Story
Sora is a sweet cutie pie. She was born in spring of 2025 so she is about a year old. She gets along with other cats but has to have adjustment time and would be fine as an only cat. She is full grown and petite. She LOVES to be with her human and prefers chest sitting to lap sitting. She is very fond of canned food, and she is fine around her foster’s dog. She is a princess ready for her own kingdom. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? I was named after a comic superheroine princess who is outgoing with a bubbly personality. That is me! When I was at the shelter, I made sure everyone got to know me. I love to eat wet food, play with toys and other kitties, and climb cat trees to look out the window. If you are looking for a love bug who has lots of energy and love to give, I hope you will consider me! ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
Honey is a very trusting and sweet kitty, and her fur is extremely soft to touch. She comes to you for petting and affection. Honey will let you hold her but only briefly--she wants to play instead. She is silly when she runs and slides across the floor batting a toy ball which she will pickup and carry in her mouth. She loves all toys, but balls are probably her favorite. She also enjoys quiet time on her cat tree or lying next to you purring, snuggling, and gently nursing a blanket. She has not experienced dogs in her foster home, but would likely do as well with dogs as she does with her foster's other cats. Honey is also a fighter! At 6 months old, she was taken to an ER Vet due to her foster's concerns over loss of appetite. Although otherwise asymptomatic, she did test positive for a mild, early onset case of Feline Panleukopenia (FPV). She only needed to be hospitalized overnight for fluids, came home the next day, and has now recovered completely, which hopefully means she now has lifelong immunity to FPV. Honey is vaccinated. She would do better in a home where she can be the only cat due to the possibility she could shed the FPV virus in the future. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Kevin is the curious kitty! What's in the fridge mom? Can I eat that? Mmmm I like that, I don't want to share it, noooo, ohhh ok if I must. What's this toy? Let's play with it. The way to make friends with Kevin is with a string toy and some cottage cheese! Kevin loves to play with other kittens and cats. He also likes to play with toy balls and mice. He cuddles with his brother and other foster kittens--he's definitely a great buddy for a cat that needs a bestie. He's litter trained; and we estimate born about 4/26/25. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
(Cole has been in foster care with JCAPL since May 2023. He is being sponsored by an anonymous donor to cover a portion of his adoption fee to help him find his forever home). Cole is a beautiful black kitty. He was found at his foster mom's workplace with his sister. He loves his cat tree, and he loves canned food. He likes attention but does not always seek it. He should become more affectionate in a home of his own. Cole gets along with other cats after a patient introduction. He is energetic, sweet, and ready for his forever person. He will definitely blossom in a home of his own. Cole has a sponsor, which means he has a reduced adoption fee. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
Sylvie is a smaller girl. She was born in October 2023. She was a very skittish kitten, and her foster mom kept her a little longer to work on bringing Sylvie out to shine. She is still a bit shy and can get startled easily. She likes love on her terms. She does not like to be pursued, but she will come for love when she is ready. She jumps up on the bed every morning for pets. She loves other cats and likes her foster mom's dog. She is very playful and loves toy mice. She would probably be best with no young children and a kitty sibling or two to play with. She will take some adjustment time, but she is sure to blossom once she is comfortable in a home of her own. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this or another JCAPL pet you have seen?
