Tamala is a good Samaritan surrender to a local vet hospital. She is sweet and shy. They asked us to help her and we agreed. She is a gentle girl that enjoys snuggling with other cats so will do best in a multiple cat household. She can take a bit of time to feel settled in. Having another cat to show her the way would make her world so much better! Once she feels "home", she enjoys pets and a good plate of wet food. Would you like to meet her? Meet Trixie! Trixie has come such a long way since arriving at the shelter. In the beginning, this beautiful girl would hiss and keep her distance, unsure of the world around her. Now, she confidently walks over to people, asks for pets, and has discovered that affection can actually be pretty wonderful. But Trixie is also very honest about her boundaries — when she has had enough attention, she has HAD ENOUGH! She gives little warning signs when she’s becoming overstimulated, and anyone lucky enough to love her will need to respect her signals and understand that she prefers affection on her own terms. And getting her into a carrier? Let’s just say Trixie has very strong opinions about that too! Trixie would thrive as the one and only pet in the home. She wants to be queen of her castle and soak up all the love for herself. Because she can still become overwhelmed easily, she would do best in a calm, quiet home without other cats, dogs, or small children. I was found on the Ravenna Trail, doing my best to take care of myself.  But I’ve learned that life indoors—with cozy spots and kind humans—is so much better. I’m a beautiful calico girl, with soft patches of color that make me just as unique as my personality. At first I can be a bit shy. New places and new faces make me a little unsure, so I like to take things slow. But once I feel safe, my sweet side really shines. I love gentle pets, quiet companionship, and just being near someone who cares. I get along well with other cats, so I wouldn’t mind having a feline friend—or I could be perfectly happy as your calm, loving companion. I was given hybrid by a friend who could no longer keep her in her home. I am looking for someone kind and gentle who loves lots of cuddles because that’s exactly who hybrid is. She’s very shy and easily scared around other animals and children but I’m sure with a little patience she will be okay. She has never scratched me and she loves to be loved on. She’s silly at times once she warms up. Hybrid is not spayed and I am not sure how old she is.
