Scout is a loving boy and is an outside cat. He hangs out in our backyard and loves to be petted and laying in the sun. He has done very well around dogs and keeps to himself. Unfortunately we are moving across the country and can’t take him.

I found this little girl along the I-5 in central California at a truck stop. I took her to get checked for a microchip - none, as well as checking shelters lost and found. I don’t know if she is spayed, but will happily take care of that (and her vaccinations) for a good, appropriate home. I treated her for fleas, got some weight on her and brought her back home me. I travel with my 70+ lb Doberman (who is calm and well behaved) and she warmed to him within days. I had every intention of keeping her, as she is a sweet little cat who likes to be petted and gently brushed, with extra affection in the mornings and evenings. But when I got her home, I found she absolutely dislikes and is extremely fearful of other cats ( I have two male cats already). She hisses and hides from them, and is vey unhappy not to be the only cat. I wanted the best for her, she has been through a lot. She did well with my mom’s visiting friends and my niece’s kids (7 & 10).

I adopted Chai through the Oregon Humane Society back in April of 2026. She's very shy and has fearful behaviors and will need a owner who is very patient and don't mind letting Chai take her time to warm up. She enjoys feather and kicker toys, Churu and crunchy treats, and tummy rubs. She's a very sweet girl once she opens up. Remhoming her due to my other cats and my dog not getting along with her. They've been together for years and seem not to keen on having a new face around the house. On Chai's end she has no issues with other cats and dogs, but due to her shy nature she'll best fit in a house with no animals or with animals who you know for sure won't mind having a new pet around. For those with animals I highly stress this as she's very shy and nervous and will spend most of her days hiding from territorial animals. She's microchipped and spayed. She comes with a carrier bag and blanket included.
