Story
DOB: Sept 2, 2023 Wayne is a playful, food-motivated guy with a big personality and an even bigger love for toys. Ping-pong balls, springs, anything he can bat across the floor — Wayne is all in. He’s curious, active, and always ready to turn everyday objects into a game. Wayne is currently on an exclusive urinary diet due to a history of urinary crystals, and he’s doing well on it. His future home will need to be committed to keeping him strictly on this diet to support his long-term health — thankfully, Wayne makes this easy, because he loves his food. He prefers to be the only cat in the home, as he doesn’t enjoy sharing his space with other cats. In the right environment, where he can be the centre of attention, Wayne truly shines. If you’re looking for an entertaining, toy-loving companion who will keep you smiling and happily supervise mealtimes, Wayne might just be your perfect match.

Story
DOB: Feb 23, 2025 Pecane is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations in Milton. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Little Pacane is a delicate girl with an observant nature. This elegant little lady may be shy at first, preferring to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. But with patience and gentle reassurance, she begins to blossom and when you find that sweet spot under her chin, her soft purrs say everything. Pacane loves cozy cubbies where she can perch and watch the world go by. She enjoys being part of the action on her own terms, stepping out to join in when she feels comfortable. One of her most charming quirks is her dining routine, she always tests her food with a dainty paw first, just to ensure it meets her standards. She would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands that trust takes time. With love, patience, and a little space to grow, Little Pacane will reward her person with gentle affection and quiet companionship. Pacane would do great with a resident cat.

Story
Spazz is a beautiful medium haired, 11 yr old tabby. He is very loving, but he has to come to you. He has always been nervous (hence the name) but he loves hugs and to cuddle. He would be more ideal for someone who doesn’t have small children as they move too quickly for his nerves.

Story
Deere is the other half of the infamous John and Deere duo. Deere is a sweet and affectionate spayed female approximately 7 years old. She is the least adventurous of the two and prefers to spend most of her days and nights cuddled up with her favourite people, or sister-cat. She likes to go outside but doesn’t see to roam as far as John does. Both John and Deere were raised in a home with a dog who they trust and okay with without any issues, however they are more fearful around unknown dogs so may take a bit to warm up to them. John and Deere are the sweetest little pair and everyone comments on what great cats they are. We jokingly refer to them as dog-cats because they exhibit more friendly retriever type of personality than a typical cat personality. They love following you around too just like a dog. John and Deere would need a loving home that could take both of them and enjoy these exceptional well-behaved adult cats.

Story
John is one half of the duo John and Deere. John, tho given a male name is indeed a spayed female. Due to allergies, we need to rehome our sweet John and Deere. We rescued them at approximately 1 year of age where they were spayed and given all their shots. We’ve maintained all their shots and health since then. John is the more adventurous of the duo and is an avid and successful hunter. She enjoys both roaming free outside hunting or basking in the sun and the comforts of a soft, cozy warm spot in the house. She is sweet and gentle and is easy to handle and has been nothing but the most perfect little cat. She’s approximately 7 years old and is in great health. She is closely attached to her sister Deere and would they therefore would need to stay together. John and Deere would likely do best in a home with a bit of outdoor space where they are able to roam relatively safely, and would be welcome back to relax indoors.

Story
Presenting Mama Holly - (and her kids Kringle, Figgy and Tinsel!) Mama Holly has a really friendly and calm demeanour. She likes to be around people, but is not overly needy. Enjoys being held and cuddled and is rather playful when she has a companion. Would do well in a home with another feline friend, with kids or on her own only if her person is around a lot of the time. Apply online at compassionforpaws.ca

Story
Presenting - Kringle! Kringle and Figgy, are the 2 orange and white brothers and their sweet sister Tinsel is a stunning grey. This trio is full of personality and charm and their friendly and playful temperament is everything you’re looking for in a kitten. They enjoy being together with Tinsel being the most independent of the group, even though she doesn’t like to be alone, or feel left out. She enjoys being held, but is not a big fan of too many snuggles just yet. Figgy is the smaller of the 2 brothers and very adventurous and needs room to explore. Kringle is a bit more chill and will go with flow of whatever you’ve got going on. They all love a good laser pointer and playtime together. Kringle MUST be adopted with one of his siblings unless you have a kitten of similar age at home already Apply online at compassionforpaws.ca

Story
Presenting - Silver! This gorgeous fluffy fellow with the big bright eyes and the worlds softest fur came to us from a home with 10 other feline friends and 2 dogs - so he is a VERY social guy! Silver loves everybody and he is one of the snuggliest cats around! He is happy to headbutt you and curl up under your chin for a nap. His ideal home would be one with a feline friend or two, and people who are around quite a lot. He did have an unfortunate situation where he decided that eating a piece of foam might be a good idea (it was not!) and had surgery to remove the inedible foam bit. He is now back to full rambunctiousness and full of kitty silliness again. DOB June 1, 2025 Apply online at compassionforpaws.ca
