✨ Meet Bella — A Brave Mama Ready for Her Own Happy Ending ✨ Bella’s story is one of heartbreak, courage, and incredible transformation. This beautiful calico girl gave birth during a rainstorm, tucked into a pile of leaves because she was too afraid to enter the nearby shelter provided for her. By the time Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR was called to help, only one tiny baby had survived — and Bella was doing everything in her power to keep that little one safe from the cold, the weather, and lurking predators. At first, Bella was labeled as feral, but we quickly learned the truth: she wasn’t wild — she was terrified, exhausted, and fiercely protective of her baby. She was skin and bones, her body too depleted to keep producing enough milk. For the safety of her kitten, the baby had to be moved to an experienced bottle feeder, and Bella’s heart broke. Her confusion showed as a mix of deep affection and sudden aggression. But with time, patience, and gentle care, Bella is healing. A week later, her predictable, loving side is now shining through. She adores other cats and has a nurturing spirit — grooming them, cuddling them, and wanting to care for anyone she thinks needs her. Bella has been fully vetted and is now ready for the one thing she has always tried to give: love, protection, and a forever family. Rehoming our cat due to changes in living situation. Her name is Scardey and her name pretty much says it all. She’s a pretty skiddish cat that doesn’t give a lot of physical affection. She’s is vocal and likes to be around us but doesn’t really like to be touched or handled. We’ve worked with her a lot and she’s come a long way, it’s just not in her personality to be very affectionate. She’s a very sweet cat and doesn’t require much. We are sad because she’s part of our family, we’ve had her since she was a kitten and she was born in our home. We just are unable to keep her as our living situation has changed.

Moon was given to me as a 2 week old kitten by a concerned friend, that found a litter of kittens by her house. At the time, she had a severe double eye infection, and my friend didn’t have the money or knowledge to take care of it. I got Moon the medical care she needed and continued the additional care she needed after. I took Moon in at a time when I was taking care of another litter of 4 kittens by a stray I just started to care for a couple weeks prior. After a month, most of the kittens found homes, and we decided to keep Moon and one kitten from the litter of 4 making our house a 4 cat home. Over the past 5 years, Moon has tolerated the other 3 cats, but doesn’t enjoy being around them, even more so this past 6 months. All health issues have been ruled out. We feel that she would thrive in a household as the only animal. She is a loving, and loyal cat. She loves attention when she decides she wants it, but will also give you space.
