Story
Abigail was rescued from the street while she was pregnant with NINE kittens. Sadly, she lost the kittens, but remains one of the sweetest souls who is enjoying her new life indoors. Abby is very friendly and approaches you when she wants attention as she is very affectionate. Sometimes she will join you for a cuddle on the couch. She doesn’t mind dogs but may do better in a home as a single cat. Abby is negative for FIV and feline leukemia, spayed, flea and worm treated, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. She is ready to spread some love in her forever home! If you were interested in adopting Abby, please fill out an application at Castawaycatsde.com.

Story
Crystal and a bunch of other cats were living in an alleyway in a not so good part of town. They were multiplying out of control and being threatened by some non cat loving people. We were asked to help, and when we went out there were a lot more than we thought but we did the best we could to try to get as many as we could. Surprisingly enough they were all pretty friendly and very sweet. They now all are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for fvrcp and rabies, flea and worm treated and tested negative for leukemia and AIDS. Now they are looking for new permanent, inside homes. If you are interested in Crystal or any of our other castaway cats please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
Gary Cuddles is a female loving cat who needs a loving friend. Gary came by the name because her meow sounds like Gary from Spongebob. Gary is quiet and content and likes to keep to herself, but loves to be petted. I cared for Gary while a friend was relocating. I can no longer care for Gary, as I am unable to bring her to my new location. She is a docile loving cat with a deep soul

Story
Head and chin rubs, please!!!  Meet Coral, my beautiful tabico foster.  Coral came to me after having her left leg amputated, to gain her confidence living without a leg. Coral has come such a long way. Having her leg amputated has not slowed her down at all. She jumps, runs, plays without issue. Coral loves: food and treats, soft toys she can easily grab and cat nip. To see her growth and love grow over the last 3 months has been amazing. She went from a cat that did not really interact with me to jumping and running to me when I walk in her room. She lights up and meows at me until I pet her. Coral loves being having her head and chin rubbed as she sits there purring away.  To her future adopter: Please be patient with Coral as she adjusts to her new surroundings. She was very reserved at first, but within a month, she was playing, laying on the couch with me and loving life. Coral also loves her own space and laying in windows. She may enjoy being an only cat; however, Coral has been introduced to resident cats. She is unsure at times but only hisses, but with time and patience, I believe she would adjust perfectly fine with another laid back cat that gives her space. She does okay with my one resident cat that comes into her area. That’s because he just wants to be in the space and doesn’t bother her. Coral is playing with her foster family.  Please ask to meet her and have some playtime!  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Joanna S.)  May 2, 2024, 6:12 am

Story
Lap Cat Alert!!  Super sweet and friendly Izzy was a neighborhood stray.  She looks very happy to be in the care of Forgotten Cats and enjoyed playing with her new feline friends in one of our big cat rooms.  Also, Izzy is happy to snuggle up on your lap, soaking in pets and affection.  She is estimated to be 8-10 years old. Izzy's story:   Izzy was found on the streets of Delco looking like she was desperate for our help. Drooling from her mouth, we knew she needed dental care. The way her skin hangs loose around her lower jaw the vet could tell she had sustained a traumatic mouth/jaw wound at some point. Even still, Izzy was taking the BIGGEST mouthfuls of food once she was safely at our shelter. She was absolutely starving. The neighbors suspect Izzy was a kitten by the size of her thin frame. Sadly, she was just malnourished.  Izzy had dental surgery upon intake and is feeling SO much better. No more drool! A spring in her step!  Upon intake, Izzy’s skin was covered in thick scabs and sores. Her fur was riddled with lice and fleas. After treatment she’s feeling and looking SO much better, but she is now on a prescription diet food to keep the remaining itch at bay.  Izzy is now playing with her new foster family.  This outgoing and gentle kitty is great with other cats and children. She takes NO time to warm up. All she needs is an amazing family who will never let her suffer like she has on the streets. No kitty deserves that.  Please submit our no-obligation adoption application for a meet and greet or to adopt:   https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/ .   Thank you!  (Foster:  Noelle/Karen S.)May 2, 2024, 6:12 am
