Story
DOB: January 18th, 2014 Pickles is an energetic, senior lady who enjoys playing very much. She is a talkative gal who isn’t afraid of people and loves getting a good pet. She may take a little time to warm up but once she does she’ll be your best friend. Pickles is a calm, tiny cat who has no issues with her food or the litter box. Won't you give this senior girl a home for her golden years?

Story
Found Brownie on Facebook in September 2020, when she was just a few weeks old. She is a vocal cat that talks with you, has a lot of personality and she is very cute! Would be ideal the new home to have a yard, as we lived for 2 years at a house. She likes the outdoors and stays on our balcony for hours each day.

Story
Presenting Calum! We know that he is not going to be easy to find the right home for - but he deserves a chance! It took months of intensive strategy to gain the trust of this fellow When his foster mom noticed him outside last fall, he was wearing a collar and had a complete tail. We later found out that he had escaped his carrier while enroute to the vet for a checkup and had been lost. Sometime later his tail was cut? Squished? Caught in something? Anyway, infection set in and chunks of tail started falling off, frozen to the ground. Was it gangrene? Frostbite? His foster mom was determined to get him in and get him help. For many weeks she blasted a space heater into her basement bathroom, and opened the window (under her deck) - to lure him to come in. She heated up bowl after bowl of food - and finally the day came when he was far enough inside that we could shut the door. He had a visit to the vet where the remaining tail needed to be amputated back to healthy flesh, and he's doing so much better now. Calum is still a very shy fellow. He will tolerate occasional petting and is curious about other cats but not getting along with the older resident male cat in his foster home He would be fine as a single cat, or possibly in a home with one or two gentle cats . He is about 2 years young, and is looking for a quiet home with one or two adults that will give him space to blossom into the cat we know he can be. If you think that place is with YOU, please apply online at compassionforpaws.ca Thanks!

Story
Gloria and Greyson (two grey and white kittens) Hermione and Lucas (calico and black kittens) These dynamic brother/sister duos are such a powerhouse of energy, but at the same time, are so cuddly, sweet and loving! Both are very curious, which is another way of saying that they are into everything all the time! They run, climb, and bounce off the walls, but when you sit with them, they are just little purring motors! They came into our foster home and just bring such a positive, loving and fun-loving vibe with them! They will do well in a forever home that realizes how much energy they have right now, and how much trouble they will get into! They will benefit from a home where they can safely run, explore, climb and tackle each other! They will continue to do well with their humans throwing cat balls with bells, swishing feather toys around, and providing cat climbers and scratchers, which they require so as to try to redirect them from scratching other things around the house. That being said, they are still kittens and will try to get into everything else! They will need regular nail trims. For all the energy they have, they will also need their favourite plush cat beds, along with brushing, cuddles, and lots of love from their humans. In our foster home, they have had the experience of living with 2 very calm and kind human kids, and they do very well. They have had the experience of meeting a resident adult cat, and they did a good job there, too. So far, they have not met a dog. We think because of their happy, sweet nature, they would do ok in a home that had a dog, as long as they were introduced very gradually, and as long as the dog is calm and gentle with cats. If you think these lovely kittens might be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application online at compassionforpaws.ca Thanks!
