If you sit near her you can put her in your lap to pet or brush her. She is shy around new people so she'd need some time to adjust in a new home. She is OK with other cats. No dogs or small children for her at this time.

Clearly Archie's favorite, Betty is as darling as her namesake; sweet & pretty, an absolute love bug ready to cuddle right up next to you on the couch. Betty is as resilient as she is sweet, surviving outside as they did. And, Betty was never one to turn down solving a mystery, so let's help her solve the mystery of finding her forever family. She'll follow the clues right to her new home, so let's help her out and fill out an application! Betty needs to be with a young, playful cat (perhaps her brother or sister? ...both?) and would do well with respectful children. Betty really was the girl next door, living life as a stray in a backyard. Along with her brother, Archie, and sister, Veronica, Betty was saved by a student who asked her teacher (who happened to be a trapper friend of ours!) for help and is now safe inside in foster care! Taylor was rescued in Bridgeport alongside her siblings — Jeremiah, Conrad, and Isabel — and she has been blossoming in her foster home. Taylor is a playful and curious little girl who loves to chase toys and wrestle with her kitty friends. She absolutely adores other cats and would be happiest in a home with a feline companion to help boost her confidence. If you’re looking to adopt two, she is especially close to her foster brother, Jeremiah (orange & white), the other last kitten remaining. While she can be a bit skittish if you approach her too quickly, Taylor has a soft and tender heart — walk toward her gently while she’s cozy in her cat bed, and she’ll roll right over for sweet belly rubs. Charlene was discovered at an abandoned restaurant with a collar severely embedded under her arm. After undergoing two surgeries, she has fully recovered. From the very beginning, she showed her rescue foster how thankful she was. However, Charlene has experienced trauma during her time on the streets, and as a result, she needs to be the only cat in the household. She may be a one-person cat, showing a preference for trusting females more than males. Due to her past experiences, she may often greet strangers with a hiss. However, if she chooses you as her person, she becomes truly affectionate, loving to curl up in your lap or snuggle with you in bed. Charlene is very food motivated but requires a special limited ingredient diet. She is estimated to be 3-5 years old and still enjoys playing with wand toys, as well as mice, balls, and springs. Don't forget to provide her with scratching posts and condos that she loves. Charlene is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped. She will need an experienced cat adopter who has no children or other pets.
