Story
Introducing Grumbles!    Female DOB: April 30,2025 Rescued from an overcrowded barn bursting with kittens, Grumbles and her presumed siblings—Amber, Autumn, and Evie—faced a daunting start in life. When Grumbles first came in from outdoor life,  she was in dire condition: fighting a severe upper respiratory infection, battling a double eye infection, and nursing a broken hind leg. Despite all odds, her fighting spirit never wavered. Thanks to her determination and gentle veterinary care—including antibiotics and a tiny cast—she made a remarkable recovery. The name “Grumbles” was lovingly bestowed upon her because, even through her healing, she let us know just how she felt with her little grumbles during treatments! Now fully healed, Grumbles is flourishing and embracing every moment of her indoor kittenhood while she patiently waits for her furever family. She is a gorgeous short-haired calico, mostly white with delicate patches of calico colour, and her intense amber eyes are windows to her affectionate soul. Grumbles embodies all the playful energy and wonder of kittenhood—she delights in running, leaping, pouncing, wrestling with her siblings, and chasing that elusive red dot. But her absolute favorite moments are spent with people; she eagerly seeks out attention, soaking up pets, strokes, and every bit of love she can get. Human touch is her comfort, and she melts into affection. You’ll often find her curled up beside one of her siblings, but she’s always first on her paws when it’s time for treats! Grumbles would thrive in a loving home where she can continue to share her days with a sibling, another kitten, or a gentle, playful young cat. Her ideal family will shower her with the unconditional love, care, and pampering she truly deserves. If you’re ready to welcome a resilient, loving companion into your heart and home, please complete our online adoption application and reach out to us. Grumbles is waiting to fill your life with love, purrs, and endless affection—could you be the one she calls her own? November 9, 2025, 6:04 pm

Story
Faerie is a very sweet girl, who came to us as a pregnant and homeless mama. She is stunningly gorgeous, and now that her babies are grown, she is looking for a new home of her own. She needs to be with someone who is home a lot and would be fine with another pet. Faerie is very well behaved and doesn’t get into anything she shouldn’t. She likes to hang out with you and talk to you, making lots of soft kitty chit chat. She enjoys a good pompom and loves to be held and have her head scratched. Her personality is slowly emerging and once she’s away from her kittens, her true playful side will shine Looking for a little magic in your life? Apply online at CompassionForPaws.ca

Story
Say hello to sweet, beautiful Dakota! Dakota is five years old and would be suited for a calm environment where she can be given the time and space to warm up and settle in. Once she comes out of her shell, Dakota is an energetic, engaging girl who loves to play with toys! Her purrfect home would be with a family with a few adults to lavish her with affection -- she is a lap cat and a cuddler! However, we do NOT recommend homes with young children or timid / nervous pets. Dakota is an assertive boss kitty who may become possessive of her human, and is sure to dominate the household. That said, she gets along fine with other strong, self-assured cats.

Story
DOB: October 15th, 2010 Pippa is the ultimate cuddle companion. At 14 years old, this affectionate and gentle girl will steal your heart with her loving nature. She’s the type of cat who knows how to make a house feel like home, curling up in her favourite spot to lounge while keeping you company. Pippa loves ribbon toys and will eagerly join in playtime, showing off her youthful spirit and surprising agility. She loves pets and will head-but you if she's not getting enough! Pippa is bonded to her buddy, Ari. The two are on a weight-loss plan to help them stay healthy, and she’s doing wonderfully so far She's grown especially fond of playing with laser toys, and will move with agility chasing the lasers back and forth. Her calm demeanour and sweet personality make her a perfect match for anyone looking for a loving, low-key addition to their home. Ari and Pippa are a bonded pair, and their dream is to find a family who will welcome them both with open arms. If you’re ready for double the love and laughter, these two are waiting for you! Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! An adoption fee of your choice is appreciated for each of these seniors, vs. our standard adoption fee of $225 per adult cat.
