Calico kittens & cats in Beacon, New York

Precious is an outside cat who was brought inside after having a litter of kittens. In a short time she has learned to love being brushed and doesn't mind being petted. If you sit near her you can put her in your lap to pet or brush her. She is shy around new people so she'd need some time to adjust in a new home. She is OK with other cats​. No dogs or small children for her at this time.

They are anywhere from 8 to 25 wks old so almost ALL are TOO SMALL TO GO as SOLO pets to a home UNLESS u already have a young cat in your home - so have to be paired up. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! Gigi and Gianna - these 8-9 wk old adorable bonded sisters are CUTE CUTE CUTE omg! Gigi, a bobtail, has the cutest bunny tail that wags like a dog. While Gianna is the super model purrmaster. Both happy funny FUN and sweetest ever. They are bonded so must go together. Still way too small to be fixed at this time. Boba and Ragoon - BONDED BROS - these 11-14 wk old baby dolls are the loves of everyone's lives! So tiny so fun and so pretty - they have ALL that it takes to be your bffs forever. They are too small to be solo cats, but all set for a life in your home where they will kiss n' snuggle u non stop! Fixed and ready to go! Bonded so they CANNOT be separated. Polka and Pongo - these 20-24 wk cuties are almost old enough to go solo but why?! They really are a twin match made in heaven! Double the deliciousness and snuggles and they are so funny dorky and goofy especially when together. These babies are perfect springtime angels! These babies were all fostered in a wonderful home after they were abandoned in NY/KY at a high kill shelter and then cared for by our incredible NY and KY foster teams! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! All kittens no matter what age, do not grow up with the best behaviors without another cat to help them esp during their tween months. Philomenia loves humans and will shower you with affection. She loves to wind in and out of your legs..  Philomenia also enjoys having a human companion to watch her eat (it's a perfect meal mate date, but you have to cover the bill).  She loves to play with toys and will sit beside you for a short time—just make sure not to rub her flanks. Spotted her on my back deck July 2023. Uploaded to pawboost.com without a result to this day (no luck getting help from the local shelter either) Two choices: 1. Having a starving/sick animal living under my deck (freezing to death some months later). 2. Take her in at least for the time being. # Never climbed, or touched my screen door, since day one it appeared on my deck # Never jumps on the counter or the tables # Gentle, quiet and timid - exact opposite of high-energy/mischievous pet videos you may find on the internet

Totally gorgeous TABBY! With her piercing green eyes and beautiful stripes, she’s definitely a pretty cat. And her whiskers are impressive! TABBY is a gentle girl and curious girl. She wants to see what you’re up to, but prefers to get to know you from afar. After an hour or so she often decides you’ve passed her test and will let you meet her properly. Once you’re friends, she’ll arch her back and ask for pets. TABBY has some good kitty friends that she likes to snuggle with, so she could be a good option for a household that already has cats. She was born in 2016. TABBY is a shier cat, so she will need a patient and thoughtful introduction to your home, but it will be so worth it! Since TABBY takes some time to build trust with new people, we know she might not show as well to potential adopters. ARF volunteers are happy to talk to you about her and can even share videos of affectionate behavior you may not see when you visit.

This curious girl is cute as a button and has a lovely, little white locket on her chest. We can often find MAGGIE snoozing on the window seat looking extra pretty. We think she has the softest fur of any kitty we’ve ever known. It’s silky smooth and she likes pets once she’s gotten to know you. MAGGIE likes to hang out with other kitties and though she’ll run up with the kitty welcome committee to say hello to her favorite people, she tends to be skittish with new people, but warms up after a few visits. She would be a great addition to a home that already has kitties and for someone who is looking for a quiet, sweet girl. She was born in 2015. Since Maggie hides when potential adopters visit, even though she's had many visitors, she's never found her forever home. Maggie was adopted once and returned because they felt she wasn’t adjusting quickly enough, despite not following our advice to ease her transition to a new place. She will need a thoughtful and patient transition to your home to flourish. We know if you give her a chance, she'll be a wonderful addition to your family!

NIKO is a bigggg 8-year-old boy who loves attention and will roll around on his back for ear scritches. We think he likes to keep his eyes as wide open as possible so you can gaze upon his striking green eyes at ALL times. The volunteers LOVE this charming chunk and he always makes us lots of biscuits. He’s a goofball who likes to play and will stand up on his back legs like a human to bop a toy. NIKO also insists on sprawling on the floor in the funniest positions, with curled paws or legs stuck up in the air. He would like to be your only cat in a home with no small children. Come and meet this big smush! We know he will make someone so happy!
