Calico kittens & cats in Beacon, New York

Precious is an outside cat who was brought inside after having a litter of kittens. In a short time she has learned to love being brushed and doesn't mind being petted. If you sit near her you can put her in your lap to pet or brush her. She is shy around new people so she'd need some time to adjust in a new home. She is OK with other cats​. No dogs or small children for her at this time.

Meet Stella, a sweet four-year-old cat with a heart full of love and a talent for making friends wherever she goes. She’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and always happy to share cuddles or gentle head bumps with her people. Stella also gets along wonderfully with other cats, making her a perfect addition to a multi-cat home or a loving first companion.

I got this pet through a friend, she is about 1 and a half years old and her name is baby. She loves to cuddle but also likes to be alone, she can be pretty independent. I’m looking for in a new home someone who understands cats and will care and love her. She is cuddly, and cautious.

He is a LOVER LOVER LOVER and raised with love in a home that sadly couldn't keep him after they moved. Perfect first cat or 100th cat! POSSIBLE THERAPY CAT. He is Fiv+ - this is NOT felv or fip which are fatal - he needs no meds and can live fine with other cats and live normal life. So please don't let that be an issue as it is a non issue with him :) Fuega - 12m old supermodel goddess has all the qualities of a Van mix - beauty love and joy - not super huge but still can grow. She is a gem of gems and seems to adjust rapidly in all types of homes. Old enough to go solo and truly gorgeous. Def a fav of all who have met her. Gentle lover and absolutely stunningly gorgeous! Totally gorgeous TABBY! With her piercing green eyes and beautiful stripes, she’s definitely a pretty cat. And her whiskers are impressive! TABBY is a gentle girl and curious girl. She wants to see what you’re up to, but prefers to get to know you from afar. After an hour or so she often decides you’ve passed her test and will let you meet her properly. Once you’re friends, she’ll arch her back and ask for pets. TABBY has some good kitty friends that she likes to snuggle with, so she could be a good option for a household that already has cats. She was born in 2016. TABBY is a shier cat, so she will need a patient and thoughtful introduction to your home, but it will be so worth it! Since TABBY takes some time to build trust with new people, we know she might not show as well to potential adopters. ARF volunteers are happy to talk to you about her and can even share videos of affectionate behavior you may not see when you visit.

NIKO is a bigggg 8-year-old boy who loves attention and will roll around on his back for ear scritches. We think he likes to keep his eyes as wide open as possible so you can gaze upon his striking green eyes at ALL times. The volunteers LOVE this charming chunk and he always makes us lots of biscuits. He’s a goofball who likes to play and will stand up on his back legs like a human to bop a toy. NIKO also insists on sprawling on the floor in the funniest positions, with curled paws or legs stuck up in the air. He would like to be your only cat in a home with no small children. Come and meet this big smush! We know he will make someone so happy!

This curious girl is cute as a button and has a lovely, little white locket on her chest. We can often find MAGGIE snoozing on the window seat looking extra pretty. We think she has the softest fur of any kitty we’ve ever known. It’s silky smooth and she likes pets once she’s gotten to know you. MAGGIE likes to hang out with other kitties and though she’ll run up with the kitty welcome committee to say hello to her favorite people, she tends to be skittish with new people, but warms up after a few visits. She would be a great addition to a home that already has kitties and for someone who is looking for a quiet, sweet girl. She was born in 2015. Since Maggie hides when potential adopters visit, even though she's had many visitors, she's never found her forever home. Maggie was adopted once and returned because they felt she wasn’t adjusting quickly enough, despite not following our advice to ease her transition to a new place. She will need a thoughtful and patient transition to your home to flourish. We know if you give her a chance, she'll be a wonderful addition to your family!
