Story
Harley is a pretty girl who is very affectionate with people. She is litter box trained but does not like a dirty box, she will go outside the box if it’s not clean. She is deaf so please keep that in mind. She would do well in a home with no other pets where she gets all of the attention as she gets jealous and can be aggressive to other cats. Harley was left with me by a coworker who was moving. I have two other cats that are well bonded and they don’t get along. She would be great with someone who spends a lot of time at home who needs a companion. I can’t say if she is good with children because I’ve never seen her around them but she does love human affection.

Story
Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopted out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in a foster home for about 3 months and is thriving now. She has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to pictures with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a calmer cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Meet Coral - A survivor - In The New England Area Adoption Fee: $199 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Coral is an 18-month-old dilute calico with a heartbreaking past but a hopeful future. This sweet girl was rescued from an awful situation when some very cruel boys tried to get their dogs to attack her. Thankfully, a kind person intervened, scooped her up, and brought her to safety with our rescue. Because of what she went through, Coral is understandably fearful of dogs. She would be happiest as an only pet, which makes her the perfect companion for someone who just wants one very special kitty to love. Despite her sad past, Coral’s spirit shines through. She is friendly, gentle, and warms up quickly once she feels safe. She has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the right family to give her the forever home she deserves. Coral is living proof of resilience—and now she’s ready for the happy ending she should have had all along. Could you be the one to give Coral her second chance? Story
When her family moved, Stormi lost the only world she understood, the home she felt safe in disappeared overnight. The familiar smells, the routine, the people she loved, gone. Now she sits at the rescue, scared and unsure. She looks tough because she’s protecting what little heart she has left. But this isn’t who she truly is. We were told that in her home, Stormi, who is 7 and a half years old, was loving. Affectionate. Right now, she’s grieving. She’s overwhelmed. She’s trying to be brave in a place that feels nothing like home. Stormi needs an experienced, patient heart. Someone who understands that trust isn’t given, it’s earned. Someone willing to sit quietly and let her come forward when she’s ready. Someone who sees past the hiss and recognizes the hurt. Stormi needs love. The kind that waits. The kind that stays. The kind that doesn’t leave again. If you have a calm, gentle home and the patience to help a grieving girl remember how to trust, Stormi will give you something extraordinary in return, the kind of love only a once broken heart can offer. Let’s give Stormi the ending she deserves. 💙 To meet Stormi in her Cambridge foster home, please fill out the pre-screen by copying/pasting the following link into your browser: https://bit.ly/3yRGpMD Be sure to check our Instagram @brokentailrescue for updates!

Story
This lovely girl is one of the nicest cats you'll ever meet. She not only loves her people, but is social with visitors as well. She was surrendered by her owner after she let her outside and she got hit by a car, and she could no longer afford her care. While Mandy just turned 9 years old, don't be fooled - she acts half her age. During the day she plays with her toys, and has no trouble jumping on the kitchen counter to play in the sink - yeah, we're working on that. She spends most of the day looking out the window and watching all the critters run around, but from the safety of her cat tree. At night she enjoys sitting with her person on the sofa watching TV or being gently brushed. Watch your hands - she loves to give lots of those sandpaper tongue kisses! She is showing early signs of mild kidney disease, but it's easily managed by feeding her a high quality canned food-only diet. Her bloodwork showed significant improvement from when she was first surrendered, so one of our consulting vets believes that good nutrition will keep her stable for some time to come. In her original home she did live with a large number of cats but she was not a big fan of interacting with them. She does okay with one of the cats in her foster home, so she probably could live with another cat after a slow and careful introduction. However, Mandy is not one to cuddle with another cat, she prefers to save that for her humans, and loved sleeping on the bed next to her original mom.. Mandy is fully vetted and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225 and she is being fostered in Worcester. If you are interested in adopting Mandy, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://bit.ly/3yRGpMD
