is. Someone who will give her the time to bloom into the confident, playful sweetheart she already is on the inside. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones… Abilene just might be your girl. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Meet Molly Fish 🐾 Molly Fish is a gentle, sweet-natured calico girl with a heart as soft as her fur. With her quiet charm and affectionate ways, she’s on the lookout for a calm, cozy home where she can lounge in sunny spots, perfect her biscuit-making skills, and share her love. Molly may be a bit shy at first, but she quickly warms up—especially if you come bearing treats. Her foster says she greets you with happy meows and adores being brushed and petted. One of her sweetest quirks? She’ll bump foreheads with you if you lean in close, offering the feline version of a hug. She’s also been an incredibly loving mom to her kittens, always letting them eat first and chatting to them with soft, twirly meows. Molly loves attention but is also content to relax by the window, watching birds, squirrels, and the world go by. She has experience living with other cats and could join a mellow feline family—or be your one and only cuddle companion. Molly would thrive in a peaceful home with a loving singleton or older adults who appreciate quiet companionship and cozy vibes. Story
Meet Baby Girl, a 9-month-old kitten with a gentle heart and a soft, quiet spirit. She can be a little shy at first and may need a few weeks to feel safe and comfortable in a new home, but once she warms up, she’ll reward your patience with sweet moments of trust and affection. Baby Girl enjoys gentle pets and, once she feels secure, will allow you to pick her up for short periods of time. She’s the kind of kitten who blossoms at her own pace, making every small step forward feel extra special. She shares a very strong bond with her mom, Mama Cat, and truly thrives with her by her side. Baby Girl looks to her for comfort and confidence, so she would do best in a home where they can be adopted together. Keeping them as a pair would help Baby Girl continue to grow into her loving, affectionate self. If you have a patient heart and are looking to welcome a deeply bonded duo, Baby Girl and her mom will fill your home with quiet love, warmth, and companionship.
