Story
Shenzi is a cute little calico with pretty green eyes and a pink button nose! Shenzi is a little bundle of love! She absolutely adores attention and likes to purr and squeak when you pet her. Ear and chin scratches are her weakness! Her foster mom says she’s a professional cuddler. She is a fairly laid-back girl and can typically be found snuggled up with another kitten. But she does enjoy partaking in the daily kitten chaos! She loves to play with spring toys and enjoys chasing the wand toy. If your home needs an affectionate social butterfly, Shenzi is the kitten for you! Shenzi is very much a little shadow and loves her people fiercely! Do you work from home and need a perfect work buddy? Look no further!! **Shenzi was unfortunately born with a cherry eye (which is very rare in cats). She has had multiple correction surgeries to correct her cherry eye but this may be something to consider in future care. This does not inhibit her whatsoever, she is still the most perfect kitten!** Shenzi would do well with another kitty in her forever home (but would also be just fine being the lone cat as that means more attention from her humans!) She enjoys a good kitten nap pile every now and then too. Shenzi is in an amazing foster home that is teaching her the ropes! She is currently fostered with another foster kitten and several kids. She does great with everyone in the household and adores kids! She would make the perfect addition to any home. Shenzi is ready to fill your home with love and warmth! Story
Meet Caitlin Todd!! Caitlin is a stunning calico with brown tabby highlights! She has gorgeous hazel eyes and fun high-rise socks. She is a sweet old soul with a heart full of love. She can typically be found sitting by the window or cuddled up with her sisters. She doesn’t need much, just a quiet spot where she can watch the world go by. This sweet girl is more on the shy side and will need a patient adopter. A more outgoing kitty buddy would also help her be more confident in her forever home! Do you have a kitty in need of a buddy?? Caitlin would love to volunteer! Caitlin appreciates gentle pets and will show her content with sweet low purrs. She gets a little nervous with loud noises and new people but is slowly gaining confidence in her foster home! Sweet chin and ear scratches are the best way to show her you are her friend. She also loves to play with her toys! She is really silly and likes to grab the toys in her mouth and run away with them. Caitlin is in an amazing foster home! She is currently fostered with her two sisters, Jenny and Abbey. Caitlin isn’t bonded with any of her siblings but would love to be adopted with one! Two kittens are always better than one! She currently lives in an adult only home and does really well! We think she would excel in a similar type home environment where she can give all her love to one or two people! She is loving her foster home but is ready for a home to call her own! Don’t miss out on this sweet girl! Katy is an independent kitty that is reliable, balanced and dependable. With that said, she also has plenty of affection to give! She loves belly rubs and will lean into ear scratches. She prefers to keep her feet planted on the ground but will happily come and roll on her belly for you! Katy is a the perfect houseguest and spends majority of her days lounging. She doesn't mind if you have a busy schedule and will just kick back and relax until you're home! Addison and Katy are double without the trouble! They are affectionate, friendly, love snuggling and playing with each other. Their favorite things to do are snooze, seek out snacks, and chill in their cat tree. They would love to be adopted together! Additionally, if you decide to adopt the pair we will waive one of their adoption fees! Katy did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so her only diet request is to have soft food so she can get all her nutrients! Katy is currently living in an apartment with the resident cat and her best friend, Addison. We believe she would flourish with another cat in her forever home to befriend! Story
Meet Helena Catgaryen! This sweet, regal lady is a 2-year-old calico who will steal your heart with her gentle nature and beautiful coat. Helena, lovingly named after a queen, has a soft and laid-back personality that makes her an absolute joy to have around—especially for those who appreciate a calm, quiet companion. Helena is a purr machine who loves ear scratches and will happily let you love on her all day long. Though she’s a bit skittish around loud noises or unfamiliar faces, once she feels comfortable, she’s more than happy to receive your attention. She’s not a talker but will let out the occasional soft squeak when she’s craving a little extra love. This sweet girl is more independent than clingy, preferring to relax in a cozy blanket or observe the world from a high perch, like her favorite cat tree. Helena enjoys window watching, keeping an eye on the birds and squirrels outside. If you’re looking for a more peaceful, low-maintenance kitty who doesn’t mind a little alone time but will still curl up beside you once she’s comfortable—Helena is your girl. Helena would thrive in a quiet, serene home without a lot of hustle and bustle. She’s not a fan of loud noises or lots of visitors, so she’d do best in a calm environment where she can feel secure. She’s not a first-time cat—she’d do best with a cat-savvy owner who understands her need for space and patience. Once Helena settles in, we could easily see her snuggling up with her person in bed, purring softly as she drifts off to sleep. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing cat who will warm your heart in her own special way, Helena Catgaryen could be the perfect fit! Meet Poppy – The Sweet and Beautiful Calico Who’ll Steal Your Heart! Poppy is a stunning 1-year-old calico with a gentle spirit and a coat so soft, you'll never want to stop petting her. She is a bit cautious at first, but once she warms up to you, she becomes an absolute lovebug. Poppy takes her time to adjust to her new surroundings. But as soon as she learned that her foster family was a safe place, her true, affectionate nature began to shine through. Once she trusts you, Poppy will be all about the attention—purring, rubbing up against you for pets, and even flopping over on her side and back for all the belly pets and some extra love. She’s the kind of cat who will demand your attention when she’s in the mood for affection, and she’s not shy about showing her appreciation with happy purrs. Despite being found outside, it’s clear that Poppy has had human affection before, and we are convinced she would thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time she needs to settle in. Poppy is not only a sweet soul, but she’s also absolutely gorgeous. Her calico coat is a stunning mix of colors, and her fur is soooooo soft—you won’t be able to resist running your hands through it. Poppy is looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. She would thrive in a quiet environment with someone who can offer her the time and patience she needs to feel secure and loved. In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000+ very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.  Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $48 surcharge for transport.  DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.

Story
We think Penn was born around 2017. This chill, handsome dude is Penn. He’s a chonky (ahem! muscular!) boy whose best friend is Sally. These bonded pals must be adopted together. Penn’s interests include catnip, vibing with his girl Sally, endless chin scritches, contemplating the meaning of life, and treats. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, easy companion, look no further. Penn is ready to fill that role. Full disclosure: Penn needs to lose a few pounds. He hopes his new family can help him achieve his health goal. Although they can’t go to a home with dogs, Penn and Sally do well with other cats and might enjoy gentle, respectful children. What are you waiting for? Ask to meet these sweethearts today. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. We do everything we can do to find purrfect homes for our kitties. $100 adoption fee. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The adoption fee insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
We'll also keep you updated on Sally (with Penn)'s adoption status with email updates.

Story
We think Sally was born around 2017. Meet Sally! This friendly, confident girl excels at her job as an assistant to her foster mom. From following her from room to room, to sitting by her for hours, contentedly gazing out the window, to asking for more ear rubs, she’s a fabulous coworker. Did someone say perfect? Sally doesn’t travel solo. Her constant companion is the ruggedly handsome Penn. Sally and Penn are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Sally does have one firm requirement: no dogs, please! She was once attacked by a dog and prefers to avoid them. In her spare time, Sally enjoys playing with her collection of catnip mice, cuddling with the other foster cats, and deep philosophical discussions with her bestie Penn. He really enjoys his twice daily wet food meals, and will remind you if you're late to feed him! He likes to nap in the window or on the cat tree, and likes to watch what's going on outside. He needs a home where he will get lots of cuddles and wet food. He will do best with gentle children over the age of 5.
