Story
Freida is a 6-year-old girl originally from Nevada. After her previous owner sadly passed away, she came to us looking for a fresh start. She’s a talkative, affectionate cat who enjoys being near her people and loves foam and feather toys. She also has a funny habit of hanging out in kitchen cabinets if given the chance. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has been making progress on her weight-loss journey. Once she feels secure, her sweet and social personality really shines.

Story
I got Sadie from an ex about a year ago but she does not get along with the other cats. She is 5 years old i believe and she likes peaceful environments without kids/other animals. She is a sweet cat once she warms up to you and very food motivated.

Story
Astrid is a gentle 8-year-old calico- tortoiseshell girl looking for a stable, long-term home where she can finally relax and feel safe. She’s naturally shy at first, but once she warms up, her sweet personality really shines—she loves lounging nearby, keeping you company, and even playing fetch with her favorite hair tie. Astrid has a trauma history, so she needs to be the only pet in the home—no other cats or dogs. She thrives in a predictable environment and would do especially well with someone who works from home or is around often. She makes a wonderful quiet companion and “background buddy.” Due to ongoing financial instability and frequent moves, her current home is no longer able to provide the consistency she needs, and it’s been very stressful for her. She deserves a calm, secure space where she can truly settle in and live a happy, fulfilling life.  Sweet Astrid lives in Portland with her family and her rehoming fee is $50.  Astrid is indoor only.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 1, 2026, 2:54 pm

Story
Scout is a very good companion who loves affection and playing. She is a little skidish and takes a little while to warm up. When I first got her she was around 1.5 years and she and I did perfect living alone together. Then I adopted a stray and it took them both about a week to get along and they played together very well, I would say she will get along with other cats hers size or smaller, she is afraid of cats bigger than her. She also loves sleeping on or with you and makes sure to always greet you at the door.
