Athena is a beautiful 5-year-old calico cat with the sweetest personality. She is one of the most gentle, loving cats you’ll ever meet. She loves coming up to people for attention, making biscuits, licking your hands, and purring nonstop. Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move, and previous financial struggles, we have to make the heartbreaking decision to find her and our other cat a new home. Athena is wonderful with children of all ages and has lived in a busy household with kids. She also gets along well with other cats, although she tends to prefer having her own space.She can do well with dogs as long as they are calm, respectful, and don’t constantly bother or provoke her. We are looking for a loving, permanent home where Athena will be cherished as part of the family, preferably in the Cape May County area so we can feel confident about where she’s going. Background checks will be performed to ensure the safety of where she is going.We are looking for the BEST home for her!

Adopt Lidia Lidia is a young adult tortie and white female. She is 1-2 years old. She was turned in to the local shelter in early March VERY pregnant. She had 5 kittens on St. Patrick’s Day and was a super mom to them. She’s now fully vetted, spayed, and it’s now her turn to find a home. Lidia is super people friendly. She loves attention and to be pet. She purrs and flexes her paws making “air biscuits” over and over. She sits next to you seeking attention, more than on your lap. She’s low key but will happily play if you get out a toy and encourage her. While she was great with her kittens, she has been less certain about other cats in limited interactions. We believe she would adjust to another calm cat, given proper gradual introduction and acclimation. But she would also be quite happy to be an only cat and soak up all the attention she can get from her human family. Charlie Girl is sweet and playful, she enjoys being brushed, watching TV and looking out the window seeing the birds. Her adopted mom became ill and her family took her cats to a county shelter. Because Charlie was micro-chipped, the shelter notified us that she was surrendered. We made arrangements to pick her up with the other cat we adopted to her named Grayce. These two beautiful, sweet girls (Mom and daughter) were living in someone's shed along with 2 other siblings. They were being fed and loved but the people could not afford to get them spayed, so we offered to help. All 4 have now been spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea treated, wormed and tested for v feline leukemia and aids ( both negative).
