Precious is an outside cat who was brought inside after having a litter of kittens. In a short time she has learned to love being brushed and doesn't mind being petted. If you sit near her you can put her in your lap to pet or brush her. She is shy around new people so she'd need some time to adjust in a new home. She is OK with other cats​. No dogs or small children for her at this time.

Kitten series vaccines, rabies and spay/neuter and microchip. Kittens over 6 months of age are $50 (no additional discounts) **Sneak peek kittens can be viewed on our FB Group CATS Resort. We try to post as much as possible on social media for your selection purposes. *We only hold kittens (OVER 8 weeks of age) with a full adoption fee paid (non refundable if you cancel) otherwise, we pass up other potential adopters for a "on hold" kitten, only to find out they changed their minds and we missed a window of opportunity.        You can submit payment once your application is approved and the kitten has been deemed medically stable.        If the kitten you are interested in is NOT 8 weeks old, we ask that you do not send payment until their medical health has been stabilized.             **Payments can be made through our website, Paypal as friends & family to avoid a service fee                             (  CastAsideToSurvive@gmail.com ) Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle or our website. Once we know when the surgery date is, we ask that you arrange a quick kitten vet appointment per our adoption agreement, we will schedule the finalization) Banister Veterinary Hospital, local to us, 845-331-1050 is very accommodating for this!        We recuperate 2 days post-operatively before medically releasing them to their new FURLESS homes. *When the adoption process is finalized in person, there is a binding contract that needs to be reviewed and signed. Our contract strongly indicates a vet appointment within four days of adoption. Please make your vet appointment as soon as we are discussing the adoption date, as we do not do diagnostic testing. We provide health records at that time. We do routine immunizations, preventative care for internal and external parasites and treat symptomatically. *This is a slow process. We are two women and the rescues in our care are priority. Mothers and babies, plus field trapping, being on the road, fundraising for medical costs, handling social media, emails, calls and more....sorry, please be patient. These can go solo or to a home with other pets (unless noted) - they all have potential for being therapy cats too! Let's talk about all of them individually: Baker - this incredible 20 wk old comes from an incredible foster who made him pretty much perfect - complete super lover - great with dogs cats kids and just being the typical cat dog everyone loves! Playful and snuggly - wow! Beetlejuice and Lydia - these 4 mo old Maine Coon Forest cat mixes are chocolatey delights - sweet as sugar and snugglier then the snuggliest. The love each other and would be great together or can go separate at this age - either way they are truly the best in every way Adam, Otho, CharMan and Maxie Dean - 8-10wks old ADORABLES - Siamese Bengal Bombay mixes - but who cares about breed when each is sweeter than the next - too small to bo solo cats but adore all other pets and kids too! We are getting FILLED up with the cutest kittens! Our fosters are FULL and many kittens are now big enough to be adopted. They are anywhere from 8 to 12wks old so SOME are TOO SMALL TO GO as SOLO pets to a home unless u already have a young cat in your home - so have to be paired up. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! *SOME OF THESE KITTENS ARE NOT SPAYED AND NEUTERED UPON POSTING!* Dory Darla and Nemo - these tiny 10-12w old siblings could not be any cuter or sweeter - summer delightsl! they have been raised with so much love and can't wait to cuddle and kiss u all over! Huffle Puff and Bean Boozle - 8-9 w old floofy floof Calico Tortie bonded twins - super hilarious - non stop love and kisses - video on request - they are SO friendly funny and sooo sooo much fun and love all wrapped up in Rainbow colors! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! Again some of these babies are TOO SMALL to go solo so u must have another young cat in the home or adopt in pairs. All kittens no matter what age, do not grow up with the best behaviors without another cat to help them esp during their tween months. Meet our “Artist” Litter: Frida Kahlo, Anna Boch, Selma Burke, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Jackson Pollock! These sweet five-month-old kittens come with a sad story…they were found, along with their mother, as strays and brought into a local vet hospital where sadly they learned that mom was positive for leukemia. Unfortunately, three of her five babies also tested positive, and yes, while their lifespans will be shorter, they are still so deserving of loving homes! Frida, a stunning calico, is extremely sweet and an affectionate gal. She is gentle, gives kisses, and also loves to play with your hair. She has been FIV/FELV tested and is negative. Anna, the other gorgeous calico, loves to cuddle. She’s also a bit water-obsessed and likes to watch water drip from the sink and shower. Anna also yearns for adventure and likes to climb. She also does great with dogs. While she is positive for leukemia, it is not transferrable to dogs (only cats). Selma is an all-black beauty! She loves to give kisses and is as sweet as can be! She is the adventurous one, always scaling the baby gates in the home and running into the living room to explore. She’s also fearless around the dogs. Georgia is an adorable brown & white tabby. She loves to play, even with your hair like her sister, but is gentle. She’s negative for feline leukemia. Jackson, the only boy in the litter, also loves water like his sisters and will even come into the shower with you. His black coat is so soft and he’s also a big cuddler. Ideally, we would love to find a home for Frida and Georgia together (the negatives) and have Anna, Selma, and Jackson (the positives) adopted in pairs or separately to homes with no other cats. Dogs, however, are ok. We are happy to share more about feline leukemia for anyone interested. They’re also great with kids so a family would be perfect for these kitties! Their adoption fee is $250 each and Frida Kahlo, Anna Boch, Selma Burke, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Jackson Pollock are vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered when of age so you must return to our vet in Bethel, CT for that appointment.
