Precious is an outside cat who was brought inside after having a litter of kittens. In a short time she has learned to love being brushed and doesn't mind being petted. If you sit near her you can put her in your lap to pet or brush her. She is shy around new people so she'd need some time to adjust in a new home. She is OK with other cats​. No dogs or small children for her at this time.

Once we know when the surgery date is, we ask that you arrange a quick kitten vet appointment per our adoption agreement, we will schedule the finalization) Banister Veterinary Hospital, local to us, 845-331-1050 is very accommodating for this!        We recuperate 2 days post-operatively before medically releasing them to their new FURLESS homes. *When the adoption process is finalized in person, there is a binding contract that needs to be reviewed and signed. Our contract strongly indicates a vet appointment within four days of adoption. Please make your vet appointment as soon as we are discussing the adoption date, as we do not do diagnostic testing. We provide health records at that time. We do routine immunizations, preventative care for internal and external parasites and treat symptomatically. *This is a slow process. We are two women and the rescues in our care are priority. Mothers and babies, plus field trapping, being on the road, fundraising for medical costs, handling social media, emails, calls and more....sorry, please be patient. Meet our “Artist” Litter: Frida Kahlo, Anna Boch, Selma Burke, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Jackson Pollock! These sweet five-month-old kittens come with a sad story…they were found, along with their mother, as strays and brought into a local vet hospital where sadly they learned that mom was positive for leukemia. Unfortunately, three of her five babies also tested positive, and yes, while their lifespans will be shorter, they are still so deserving of loving homes! Frida, a stunning calico, is extremely sweet and an affectionate gal. She is gentle, gives kisses, and also loves to play with your hair. She has been FIV/FELV tested and is negative. Anna, the other gorgeous calico, loves to cuddle. She’s also a bit water-obsessed and likes to watch water drip from the sink and shower. Anna also yearns for adventure and likes to climb. She also does great with dogs. While she is positive for leukemia, it is not transferrable to dogs (only cats). Selma is an all-black beauty! She loves to give kisses and is as sweet as can be! She is the adventurous one, always scaling the baby gates in the home and running into the living room to explore. She’s also fearless around the dogs. Georgia is an adorable brown & white tabby. She loves to play, even with your hair like her sister, but is gentle. She’s negative for feline leukemia. Jackson, the only boy in the litter, also loves water like his sisters and will even come into the shower with you. His black coat is so soft and he’s also a big cuddler. Ideally, we would love to find a home for Frida and Georgia together (the negatives) and have Anna, Selma, and Jackson (the positives) adopted in pairs or separately to homes with no other cats. Dogs, however, are ok. We are happy to share more about feline leukemia for anyone interested. They’re also great with kids so a family would be perfect for these kitties! Frida, a striking calico with a heart as beautiful as her coat, is the epitome of sweetness and affection. She's known for her gentle nature, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. She’s a silly girl who likes playing with your hair and getting as close to you as possible. Unfortunately, Anna received that same diagnosis. Anna has a heart as colorful as her fur! She is the most laid-back member of her litter, known for her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and purrfect cuddles. She loves to be close to you, especially when you’re asleep, finding comfort in being right by your side. While Anna is perfectly content to let her siblings take the lead, she’s always ready to join in on the fun and games. She’s a bit water-obsessed and likes to climb. Her playful antics and sweet purrs will keep you entertained and feeling loved. She gets along wonderfully with other cats, dogs, and kids but due to her diagnosis must be adopted to a home with one of her littermates or no cats at all as leukemia is contagious to other kitties. 🌼DIABETIC DELIGHT🌼🐾 Meet Mama 🌸 a little special needs lady looking for a forever family to keep her on track to the best years of her life.Mama is about 9 years old & has been recently diagnosed with diabetes. She has handled her new protocol at life very well and is adapting and feeling so much better now that she is being regulated.Diabetes sounds like a scary thing but let us tell you why it's not & how easy it is to care for a special needs girl like mama!Every 12 hours she is given insulin by injection, with an extremely small needle 💉, she is fed pate wet food only, her water intake and attitude is monitored to make sure she is "feeling herself" & that's really it. She will always need regular vet visits with blood work and continued care but that is what every kitty should have!Mama is looking for a foster to adopt or a foster to get back into a home of a regular house cat. Puma is one of our longest residents. He came from shelter in Rockland County, which was overcrowded. He absolutely needs to lose some weight, which is difficult in our free- range environment.
