My sister got the cat at Dakin Humane Society. The cat is calico, she is four years old, she is very friendly with adults and children. So she can go to a family. She is very playful, calm, and friendly. She, unfortunately, takes medication for feline herpes, that my sister is unable to pay for any longer. But she is a very sweet cat, who is extremely happy and good with people. My sister is moving soon and can’t take the cat with her. So we would like to find her a good home. Meet Cinnamon   Cinnamon is a beautiful medium-haired calico with a story of strength, survival, and just the right amount of sass. Estimated to be around 1–2 years old, this resilient mama knows exactly who she is—and she’s not afraid to show it.   Before rescue, Cinnamon was a familiar face around Taco Bell, doing whatever she could to find a meal. By the time she was finally brought to safety, she had already relocated to a nearby home’s crawl space—where she gave birth and successfully raised her two babies like the strong, devoted mom she is.   Now that her days of surviving are behind her, Cinnamon is ready to be someone’s spoiled house cat.   She absolutely loves pets and will happily show off her expert biscuit-making skills when she’s content. She gets along well with other cats but sets healthy boundaries—she’s not a pushover and won’t tolerate any nonsense. Meet Holly Hobby Holly Hobby is a stunning dilute calico beauty with mesmerizing golden eyes and a quiet grace that will melt your heart. Holly loves to be petted and will look at you with those eyes so that you can't help but oblige! Petting her is very satisfying because she stretches her body into your hand to get the most out of your offered pets. Holly is a gentle girl who thrives in a nurturing environment, as well as having a flare of the calico confidence. She is looking for a warm companion who is happy to hand out pets. Sneezy is a sweet, playful little girl who is a bit shy. She is bonded with her sister, Happy, and they must be adopted together. Sneezy is a bit shy and will take some time to warm up. She needs a patient adopter and a calm home that will respect her quieter demeanor and allow her to feel safe. Once she warms up to you, she is very affectionate and playful. Her foster mom writes, " It will take some time for them to warm up to you but when they do they will love you. They love running around and playing and they love to cuddle with you on the bed. Laying with me and purrrring is their favorite thing 🩷🩷" The total adoption fee for Happy and Sneezy together is $500.

Meet Echo! This handsome young boy is ready to make his voice heard—in the cutest way possible. Echo came to us as a stray, and while we don’t know much about his past, he’s made it very clear that he loves people. He’s incredibly friendly and social, always eager to greet you with his adorable little chirps as if he’s saying “hello!” and asking how your day is going. Echo is also a big fan of food (who isn’t?), and treats are definitely a great way to win his heart. Whether he’s chatting with you, following you around, or just hanging out nearby, he’s happiest when he’s part of the action. As a young cat, Echo has lots of potential to thrive in a variety of homes. He should adjust well with time and patience, though we recommend a slow introduction to any other pets to help set him up for success. If you’re looking for a sweet, talkative companion who will greet you every day with a happy little chirp, Echo might just be your perfect match. Ready to Adopt? Koda is an absolute love. He is funny, very playful, cuddly, affectionate, and very talkative. We think his markings make him look like he has bangs and he cut them himself! He was originally surrendered to Ella's Feline Rescue Mission around Thanksgiving and adopted in early January. Unfortunately, while his new family loved him a lot, a household member developed life-threatening allergies and thy had to return him. When he was first with us, he did very well with other cats, but this time around, he is having trouble getting along with other cats, especially females. We would prefer him to go to a home with no other cats, but we think he would do well with another cat (especially a male cat) with a long, slow, careful introduction. Koda is very affectionate and also has high energy. He needs a home with people who will play with him a lot. He would be a great family cat, especially for kids with a lot of energy who want to run around with him.
