Story
(Special Adoption Fee) My name is Hunter, and I am a beautiful tabby boy. My estimated date of birth is mid-March 2017. My mom was a feral kitty that lived at a junkyard, but some nice folks helped me escape that life. I am a little bit shy at first, but I love to receive attention which will only make me sweeter. I love belly rubs! I get along great with all my foster siblings. I am ready for my own home now! Are you interested in adopting Hunter or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center). We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. Thanks for thinking adoption!

Story
(Special Adoption Fee) Mamaria is a long-timer with JCAPL and there is no reason why she should not be adopted. She is estimated to have been born in 2018. She was part of a feral colony, having litter after litter of kittens. JCAPL took them in and found homes for her kittens. Mamaria does her own thing, mostly. She loves canned food and is not an over active kitty. She loves to hang out in the cat trees. She can also be flirty and likes a gentle belly rub now and then. She gets along great with other cats. Mamaria is a low-effort cat and would fit right into a low-energy household. While Mamaria's kittens have all been adopted, it is now her turn to shine. Please consider giving this beautiful, sweet girl the loving home she deserves. She has a sponsor, which means she has a special adoption fee. Are you interested in adopting Mamaria or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Greetings, hoomans! I'm the one and only Creamsicle!  Listen, I've got a confession to make – I may seem all sweet and sophisticated, but I've got a touch of shyness in my paws!  It's just that life brought me to Bailey's Human Rescue, and I've been waiting for my purrfect family to come and whisk me away to a furrever home for more than THREE WHOLE YEARS! Can you believe it?  Now, don't be fooled by my "serious cat" vibes. I've had my fair share of epic adventures, battling pesky medical stuff like a true superhero!  But thanks to those amazing rescue peeps, I emerged victorious and stronger than ever!  So, here's the deal – when we first meet, you might think I'm a little shy, like a kitten playing hide-and-seek. But once I warm up to you, I'll be a purring machine, giving you ALL the affection you can handle! You see, I'm the kind of kitty who enjoys lazing around with you, binge-watching cat videos on the interwebs – I'm a connoisseur of that stuff!  Now, here's the scoop – I need someone with the patience of a saint and enough love to share with a furry little creature like me. Trust me, it'll be worth it! I'll keep you entertained with my antics, turning your life into a never-ending comedy show!  If you're up for the challenge and you think we could be the puuuurfect match, let's get together and make some magic happen!  Help a cool cat like me out, and share this post with all your buddies! Let them know that I'm looking for a silly, fun-loving family to call my own. Let's do this, furrever homes, here I come!  https://www.baileyshumanrescue.org/former-community-cat

I march to the beat of my own drum, and I'll accept your affections on my own terms. Just give me a little space, let me warm up to you, and voila! You'll witness the magic unfold! Sure, I might not snuggle up on your lap, but I'll be there by your side, a silent observer with a heart full of love and curiosity. I'm all about the simple pleasures in life – soaking up the sun, lounging in cozy spots, and gracefully navigating the room with my toothless grin stealing hearts left and right! Story
Dolly is 6 months old according to the vet. Been tested for FIV and FLV and was negative. Treated successfully for ear mites and worms. She needs to be spayed as it looks like she may be pregnant. Our cat Smokey will not accept Dolly. She stopped eating and drinking and we rushed her to the vet, who said the stress of Dolly being introduced was too much for her, so we are looking for a loving home for Dolly. She was a stray when we took her in. She is extremely sweet and loving, even with people she just met. Loves to cuddle and sleep in bed with you! Purrs and chirps and looks at you with the sweetest baby face! We fell in love, but our Smokey can't accept her. Dolly uses the litter box with no problem and is a real doll baby!

Story
Found as a young struggling mom during a large scale Trap/Neuter/Return effort, we saw something in her that just wasn’t feral! Although she can still be shy at times, this pretty girl with the unusual mustache (is that an oxymoron?) and the silky coat has become quite a little house cat! She is still learning the ropes and will require someone who is patient and loving, but knowing you are giving her a home and enjoying the love she gives in return will be your reward.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org March 25, 2024, 7:20 pm

Story
Truly an Angel, this sweet kitty lived outside for several years having several litters of kittens. Thankfully an older gentleman provided food for the homeless kitties dumped on his property. He contacted Paw Prints and Angel came to us with her little “mini me” kittens. An excellent momma, she’s looking for her happily ever after home. Angel had dental surgery to remove several bad teeth, resulting in her little pink tongue occasionally sticking out. Angel is an affectionate, gentle and calm companion to her foster home. She will thrive in her own home where she doesn’t need to share the love and attention she deserves.   For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org March 25, 2024, 7:20 pm

I’m a black beauty named Sassy Sally. I’m a tad shy at first, but it does not take long for my sassy nature to come through. I love soft beds and cuddling up with my foster buddies. I have a window where I watch birds and squirrels. It's my cat tv. I am good with other kitties and would do well in a home with another kitty.  For more information and to complete an online application, please visit www.pawprintsrescue.org March 25, 2024, 7:20 pm
