Story
I’m searching for a forever home for my senior cat Bella, where she can roam free (outside/inside) and live her happiest life. Our rental restrictions and busy schedules hold her back, so I’m seeking a nurturing family to provide her the best life possible. She is kind, loving, and likes snuggles. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Bella would probably enjoy quietness ,access to outside/inside/land to explore Bella lives with my daughter (2 yrs) and our senior dog who is small (14 yrs). Bella loves my daughter and tolerates our senior dog. We are taking her to the vet for a full medical examination this week before we find her a forever home.

Story
Georgie girl is such a sweet kitty who loves snuggles, being close to her person and laying down with you after a long day. Unfortunately she is having trouble being anxious around my 6 year old son. He is great with her but any form of activity gets her nervous. She won’t come out and sadly leading to accidents as she is afraid to leave her spot. She does not have these issues around adults. She does so much better in calm environments which unfortunately is not something my family is able to provide her. She does just fine with other cats, she would just prefer to be by herself with adults who can give her the affection she craves. She is currently indoor outdoor and knows how to use a cat door as well.

Gabby is a beautiful, friendly cat. We have had her since she was a kitten - approximately 11 years. Our son’s cat allergies are growing more severe and, while a difficult decision, finding a wonderful new home for Gabby is best for everyone.

Story
Meet our sweet girl who is looking for a calm, loving forever home. We’ve had her for just over a year, and she is truly a wonderful cat with so much love to give. While she finds small children overwhelming and becomes very scared around them (even when they’re gentle), she does well with older, respectful children and is especially fond of male figures, often gravitating toward them for comfort and companionship. With an 18-month-old and another baby on the way, we know our home is no longer the right environment for her, and she deserves more peace and individual attention than we can provide right now. She is affectionate on her own terms and will absolutely let you know when it’s cuddle time. She’s chatty, loves to snuggle, and her favorite place to sleep is tucked between your legs at night. She gets along great with other cats and dogs and would thrive in a quieter household. While she’s been an indoor cat this past year, she loves being outside and would enjoy safe outdoor ti

Story
DOB: 12/26/2024 Meet Orlando Orlando is a handsome, shy boy with gorgeous markings who blossoms once he gets to know you. With patience and love, he’ll become your best friend—rolling around, reaching out for you, and hopping into your lap the moment you sit down. Orlando is a total snuggle bug who also loves playtime, especially chasing his favorite toy: the laser! He gets along wonderfully with his siblings but is very easygoing and loves cuddles. Orlando is bonded with his sister Ophelia, a beautiful tortie, and they must be adopted together to continue their special sibling bond. Sometimes, the shy ones are the sweetest, and Orlando is proof of that! Adoption Fee: $125 (kitten under 12 months) 📄 Fill out an application to meet Orlando and Ophelia: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat 📧 Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com About Silverton Cat Rescue Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All our cats live in foster homes—we do not have a shelter. All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. We are not first-come, first-served, as our goal is to match each kitty with the perfect home. Most kittens are adopted in bonded pairs, because feline companionship supports emotional and behavioral development. To ensure safe and compatible placements, adoptees are required to: • Complete an adoption application • Accept a home visit

Story
DOB 6/22/25 Adoption Special 10-21 to 10-31-25 $75 for single cat and $125 for bonded pair. Major is shy at first, and may take a while to warm up. After warming up, purrs a lot and likes being petted. Playful and energetic. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
