Calico kittens & cats in Beacon, New York

Precious is an outside cat who was brought inside after having a litter of kittens. In a short time she has learned to love being brushed and doesn't mind being petted. If you sit near her you can put her in your lap to pet or brush her. She is shy around new people so she'd need some time to adjust in a new home. She is OK with other cats​. No dogs or small children for her at this time.

We rescued Allie and brought her in to foster her with the potential of adoption. Our existing 13 year old cat does not get along with her at all no matter what we try. Allie is 9 months old and was born in October of 2025. She had a rabies shot and was fixed in January of 2026. I believe she would get along with other cats and would definitely be children friendly if she had the opportunity and time to warm up to you/your children. She never bites or shows any kind of aggression. I do pick her up periodically and while she was very skittish and cautious in the beginning, she now stays put in my arms and allows me to pet her. She’s lovable, sweet and very playful once she does warm up to you. As she is still young and skittish, she would probably be best suited for someone that has or had cats in the past. If you have any interest in her, I would need vet references before the adoption could take place. Thank you!

Great with kids and other pets and just so much fun. They are funny playful and gentle all in one. Just wow kitties! Stuart - poor 14-16wk old Stuart came to us as a tiny tot with a horrible eye infection that was left untreated by his original family - he was only a tiny baby (see photo) but thankfully we were able to get him great medical care. His eye looks goofy now for life, but it just gives him character. He is super duper sweet friendly. Loves Minnie his foster bff. Minnie - this 4m old rainbow kitten is just now old enough to go solo AND just so happy friendly and bff to all. She loves having a buddy too. Raised in foster with Stuart - they are the best of friends. She is super social so it's like having a dog by your side! Wow! Cardinal is a smushy cuddly love muffin - OLD ENOUGH TO GO SOLO! We had an EMERGENCY shelter evacuation this week due a local NY shelter being beyond full and putting MANY cats at risk. All are super special and super lucky - each and every one angels. They are anywhere from 10 to 25 wks old so some are still too small to be solo pets to a home UNLESS u already have a young cat in your home - but many are big enough to go solo. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! Note this group does have spay neuter discounts and lower donations EXCEPT if they are the fluffiest as those have waitlists. SOME are bonded so please read below. .Cardinal and Wren - a pair of cuties that were our rescue partner's fav! At 12-16 w they are old enough to go solo. Mom was SOOO sweet that one of the shelter's volunteers had to adopt her so u know these 2 are extra special. Fixed happy goofy and great together or separate. Gentle lovers Meringue and his buddies Romeo and Cosgrove - at 12-16 w these 3 super handsome boys are all fun and games. Wrestle time?! Of course! Cuddle time?! Always! They can go separate but all need a buddy at home as they are too active at this age to go solo without driving u crazy. They love as hard as they play - great with all pets and kids Fig, Kiwi and sis Plum - our tiny trio (babies of momma Checkers) are gentle and SOOOO sweet and gorgeous like mommy. They are cuddle bugs and happy gentle and playful. All are still a little small to go solo, but all are ready for a new home and are great as pairs. Arcadia - at 12-16 w this gorgeous gal can go solo but wow is she a playful goofball. U would think she was a boy with that kind of happy spunk. She is soooo funny and sooo sweet and u cannot pass by her without her giving u a head boop and a hi five. SOOOO much fun! Totally gorgeous TABBY! With her piercing green eyes and beautiful stripes, she is definitely a pretty cat. And her whiskers are impressive! TABBY is a gentle girl and curious girl. She wants to see what you are up to, but prefers to get to know you from afar. After an hour or so she often decides you have passed her test and will let you meet her properly. Once you are friends, she will arch her back and ask for pets. TABBY has some good kitty friends that she likes to snuggle with, so she could be a good option for a household that already has cats. She was born in 2016. We know shy cats do not show well to potential adopters, but they still have so much love to give to the people they bond with.

Who wants a lap cat??? ORIGAMI is your girl!! She climbs on for a snuggle as soon as you sit down (and is very successful at distracting volunteers as they clean). This adorable young lady is about 1 and a half old and the sweetest thing. She enjoys seeing people, even strangers, and getting lots of pets from them! She is timid in new places but looks to people for comfort and love. She likes to play and will roll around on her back for ear scritches. She was born December 2024.

This curious girl is cute as a button and has a lovely, little white locket on her chest. We can often find MAGGIE snoozing on the window seat looking extra pretty. We think she has the softest fur of any kitty we have ever known. It is silky smooth and she likes pets once she’s gotten to know you. MAGGIE likes to hang out with other kitties and though she’ll run up with the kitty welcome committee to say hello to her favorite people, she tends to be skittish with new people. She would be a great addition to a home that already has kitties and for someone who is looking for a quiet, sweet girl. She was born in 2015.
