Calico kittens & cats in Kingston, New York

Houdini & Loki are two bonded cats who have been a wonderful part of our family. They are sweet and cuddly and talk a lot at dinner time. They love to be picked up and petted and Both live up to their names. We have had a recent change in our family situation and can no longer give them the care and attention they deserve, so we are looking for another family who can love them. Both cats have stomatitis which causes irritation of the gums. Houdini will undergo surgery to have all his teeth extracted in the next week which should heal his condition. Loki has it but is not impacted the same way. We got them through a lovely rescue service in 2021. Any family would be lucky to have them. ❤️

Hi! I’m Pinky! N-A-R-F! Okay okay, that’s not my whole name. But Foster Mom says I’m the Pinky to my sister Brain, and honestly? She’s not wrong. Brain’s the boss. She uses her voice for very important announcements. Like “I NEED WET FOOD NOW” and “WHERE IS MY HUMAN??” She learned her name and now she runs the whole house. Or she thinks she does. Me? I’m in charge of friendship. I told Brain my new best friend is Bianca, one of our foster's "resident" cats. We spend HOURS in the cat room. Swatting toys. Sharing secrets. Discussing very important kitten business. Brain thinks she’s supervising us. We let her think that. My favorite time of day is dinner time. Not because of dinner. Pfft. That’s when I start my official Campaign for Snuggles & Human Food. Foster Mom says “no.” I say “narf” and try again. And again. The word “no” is just a suggestion, right? Here’s the deal on me vs Brain: Brain = CEO of the house. Must know where humans are at all times. Excellent communication skills. Loud communication skills. Pinky = Director of Cuddles & Good Vibes. Will melt into your lap. Will accept snacks as payment. Will question the meaning of “no.” We both agree on 3 things: Snuggle time is the best time. We’re professional couch potatoes. Olympic-level curl-uppers. Will keep your legs warm and your heart full. We LOVE toys. Wand toys? Chase them. Crinkle balls? Bat them. Your toes under blankets? Investigate them. Big Kitty is actually pretty cool. Foster Mom says her name is Hope and she’s a dog. We say she’s Big Kitty and she’s our friend. So yes — we’d do great in a home with a calm dog! Or, you know, a Big Kitty. We’re looking for: Our forever home. Together. We’re a package deal — Pinky & Brain, take it or leave it. But why would you leave it?? Respectful kids? Yes please! Hi everyone! Brainy here!I know, I know… it’s been a while! But in my defense, I have been VERY busy. See, I can see SO much better now, and apparently that means there are approximately 47,000 things I need to investigate at all times. Foster mom says trying to get a picture of me is basically a full-time job.I’ve also discovered my new favorite toy: a stuffed bow tie pasta! I don’t know why foster mom thinks this is funny. It is SERIOUS BUSINESS. When I have my pasta, I make sure the entire house knows about it. I have become quite the little chatterbox when it’s playtime.Pinky, on the other paw, only uses her voice when she has an extremely important announcement… usually, “FOSTER MOM, HOLD ME.”Pinky has also discovered her favorite activity: movie night with foster mom! Her favorite movie is The Lion King, which honestly explains a lot. I think she secretly dreams of running wild on the savanna. Meanwhile, I’m more interested in running wild through the living room. Foster mom calls me “a very good girl who is just… super fast.” I prefer “athletic.”We have been SO busy developing our personalities, and let me tell you, we are quite the pair. We love being held, playing, wet food time (OUR FAVORITE), and basically anything that involves being spoiled.So naturally, we have one very important question…HOW ARE WE STILL IN FOSTER CARE?!Our dream forever home would have:The biggest kitty tree imaginableLots and lots of wet foodTreats, obviouslyAll of our favorite toysSuper-soft blanketsA BIG bed for maximum snugglesAs for me, I’m the wild one. Foster mom says I’m a little hesitant around shoes and new people, so I need someone who will be patient while I figure out this whole “life with two big eyes” thing.But once I’m comfortable? GAME ON.I get along with all my foster siblings, and I LOVE to eat. My absolute favorite place is the couch. If foster mom sits down, I’m immediately there. I love jumping onto her, getting right in her face, and giving her little nose nudges. Because obviously that is how you say, “Hello, I missed you for the entire 12 seconds you were sitting there.”And then there’s my sister Pinky. She is my complete opposite. She LOVES attention and has absolutely no problem requesting it. She knows when it’s bedtime, she loves joining foster mom on bathroom trips, and she has discovered the joys of the bathroom splash pad.Foster mom says we are two very sweet, very good girls and that our time will come. News flash! Leaked from the Pez Factory! The newest trending collection of Pez flavors, limited edition set & no restocking, are now available - exotic flavors featuring Asian Pear!  