This tiny little 5-6 pound girl is waiting for her purrfect person. She is shy to start out with and needs a patient loving person to give her a small safe spot to acclimate in so she can become the lover girl she is when she feels safe and loved. She does great with other cats and has been around mellow dogs. She likes to have a cubby/hammock/spot to hang out and watch things from before she comes out for attention. Despite her tiny size, she has some sass when scared but that dissipates with treats and her knowing you are not going to hurt her. Born Dec 25, 2015. 15 lbs. Has retained her claws. Spayed. Microchipped. Shots up to date with Brookwood Veterinary Hospital. LC (Lil Calico) is a watch cat and "pet picture of the week" winner. She notices the small things in life. Literally. Her favorite toys are shadows and barely visible items she finds on the floor. It looks like she is batting and dancing around nothing. She may hiss and soft paw powpow at first meeting, but becomes very affectionate. She will pull my one hand to pet her while I am already petting her with the other. Loving little kitty looking for a furever home. Unfortunately this kitty was left by my ex. I don’t know where she got it from. It has been living with myself and two daughters for 2 years we have a dog and 2 other cats. This kitty seems to thrive being an only cat in the household.

He is 3 years old. He can be very sweet and cuddly, he loves to play, but does have some fierceness to him. He is having issues with what I think is territorial marking. Prior to my new living situation he had no problems at all. I have a roommate with a dog and I cannot keep him here in this environment. I am not in a financial position to move and I just feel absolutely horrible. I listed no adoption fee because I truly want him to have a loving home where he is comfortable and well taken care of.

Diane is a 2 year old dilute calico torbie who came to the rescue with her sister as mom to nine kittens. She has finished her mom duties and is ready for her forever home.  Even though she is two years old, she plays like a kitten with balls, laser light toys and teaser toys. Diane loves attention and is happy sitting in the window bird or squirrel watching. She would do great if adopted with one of her kittens or will do great on her own. We acquired Cardi at Orange County Animal Shelter in NC. Cardi is about 8 years old. Looking for a lovable home with no cats, no dogs, and no small children. Cardi has a gentle soul, loves to cuddle and is very relaxed when being held. She takes a little time to acclimate to strangers initially. Since having children Cardi has started marking our floor, but we believe this is stress induced from small children (4 year old son and 11 month girl). I feel like a quiet home with plenty of love will suffice her needs

Luther is a handsome panther who just turned 2. He and his litter mates were born in their foster home. They have all gone on to their furrever homes and Luther wonders why noone has wanted such a handsome boy such as himself.  He is a little on the shy side, but has really come out of his shell over the past few months. His bestest buddy is his foster brother Puff, but he gets along with most of the other cats. Sometimes he needs to be redirected when he's not taking cues from his foster sibs. He's never seen a dog, but he would probably be fine with one. He's also never been around children, so that might be an adjustment for him, but not out of the question. He almost always looks concerned, but he loves to play with the other cats and with toys. He's also been caught chasing his tail on occasion. He will jump up on the ottoman, but he's not really a cuddler and doesn't care much for being picked up and held, but will allow it. He would do fine alone or with other cats. This handsome dude is a real charmer.  After being abandoned by his previous owner when she suddenly moved out of the country, he joined his foster family and made sure everyone knew he was the boss!  He is fine with other cats after a slow introduction, but would probably prefer to be a one and only.  When he was examined by the vet, it was discovered that he had a significant heart murmur.  It does not slow him down at all.  He is so sweet, full of life, lots of fun, and craves attention from humans.  The hope is that he will grown out of the murmur, but if not, he may not live as long as we would love to see.  He deserves a wonderful life with a loving human, regardless of his condition and he will be a wonderful companion for some lucky somebody!  Do you have the heart to share your home with this super cat? This sweet little girl was part of a colony of cats and was found one day off all by herself looking very hungry and sick.  She was rescued and taken into a foster home where she has been treated like royalty!  Sweet baby has CH, cerebellar hypoplasia, and has trouble walking and balancing, causing her to fall over.  She is very healthy, happy and will live a normal life with a few adjustments to accommodate her special needs.  She  loves other kitties, loves to play with toys and likes to wrestle, but is pretty quiet and calm most of the time.  If you have a place in your heart for a special needs kitty, this sweetheart will not disappoint.  She is pretty awesome!
