Story
Peigi is a fantastic kitten who loves nothing more than to be with her human as much as possible. She craves attention and would do well as a solo kitty. She’s not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be picked up, but loves attention and will engage with you and reward you with her curiosity and playfulness. If you’re looking for one princess to spoil, or if you have another calm and laid back kitty in your family, Peigi could be the perfect addition. Story
Scarlet came to Paw Prints as a skinny new mom. Her kittens were less than 10 days old.  She's a good mama but does not care for other cats.  So she's a bit of a diva and named after Scarlet O'Hara from Gone with the Wind. Scarlet is great with her foster mom and very demanding of delicious canned food and attention. She's a beauty with attitude.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org January 6, 2026, 11:42 am

Story
Simba has been part of our family since she was a tiny kitten, adopted from a close friend’s litter. From the very beginning, she stood out as the calm, gentle one, but also loves to play with string and cat toys. Over the years, she’s grown into an incredibly chill and easygoing cat, the kind that makes a home feel peaceful just by being in it. Now 8 years old, Simba spends most of her days relaxing, stretching out in sunny places, and quietly enjoying the company of whoever’s around. She’s never loud, never demanding—just a sweet, steady presence who loves head scratches and cozy corners. As our family grows and we prepare for a move, we’ve had to make the really difficult decision to find Simba a new home. She’s been with us through so many stages of life, and letting her go isn’t easy. But we want to be sure she continues to have the calm, comfortable environment she thrives in. Simba would be perfect for someone looking for a low-maintenance, relaxed cat.

Story
My mother found her wandering the roads. She decided to take her in but unfortunately we cannot keep her since we currently have 2 cats and 4 dogs, one of which is disabled. Adding this cat will be an extra financial burden for us and we are hoping to find someone who will give her a loving home. She is currently experiencing diarrhea and we are currently giving her medication for it. She is very sweet and loves to be petted. We are unsure of how old she is.

Story
Oy, I’m Roy, and I’m enjoying the luxurious indoor life. Unlike my namesake (Roy Kent from Ted Lasso!), I am outgoing and friendly. You know we orange kittens are crazily cute. I have tons of kitten energy and love to play. I hope you have lots of toys because I’m a bit of a toy hog! A companion to wrestle with would be great, too! Once I’m all tuckered out and ready to wind down, I do the cutest thing – suck on the tip of my tail like a pacifier! I would love a warm lap where I can curl up, purr, and suck on my tail-“paci” after a long play session. Are you interested in adopting this kitten or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
(Cole has been in foster care with JCAPL since May 2023. He is being sponsored by an anonymous donor to cover a portion of his adoption fee to help him find his forever home). Cole is a beautiful black kitty. He was found at his foster mom's workplace with his sister. He loves his cat tree, and he loves canned food. He likes attention but does not always seek it. He should become more affectionate in a home of his own. Cole gets along with other cats after a patient introduction. He is energetic, sweet, and ready for his forever person. He will definitely blossom in a home of his own. Cole has a sponsor, which means he has a reduced adoption fee. Are you interested in adopting Cole or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
Sylvie is a smaller girl. She was born in October 2023. She was a very skittish kitten, and her foster mom kept her a little longer to work on bringing Sylvie out to shine. She is still a bit shy and can get startled easily. She likes love on her terms. She does not like to be pursued, but she will come for love when she is ready. She jumps up on the bed every morning for pets. She loves other cats and likes her foster mom's dog. She is very playful and loves toy mice. She would probably be best with no young children and a kitty sibling or two to play with. She will take some adjustment time, but she is sure to blossom once she is comfortable in a home of her own. Are you interested in adopting Sylvie or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org.
