Story
This petite girl is one of a kind. She was outside and unwell until she found a kind stranger to help her (DOB ~6/1/25). He got her well and brought her to JCAPL. He knew she would go to a loving furever home. Rosie has 4 foster brothers and keeps up with them, often starting the shenanigans (you can see a large dog claw in her resting photos). Nothing stops her from romping and playing. She also races them to food and digs right in. The dogs in the house don't scare her in the least. She just lets them be dogs. And she doesn't forget her humans. When she's ready to snuggle, she'll jump on your lap, make some biscuits, and then nap with you. She also sits and watches TV. Some nights she'll sleep right next to you. Watch your heart, because she will steal it in an instant. She's a little girl with a huge spirit. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
Kevin is the curious kitty! What's in the fridge mom? Can I eat that? Mmmm I like that, I don't want to share it, noooo, ohhh ok if I must. What's this toy? Let's play with it. The way to make friends with Kevin is with a string toy and some cottage cheese! Kevin loves to play with other kittens and cats. He also likes to play with toy balls and mice. He cuddles with his brother and other foster kittens--he's definitely a great buddy for a cat that needs a bestie. He's litter trained; and we estimate born about 4/26/25. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
Rory is mama's gentle kitty. This sweet boy has an old soul. He loves to play with his fosters and kitty toys, and he joins the older cats looking out the window. He also takes his long snoozes with the big cats on mama's bed. When mom comes into the bedroom and spies how cute he is, Rory is happy to get some loving. He purrs while his head is being scratched and walks back and forth looking for lovies. While Rory loves to eat, he's the last one to chow down. He waits for the other cats to dig in and then eats his food. If you are looking for a gentle little guy to share your home with, Rory is the bestest little boy! ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? This orange and white bundle of fun isn't sure he's all cat. He loves hanging with the dogs and tries to groom them. He also tried to go on walks with them till his foster mom explained he is inside only. The outside world isn't safe for this little cutie pie. Archie is very playful and has lots of playmates in his foster home. Archie will tear through the house chasing his foster kitties or chasing a ball. After he gets all his playing done, he loves his humans. he waits right outside the shower door when His foster mom takes a shower so he can get some love. He doesn't even get upset if some water rains down on him. This little guy was born to be someone's best buddy. You will love what great company he is! ***PLEASE NOTE*** Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? She is a very calm, sleepy, nice, and loving cat. She is an indoor cat she only goes outside when she wants to eat grass. Overall she is a very loving cat. And will definitely win your heart.

Story
Hi, my name is Mac-N-Cheese. You get one guess how I got my name. My kittenhood was rough! I was rescued from under a bush where I was crying and very frightened. I had yucky fleas and about a week later, I had to have surgery to take care of a bad spot on my leg. I hated that cone! After that, my life improved greatly. I had other kitties to play with, beds and boxes to sleep on, and plenty of food. I still love a box! I am a little shy around strangers and will need a patient, understanding family to love me. If that is you, please consider me. Are you interested in adopting Mac-N-Cheese or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
I may be Bitsy, but I am not Itsy. I have grown up and an over-the-top affectionate and loving kitten. I want as much attention as you can give me, and I will give just as much back. Small toys that can be carried are fun. I sometimes pretend like I am on a hunt when I catch the toy. Let me tell you about the ball in the circle toy. Yes, I like this toy too. Can I tell you how much of a snuggler I am? I will curl right next to you and purr you to sleep. Then I may go to sleep too. Do you have a queen-size bed for two? Story
(Cole has been in foster care with JCAPL since May 2023. He is being sponsored by an anonymous donor to cover a portion of his adoption fee to help him find his forever home). Cole is a beautiful black kitty. He was found at his foster mom's workplace with his sister. He loves his cat tree, and he loves canned food. He likes attention but does not always seek it. He should become more affectionate in a home of his own. Cole gets along with other cats after a patient introduction. He is energetic, sweet, and ready for his forever person. He will definitely blossom in a home of his own. Cole has a sponsor, which means he has a reduced adoption fee. Are you interested in adopting Cole or another JCAPL pet you have seen?
