Story
Meet Elphie! Meet Elphie, a gentle calico kitten with a heart as soft as her fur. While she may be a bit shy at first, Elphie has a sweet, quiet charm that blossoms once she feels safe and loved. She adores cozy spots, warm blankets, and peaceful lap naps — the perfect little companion for quiet afternoons and calm evenings. Elphie isn’t the bold explorer type, but she has a curious spirit and will watch the world with wide, thoughtful eyes. With patience and kindness, she’ll become a loyal snuggle buddy who brings warmth, comfort, and soft purrs to your home. If you're looking for a tender, loving soul to share your space and your heart, Elphie just might be your perfect match. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
She's a very calm and social indoor cat who just loves to snuggle and hang out. She's always been a sweetheart. Shy at first with other animals but adjusts well to other cats and doesn't mind dogs once she gets to know them. Giving her up is a very hard choice and I'm looking for the right person or family that's going to give her all the love and comfort she deserves.

Story
Luna is 7 years old and I have had her since she was a kitten. She is very affectionate while also being independent! If you go to the bathroom she will chase you inside and wait for you to turn the sink on so she can drink. She absolutely loves to go outside to frolic around and hunt small rodents, but also loves to sprawl out on the couch and snuggle up. Luna grew up with two cats and was always pretty indifferent towards them. She is very good with young kids and babies. I think she would do best in a home where she has access to the outdoors as that is where she seems to thrive.

Story
I unfortunately have to find a new loving home for my kitty Athena. She’s a calico about 10 months old. Super sweet and affectionate but can be shy at first. She’s great with other cats and loves to snuggle. I’m in a tough situation right now and can’t take her with me and need to find a home for her by the end of the month. She is not fixed.
