Story
Cleo was originally a stray we took in. She was very shy at first, but once she got to know she became so sweet. She does not get along great with other cats so she would thrive best in a single-cat household. Unknown how well she would get along with dogs but I assume it would be the same as other cats. She loves to be inside and outdoors so best to not be anyway around super busy roads. She is very well behaved and loves attention. She is about 4 years old.

Story
Niko is a quiet, Zen kitty cat. He is 14 years old, so he likes his naps. He loves getting scratched on his head, cheeks, and chin. He is very shy, but will warm up to you after a little while. (It took our neighbors several visits, but he got to where he would circle around their feet and let them pet him.)He doesn't like going to the vet or getting into the carrier, but once he's on his way in the car, he falls asleep. He loves to chase your hand under the sheet, and swat at the cat dancer. He doesn't jump as high as he used to, but he still likes to jump for it.Since he's 14 years old, he's not high energy. He's used to a relatively quiet environment, so I think he would probably do best without other pets around, although he did live with another cat for 13 years. I'm hoping to find someone who will love and care for him In his senior years. I wish it could be me, but my situation is impossible. I know he will provide comfort to someone out there. He's a beautiful, sweet kitty. 🧡

Story
Reeses is a sweet, timid cat who just wants to be loved. She would do best in a home with no other cats, as she loves getting all the attention. Unfortunately, she has been bullied by our other female cat, which has caused her a lot of stress. She gets along well with our Labrador, but it may be best for her to live in a home with no other animals. She is litter box trained and prefers to stay indoors, though she will venture outside from time to time. She is approximately 5 years old and petite. We are hoping to find her a forever home with a loving family who will give her the attention and care she deserves.

Story
My name is Killua I am a male 2 year old orange tabby. I am looking for a loving new forever home with the perfect person that can take care of me. I have the chance of having seizures but I take medicine twice a day (6am and 6pm) that prevents me from having them or makes them happen almost never. Besides the seizures I am a perfectly healthy, playful, cuddly cat that loves feathers and wands. I love head rubs and under the chin scratches. I can be left alone at home all day and will sleep and play with myself but I need to be given medicine at the desired times. I love people and kids and full of curiosity.

Story
Hazel is a beautiful girl.We have had her for about eight years. She is approximately 10 years old.She is diabetic. We give her a medicine for diabetes that is a chewable tablet. It is a prescription only, and whoever adopts her will need to continue this medication. We crush it and put it on top of her wet food daily. She loves it!The only reason we are seeking a new adoptee is that we have two boy cats that continually beat up on her. She used the litter box for years and years. Ever since she has been bullied, she urinates on our hardwood floors. We have tried all sorts of things, but it is a behavioral reaction to the stressors of being bullied. Vet involved. We are seeking a new family that will give her their undivided attention and care. She would do best as the only cat in the house. She is extremely healthy besides her diabetes, which is well controlled. Adoption fee to be determined, meeting the family or person that would like to adopt her. We just want a good fit for her.

Story
DOB: 12/26/2024 Meet Orlando Orlando is a handsome, shy boy with gorgeous markings who blossoms once he gets to know you. With patience and love, he’ll become your best friend—rolling around, reaching out for you, and hopping into your lap the moment you sit down. Orlando is a total snuggle bug who also loves playtime, especially chasing his favorite toy: the laser! He gets along wonderfully with his siblings but is very easygoing and loves cuddles. Orlando is bonded with his sister Ophelia, a beautiful tortie, and they must be adopted together to continue their special sibling bond. Sometimes, the shy ones are the sweetest, and Orlando is proof of that! Adoption Fee: $125 (kitten under 12 months) 📄 Fill out an application to meet Orlando and Ophelia: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat 📧 Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com About Silverton Cat Rescue Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Story
DOB 8/20/25 Hello. I am Buttons. Once I get to know you, I love snuggles. I may be tiny, but I have a big motor and have regular shifts at the biscuit factory. When I am not purring and snuggling, I am playing with my siblings, enjoying some window time, or taking a a quick cat nap. PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $125 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines. We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets. Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home. Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized. Adoption Requirements To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require: • A completed adoption application • A home visit Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
DOB 06/24/2024 Meet Olive Moon, a beautiful young adult torbie with striking green eyes and an affectionate personality. Olive was rescued by a family in Salem who unfortunately lived in a cat-free rental property, so now she’s looking for a forever home where she can truly settle in and thrive. Olive has been around children and happily lets them carry her around. She’s playful and active, often getting the zoomies as she races through the living room and darts through cat tunnels. She loves toys of all kinds—especially anything that rolls—and she enjoys chasing and playing with her feline friends. Olive gets along well with other cats and would likely enjoy having a playful companion. When she’s ready to relax, Olive enjoys bird-watching from the window and curling up on plush blankets for a cozy nap. At night, she likes to stay close to her person, sleeping at the foot or head of the bed. Sweet, easygoing, and easy to care for, Olive will shine in just about any loving home.
