Story
My mom had Lexi for 2 years and sadly she recently passed away. I have had Lexi ever since, I love her but my other cats do not get along with her. She can be shy, very sweet and sadly she hides most of the day because of them. She doesn’t have any behavior issues, doesn’t scratch furniture or bite, does extremely well with the litter box, etc. She will meow once every now and then but is quiet almost all the time. Shes also great at night time. I would keep her but I’ve seen her much happier in a home without other cats or dogs. Shes around 4 or 5 years old and she does like to eat wet or dry food, she prefers to eat larger meals just twice a day or just to be free fed dry food. She’s not super anxious about eating. She can be very shy at first but she does like affection & doesn’t mind being picked up and will snuggle. Shes great with all humans including children! She enjoys being touched and loved on.

Story
FOR ADOPTION AT MAYS LANDING PETSMART. This regal lady is Snickers, and she is as sweet as her name's sake. Her back story is a little sad as she was put outside with her friend Oliver, near a colony of cats when her owners acquired new kittens. As unbelievable as that sounds Snickers was fortunate to be noticed and rescued by the feeder of the colony and brought to rescue. This easy-going girl is looking for a sunny window and a new chance at a loving home. Snickers is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for felv and fiv. Come meet this girl at PetSmart Mays Landing. An adoption application can be filled out online at FOSOCAS.org or in person at Mays Landing PetSmart.

These two beautiful, sweet girls (Mom and daughter) were living in someone's shed along with 2 other siblings. They were being fed and loved but the people could not afford to get them spayed, so we offered to help. All 4 have now been spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea treated, wormed and tested for v feline leukemia and aids ( both negative). The other 2 have been adopted but Coco and Momma Mary are still available and would love to come home with you! If interested, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com Thank you!

Story
Come meet Briar Rose!!  She is a calico with gorgeous markings.  We are thinking she is between 3 to 5 years old.  I must say though this girl loves to play.  Her favorite is chasing her feather string toys. Most of the day Briar Rose spends sleeping in her window bed or watching out the window as life goes by outside.  She has a laid-back personality and loves being pet and brushed.  If you scratch the sweet spot just above her tail – that’s it - you’re friends forever.  Briar Rose lived with a few other cats in her foster home as well as an extra-large dog. Briar Rose seems to be indifferent with the other cats and cautious with her movements around the dog. She loves people and getting all the attention.  Could Briar Rose fit into your family? Briar Rose is good with: Children:  Yes, but I would suggest older children. Cats:  Maybe. Briar Rose seems to avoid the other cats in her foster home. It doesn’t seem like she is looking for any feline friends at the moment.  Dogs:  Briar Rose currently lives with an extra-large (100 lb +) dog. She seems to be cautious around the dog but non-confrontational. But I think she would be okay with a smaller dog or one that is not interested in playing with her. Briar Rose was playing with her foster family. Briar Rose is now playing in our Jenkintown PetSmart adoption center. Please stop by to meet her! Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster: Sonia G.).February 4, 2026, 5:12 am

Story
Hi, this is Butters. The sweetest and most lovable baby girl. She was from a littler under my neighbors porch that I brought into my home September 18th 2024 at about 3 months old. Her mom got hit by a car and died when they were a few weeks old and so my neighbor helped feed them and gave them a little shelter. Fortunately people around the neighborhood were getting them little by little. When the second to last got picked up i couldn't leave her out there alone with cold weather approaching so i took her in, although I have 2 sister cats from a litter in my old neighborhood and had no plans to get anymore cats so shes been here since. My orange cat did not like her from the very beginning and would always run up to her to scare her or smack her. This went on for a while but had been getting progressively worse and breaking out into full fights with my 3rd cat beginning to fight with them as well now. She needs a home where she feels safe and free to walk around without the fear.
