Story
Houdini & Loki are two bonded cats who have been a wonderful part of our family. They are sweet and cuddly and talk a lot at dinner time. They love to be picked up and petted and Both live up to their names. We have had a recent change in our family situation and can no longer give them the care and attention they deserve, so we are looking for another family who can love them. Both cats have stomatitis which causes irritation of the gums. Houdini will undergo surgery to have all his teeth extracted in the next week which should heal his condition. Loki has it but is not impacted the same way. We got them through a lovely rescue service in 2021. Any family would be lucky to have them. ❤️

Story
Precious is an outside cat who was brought inside after having a litter of kittens. In a short time she has learned to love being brushed and doesn't mind being petted. If you sit near her you can put her in your lap to pet or brush her. She is shy around new people so she'd need some time to adjust in a new home. She is OK with other cats. No dogs or small children for her at this time.

Story
Hi! I’m Pinky! N-A-R-F! Okay okay, that’s not my whole name. But Foster Mom says I’m the Pinky to my sister Brain, and honestly? She’s not wrong. Brain’s the boss. She uses her voice for very important announcements. Like “I NEED WET FOOD NOW” and “WHERE IS MY HUMAN??” She learned her name and now she runs the whole house. Or she thinks she does. Me? I’m in charge of friendship. I told Brain my new best friend is Bianca, one of our foster's "resident" cats. We spend HOURS in the cat room. Swatting toys. Sharing secrets. Discussing very important kitten business. Brain thinks she’s supervising us. We let her think that. My favorite time of day is dinner time. Not because of dinner. Pfft. That’s when I start my official Campaign for Snuggles & Human Food. Foster Mom says “no.” I say “narf” and try again. And again. The word “no” is just a suggestion, right? Here’s the deal on me vs Brain: Brain = CEO of the house. Must know where humans are at all times. Excellent communication skills. Loud communication skills. Pinky = Director of Cuddles & Good Vibes. Will melt into your lap. Will accept snacks as payment. Will question the meaning of “no.” We both agree on 3 things: Snuggle time is the best time. We’re professional couch potatoes. Olympic-level curl-uppers. Will keep your legs warm and your heart full. We LOVE toys. Wand toys? Chase them. Crinkle balls? Bat them. Your toes under blankets? Investigate them. Big Kitty is actually pretty cool. Foster Mom says her name is Hope and she’s a dog. We say she’s Big Kitty and she’s our friend. So yes — we’d do great in a home with a calm dog! Or, you know, a Big Kitty. We’re looking for: Our forever home. Together. We’re a package deal — Pinky & Brain, take it or leave it. But why would you leave it?? Respectful kids? Yes please! More laps for snuggling.Lots of love + attention? Required.Snacks? …Did I mention snacks? We’re sweet. We’re playful. We’re affectionate. We’re one-of-a-kind. We promise love, laughter, purrs, and just a little bit of chaos. The fun kind. I’m Pinky. She’s Brain. We’re ready for you. N-A-R-F! That means “pick us” in Pinky. - - - -  You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. Story
Hi, my name is Polly Pocket, Polly for short, This is me when my foster mom first got me, she said I look like some sort of weird rabbit lol Maybe, but I don’t see it ‍ she called me Polly Pocket because I once fit in the palm of her hand and was only a half a pound at about 7 weeks old. I had several brothers and sisters and we were all in a box together. Some lady my foster mom didn’t know took the box of my brothers and sisters and let me loose in the warehouse because she said I was ugly! She wasn’t very nice, I was scared and really missed my brothers and sisters but then my new foster mom caught me! I did try and bite her at first, but I was scared! She was so nice though and held me tight and told me how pretty she thought I was, so it wasn’t long before I loved her and she gave me lots of kisses. She took me to see the doctor and the doctor gave a quick look and told her that I didn’t have any eyelids, but that’s what gave me my unusual beauty. I was also kind of sick, I have trouble breathing and snort (foster mom thinks it’s cute) it has taken a while for me to grow in size, she had me with younger kittens but they started to grow and I didn’t …. So she moved me again because she didn’t want me to get hurt when we played to rough lol I told her I could take care of myself!  So she found me the purrfect playmate, a huge boy named Swat! He swats everyone but me, he takes care of me.  But everyone thinks its time for me to find a loving home so I can know more of the world than Swat. Story
Lucille is the Bluth family's overly critical matriarch, for a calico THAT makes purrfect sense. She is the queen of acidic one liners, keep tabs on everyone to let them know when they step out of line.  When her children get rowdy, which is often, she is quick to deliver biting sarc... oh no, just biting. She spent the first several months fawning adoringly over her babies, but now that they could all have jobs instead of living with her, she is a little less tolerant of their shenanigans.  She does still enjoy exercising with the kids, as she has kept her figure from her days as a U.S.O. dancer during Vietnam. She likes to show off her acrobatics and will go wild for toys. Mesh wands, strings, long wavy wand toys and chasing balls are some of her favorite pastimes. She also likes watching birds on television and looking out the window.  Lucille is very affectionate, coming over for pets or sitting next to you, also for pets. However, she is not above reminding you about the sharp teeth in her mouth if you touch her where she’s doesn’t want and of course that changes so just be mindful. She can get sassy during play times or if she disapproves of something you've done (because it was stupid of course). She’s told her foster mama "I should buckle my belt, not my chair" with her bossy attitude. But that is just a little and for her disappointing children, but the rest is energetic playtimes and affection.  She loves head scratches and will close her eyes and let you rub her forehead and face.   All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. ##2797307##

Story
Possibly the most DRAMATIC flavor, this alluring, spicy girl is looking for a highly sophisticated, specialized home. She's ravishing, no doubt, that soft beautiful calico coat calling for pets, but, NOT YET!  Absolutely not yet!  Maybe never at all, but she's a beauty and loves other cats!  So she truly is a great companion kitty for a lonely cat or with her brother, Guava.  But on her own or to sit in your lap, nope, this flavor needs to be mixed with something sweet to tempt her to even come on the bed near you. Still this exotic flavor is for just the right Pezhead, the family that knows she's watching, learning, waiting and will come into the collection on her own terms. Asian Pear was rescued with her family from outside the Pez factory and is currently assessing her new display area, a foster home, and is checking out the toys (fun!), the bed (soft!), the food (yummy!) and the people (TBD!). She would do very well to stay with an exotic flavor sibling or have a young, playful cat in her forever home. Asian Pear would do best in an adults only home or with older, respectful children. Have we mentioned SHE IS VERY TIMID!   Any Pezhead will need to add a flavor or two to their collection and you'll need to act fast, Pezmania is right around the corner once word of these exotic flavors break!   What to expect with a Spirit Cat like Asian Pear: - They are great with other cats!  They are used to living with other cats, bond easily with other cats, get and give comfort to other cats.  - They live in your home, but are rarely seen -  visitors will probably never see them. They are cats who live with you, and who may sometimes grant you the opportunity to touch them. Or, they may not.  They may never be comforted by your touch, though over time, with patience and care, one day often something switches and they find you are their true person.  Still don’t expect them to magically turn around into a social house cat with everyone else.  Though, they may choose to hang out near you, or sleep on the bed with you at night.- They are a fine choice for situations where you don't have a lot of time to devote to a pet - most of these kitties do not need or want much attention from people.  They will not be a good choice for busy homes, including those with children.- These timid cats are not feral, they are shy for a variety of reasons but are comforted by being indoors.  Still what you see is what they will be like for a long time, maybe always. Some will change more than others, but be prepared for what you see now.
