Story
My name is Natalie, and at just under a year old, I am officially in my “young, fabulous, and ready to be adored” era. I’m on the lookout for a home that needs a stunning feline to lounge gracefully in the window — you know, the kind that makes the neighbors slow down just to admire me. I fully intend to be the cat that makes the whole world a little jealous. But beauty isn’t my only talent. I absolutely love attention. I’m the kind of girl who will happily soak up your affection, lean into your pets, and remind you daily that you made the best decision bringing me home. Whether I’m perched elegantly in a sunny spot, keeping you company while you unwind, or following you around just to be near you, I’m ready to be your sweet, devoted companion. If you’ve been searching for that perfect mix of charm, grace, and affectionate personality — I just might be your girl. For more information about adopting Natalie, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com I can’t wait to find my forever window… I mean, home. March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
My name is Flora. I’m a 2 year old long haired calico with a lot of white in my coloring, a beautiful calico tail and pretty green eyes. I was thankfully surrendered by a woman who didn’t treat me well and when Kitty Connection met me they were concerned about my muscle tone and my coat being in very poor condition. That was over a month ago. They have given me lots of time with just rest and recuperation. It took me about a week to come out from under my blanket and I still find this to be my most safe place. Second most safe place is under the desk. I instinctively run when my foster mom comes up to me but after the first week I realized I wanted to be touched and will come back to her for lots of petting and nuzzling my nose into her hand especially if she stops too soon. My appetite is great, i'm gaining weight and my coat looks much better but I do still need more time to learn to trust humans. My foster mom has some other cats and I can’t figure out yet what I think about them. One of them will chase me around the house and I don’t like it, but if he’s not chasing me I don’t mind sitting next to him under the desk. I’ve only gone out to explore the rest of the house a few times because this boy just doesn’t know how to give me space! I am sharing my room with a kitten right now and I am curious about him so I stay out from under my blanket for more time during the day. Maybe I’m learning to be a little braver from him because I don’t hide as quickly and when I do I will come back out again sooner. I really want to find my person….someone who has the patience I need to continue learning that humans can be good. I think Im a quiet, low key kind of girl and whoever lives with me should enjoy that about me. I might be ok with another cat as long as they are gentle and low key like me but I don’t think I would do well with the unpredictability of either young children or dogs. If I sound like your kind of girl then i'd love to meet you!

Story
Lola is a gorgeous senior calico that came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation. She is a very shy girl, borderline spirit cat (a rarely seen kitty companion), but she has been coming out of her shell with us over time and we think she will thrive in a quiet home, perhaps with a friendly kitty or two to show her that humans are just weird looking besties. No kids or dogs please, big noises are a little too new and scary for our gentle girl.  Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided. The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY TO APPROVED ADOPTERS.  Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org.  A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references.  You will be contacted by our adoption staff once your application has been approved.  Please note it can take up to 48 hours. Our online sites are updated regularly, but we can not guarantee that a cat you see here is still available. Please email if you have any questions regarding the adoption process or our available cats and kittens. PALS is an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue group. Each and every cat and kitten has been rescued locally. May 26, 2026, 12:54 pm

Story
Meet Boots-Boots is a friendly, interactive boy with a lot to say and plenty of personality to match. He loves being part of the household action and is always ready to “chat” with his people throughout the day. Whether he’s greeting you in the morning, commenting on dinner preparation, or simply announcing that he has entered the room, Boots believes conversation is very important. He’s social, curious, and enjoys attention, but he prefers affection on his own terms. Boots is not a fan of being picked up and would much rather stay grounded while accepting pets or relaxing nearby like the distinguished gentleman he is.Boots is deeply bonded with his best friend Rascal, and the two are looking for a forever home together. They spend their days playing, lounging, and keeping each other company, and their bond is truly special. Boots brings a sweet, laid-back energy to the duo and would make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

Story
Riley Junior (RJ)Riley Junior has the most opinions out of the crew, a real cat of a kitten! She`s playful, loves getting pets, and is always in the fray during play time. She`s the most reserved around children and can take a minute or two longer to warm up than her sisters but once she gets to know you she`s all in. Riley is very attached to her siblings and would love to go home with one of them to help her feel safe and secure and make sure she always has a buddy to help her learn new things.Riley Junior has the lightest coat of the 3 girls and the longest hair. Sometimes hard to tell apart from the others unless you see them together.