Possibly the most DRAMATIC flavor, this alluring, spicy girl is looking for a highly sophisticated, specialized home. She's ravishing, no doubt, that soft beautiful calico coat calling for pets, but, NOT YET!   Any Pezhead will need to add a flavor or two to their collection and you'll need to act fast, Pezmania is right around the corner once word of these exotic flavors break!   But this exotic flavor is for just the right Pezhead, the family that knows she's watching, learning, waiting and will come into the collection on her own terms. Asian Pear was rescued with her family from outside the Pez factory and is currently assessing her new display area, a foster home, and is checking out the toys (fun!), the bed (soft!), the food (yummy!) and the people (TBD!). She would do very well to stay with an exotic flavor sibling or have a young, playful cat in her forever home. Asian Pear would do best in an adults only home or with older, respectful children. SHE IS VERY TIMID!   Act fast, these specialized flavors won't be available for long! As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive.  They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc).  Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog. Hi, my name is Polly Pocket, Polly for short, This is me when my foster mom first got me, she said I look like some sort of weird rabbit lol Maybe, but I don’t see it ‍ she called me Polly Pocket because I once fit in the palm of her hand and was only a half a pound at about 7 weeks old. I had several brothers and sisters and we were all in a box together. Some lady my foster mom didn’t know took the box of my brothers and sisters and let me loose in the warehouse because she said I was ugly! She wasn’t very nice, I was scared and really missed my brothers and sisters but then my new foster mom caught me! I did try and bite her at first, but I was scared! She was so nice though and held me tight and told me how pretty she thought I was, so it wasn’t long before I loved her and she gave me lots of kisses. She took me to see the doctor and the doctor gave a quick look and told her that I didn’t have any eyelids, but that’s what gave me my unusual beauty. I was also kind of sick, I have trouble breathing and snort (foster mom thinks it’s cute) it has taken a while for me to grow in size, she had me with younger kittens but they started to grow and I didn’t …. So she moved me again because she didn’t want me to get hurt when we played to rough lol I told her I could take care of myself!  So she found me the purrfect playmate, a huge boy named Swat! He swats everyone but me, he takes care of me.  But everyone thinks its time for me to find a loving home so I can know more of the world than Swat. Meet Georgette, a beautiful calico kitten who looks just like her mother. This sweet girl is a bit more timid than her siblings and prefers affection on her own terms. While she may not enjoy being held, Georgette has her own quiet way of seeking attention and companionship when she feels comfortable. Georgette loves to play and can often be found chasing cat toys or wrestling with her kitten siblings. Her playful spirit shines once she settles in and feels at ease. With patience, understanding, and a loving home, Georgette is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. Gazpacho is an adorable, soft, and sensitive man with big eyes and a big heart. He has a fuzzy, grumpy face on the outside, but a gentle and compassionate personality on the inside. He may need to be shown some extra compassion and patience to begin with, but once trust is established he looks forward greatly to your companionship and will climb in your lap to receive affection. He loves head rubs and when you speak to him in a loving voice. He has shown a more reserved nature in shelter, but in the comfort of your warm home, is likely to blossom into his true self and display all of his charms and preferences once he has settled in.
