Story
Meet Hernie 🐾 Hernie has been part of our family for about 1.5 years after coming from my grandparents’ farm. He is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet. Hernie is calm, easygoing, and loves attention—pets, brushing, and scratches are his favorite. He’ll purr loudly and lean right into you. He enjoys lounging in sunny spots, curling up in his cozy beds, and loves supervised time outside rolling in the grass. He does well with dogs and has been gentle with children. Hernie likely has cerebellar hypoplasia (“wobbly cat syndrome”), so his walk is a bit wobbly and he cannot jump. Despite this, he is happy and gets around comfortably in familiar spaces. He uses the litter box perfectly (needs low entry), eats well, and thrives in a safe, loving home with easy access to everything he needs.

Story
Mori is a soft, sweet kitten with a heart full of love and a gentle curiosity about the world around her. At just two months old, she is still discovering everything for the first time, and she does so with a quiet wonder that makes every little moment feel special. She enjoys exploring, taking her time to understand new spaces and experiences, but she also has a playful side that comes out in the most charming ways. Whether she’s lightly batting at a toy or engaging in small bursts of energy, Mori brings a sense of sweetness to everything she does. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/EYNiTcya2Pw?si=2nE-ggfpE46OvkFR What truly sets her apart is her affectionate nature. She loves being pet and finds comfort in closeness, leaning into gentle attention and forming connections that feel genuine and warm. She has a calm, loving presence that makes her easy to bond with, the kind of kitten who quietly becomes part of your routine and your heart. Living with Mori will feel like having a constant source of softness and comfort in your home. She will grow into a devoted companion, offering love in the simplest and most meaningful ways. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/  https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.*

Story
We’ve had her for about ten to twelve years. She’s my childhood cat and is a little cranky with specifically male cats to the point of her not wanting to potty in her box if he’s around! My elderly parent is moving out of state and my current apartment situation will not allow us another animal outside of my ESA(and my partner’s kiddo is highly allergic) we will drive her anywhere in Oregon to help get her a forever home (or even meet in the middle somewhere)
