Calico kittens & cats in Mount Vernon, Ohio

I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County in an effort to find me a permanent home. I was found in June of 2024, starving and desperately trying to care for my one-week-old baby. We had no place to go and no one to take care of us until the HSofMC stepped in to help. We spent some time in foster care but now I am ready to go to my furever home. I am sweet, affectionate and love scratches and cuddles. I’m excited to find a family of my very own. Here are my highlights: • I am an adult spayed female most likely born in 2022/2023. • I have been wormed, negative tested for FLV/FIV, vaccinated with the Felovax or FVRP vaccine and rabies vaccine. • I am microchipped. • I am good with other cats but have not been dog tested. • I am very sweet, loving, laid back and affectionate. Tiny, what a petite and sweet little girl. And so beautiful too. This sweetheart is shy at first but opens up when you spend some time with her. This little girl has been a favorite of mine, she's just a quiet unassuming sweetheart. Very low key too. She'd do best in a quiet home with adults or a family with older children.

I took Honey in over the summer to give her a temporary home while her owner found new housing. The owner is not returning to get her. She is house trained from her previous home and has a litter box on my deck. She will not leave my deck - ever. I am allergic and cannot have her inside. She is declawed which means its urgent I get her into a home - and it is getting very cold. I have provided her shelter outside but she needs a new home please! She purs constantly and eats like a horse. She will tolerate dogs that do not mess with her. She is a lap cat :)

We have a brother and sister cat that we need to rehome. The brother is the black cat named Zelda. The sister is Bambi. We would like to keep them together since they are so close. We have a busy family and have not been able to put the time into them that they deserve. They both currently live in our heated garage. Both cats are good with kids :)

She seems to get along well with laid-back kitty friends, so she’d make a great addition to a chill feline crew. Daisy is a sweet cat. She loves to play. Sleeps most of day. Has never been outdoors or ever tried to go out. She is a good cat. We are sad we can’t keep her.

Finn is a handsome orange & white tabby, born in Feb. 2021. He’s a healthy, energetic boy w/ a big personality & an even bigger heart. Finn loves people, animals, & children. He's social, playful, & always ready for attention. He has a curious streak & a love of adventure, often found perched high up on the kitchen cabinets. Finn can be a little bossy with other cats, especially when it comes to mealtime, but he’s also affectionate and friendly once everyone’s settled in. He’s clever and persistent. He’s known to work at the latch on the cat door until he gets it open. While he’s never wandered far, he does enjoy watching the world outside and will meow or paw at the door to join you. Finn loves to play and would thrive in a home where he has toys, space to climb, and people who enjoy his fun-loving energy. We are heartbroken to rehome Finn due to worsening allergies in our household, and we’re hoping to find a loving home that will appreciate his playful, curious spirit.
