Story
🐾 Two Sweet Sisters Need a New Home — Cookie & Elf, ~5 Years Old (Shrewsbury, MA) Cookie and Elf are a bonded pair of tortoiseshell cats looking for their forever home together. They've lived with us for five years and have been wonderful companions — affectionate, playful, and social with people. About them: ~5 years old, both spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and preventative care Strictly indoor cats Bonded pair — they do best (and are happiest) together, as you can tell from the photos Love window watching, cuddles, and playtime Social and gentle Why we're rehoming: We're expecting our second child and relocating internationally — it's simply too much transition for them to handle well, and they deserve a stable, loving home. We're looking for: A calm household that can take both cats. Ideally someone with cat experience. We're happy to share their full vet history and answer any questions. 📍 Shrewsbury, MA | 🏠 Indoor only | 💉 Fully vaccinated

She loves snuggling, “talking,” and playing. Very well-tempered — great with children, other cats, and dogs. Never bites or scratches. She eats IAMS dry chicken and likes wet food. Comes with automatic water bowl, carrier crate, and litter box. Story
I found Kimbo at the MSPCA in Methuen in 2010 when she was just about 9 months old. She had gorgeous eyes, was super clever, and would affectionately bump your forehead with hers. I picked her up as soon as I could and never looked back. Kimbo has followed me on my journey through adulthood, meeting (and judging) partners of mine as I narrowed in on my forever human, and even getting to meet the little one that we created. She is a happy and healthy 16 year old cat. She loves jumping up on the couch and chilling with her humans. She also loves running around the yard in the spring summer and fall. My forever human and I have unfortunately developed extremely severe allergies to cats, so much so that we are unable to touch them with our bare hands. As a result, we have made the heartbreaking decision to find a home for Kimbo (and Jade) that would be just as accommodating and loving as the one they have now. They deserve all the head boops and scritches that we can't give them.

Meet Callie! Adoption fee: $249 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Meet Callie, a stunning young mama cat with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. We were contacted by a tenant at an apartment complex who found this pregnant beauty curled up on her porch, seeking a safe place to have her baby. Of course, we couldn’t say no—and not long after arriving in our care, Callie gave birth to a single precious kitten. Now that her mama duties are done, Callie is ready for a forever home of her own—and she deserves nothing less than the best. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves lounging in sunny spots and receiving gentle pets. Callie is in a foster home with several other kitties she could be adopted with if you're looking for a pair. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. Meet Coral - A survivor - In The New England Area Adoption Fee: $199 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Coral is an 18-month-old dilute calico with a heartbreaking past but a hopeful future. This sweet girl was rescued from an awful situation when some very cruel boys tried to get their dogs to attack her. Thankfully, a kind person intervened, scooped her up, and brought her to safety with our rescue. Because of what she went through, Coral is understandably fearful of dogs. She would be happiest as an only pet, which makes her the perfect companion for someone who just wants one very special kitty to love. Despite her sad past, Coral’s spirit shines through. She is friendly, gentle, and warms up quickly once she feels safe. She has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the right family to give her the forever home she deserves. Coral is living proof of resilience—and now she’s ready for the happy ending she should have had all along. Could you be the one to give Coral her second chance? Story
Hi everyone, my name is Karma 💛. I’m an 11 month old girl looking for my forever home. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was nervous and immediately started searching for a safe hiding place. My foster mom quickly learned I’m incredibly smart, athletic, and determined when I decide where I want to nap. I’ve squeezed through tiny openings, climbed over barriers, and even removed a vent cover trying to get back to my favorite cozy hiding spot under the basement stairs. My foster mom says I’m basically a tiny furry Houdini. The funny thing is, once I come out of hiding, I turn into one of the sweetest cats ever. I absolutely love affection. The second you start petting me, I flop right onto my back for belly rubs and melt into your hands. Even if I’m busy exploring or playing, I’ll stop immediately for attention and cuddles. I love people. I just also really love having a safe little retreat where I can fully relax and sleep. I’m curious, confident, and incredibly resourceful. I investigate every inch of the house and nothing escapes my attention. I also seem very easygoing around other pets and haven’t been bothered at all by the dog and cat in my foster home. My foster mom thinks I would do best starting out in a smaller, cozy space while I adjust and learn I’m safe. Once I settle in, my affectionate and playful personality really shines. If you’re looking for a smart, funny, loving little companion with a huge personality, I might be your girl.

Seven Lucky Kitties – Looking for Their Second ChanceThese seven beautiful cats survived a devastating house fire in Worcester, and every single one of them is a true survivor. They’ve been through something no animal should ever experience - smoke, chaos, fear, and sudden loss of the only home they knew. Some have small burn injuries, all are still learning to trust again, but each one has a spark of bravery that’s beginning to shine through.Right now, they need gentle, patient adopters who understand that healing takes time. Soft voices, slow movements, and a calm environment will help them blossom into the loving companions we know they can be.Although they previously had indoor/outdoor access, we are seeking indoor-only homes to keep them safe as they continue to recover and build confidence. They can be adopted in pairs or individually.
