Story
Miss Meowcedes is a bundle of joy who loves to be petted and be around people. This beautiful diluted calico starts to purr as soon as you show her affection. She will let you grab her and would love it if she can lay next to you to spend her time with you. Miss Meowcedes is an outgoing and friendly cat but is also super playful. She will start to bond with you while playing and would love to end her session with some chin scratches. Meowcedes is a friend to the resident cats and even gets to hang out with the resident guinea pig. She is gentle with the little guinea pig and is oftentimes seen sleeping close to him. Miss Meowcedes is super playful and gets to play with the other foster cats and after playing, she grooms herself and goes drink water and take a nap. She respects the space of the resident cats as the resident cats are older than her. Meowcedes is young so she still has the energy to keep on playing but doesn’t bother the older cats. Meowcedes is a clean kitty that knows how to use the litter box so no accidents outside the litter box. She loves all kind of wet food and treats as well. When cats have that stereotype that they are cold and distant, Meowcedes brakes those steroids as she is super lovable and friendly. Can Meowcedes go cuddle with you in the upcoming holidays? 🎄 Check out a video of your potential adorable kitty here! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 5-year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $40 surcharge for transport. Story
This pretty girl was found outisde seemingly to have had kittens recently.  No owners (or kittens) could be found and she clearly was not spayed and was not chipped.   We know she must have been loved at some point because she is truly the sweetest girl!  She will follow you, curl up on the bed and quietly sit and watch you go about your day.  Pixie is about 1.5 years and will make the sweetest pet for any family.    ##1873172##

Story
DOB: September or October 2011 (guessing) Starlet was born on the other side of fence but eventually moved over to our house (neighbors did not take care of cats). Starlet is litter trained and can live inside but is mainly an outside cat. Stalet is friendly and cute on her terms but eventually warms up to you. Her love for the outdoor lifestyle makes her a perfect companion for someone with a safe and secure outdoor space. Starlet has lived with her companion Not the Mama (who is also up for adoption) but can be separated.

Story
Opossum is a super snuggly kitty who does excellent with other animals and people!! She’s currently an indoor cat, no desire to leave, she’s young, less than a year, and her medical history is unknown, however, she is super clean, no ear mites, fleas or other issues, and no excessive coughing or sneezing, so far, very healthy. She has the most accepting personality and loves just about everyone she meets! I already have a cat and a dog currently, and am not setup or able to take on any more animals longterm, or else I would keep her.

Story
Hello applicants!  Meet our adorable Angelina.  This sweet girl is just perfect!  She loves all humans, cats and gets along with dogs too.  Angelina like many other Spring Branch Rescue intakes was found on the streets of Houston.  Probably dumped or got away from her home.  When we took her in she had a litter of kittens with her.  We have been able to find homes for all except this amazing girl.  She is fully housebroken and extremely obedient.  She will do great in any living situation.  Her transition from our foster home to yours should be a very easy one.  Our dear Angelina is FIV positive.  You take a chance when rescuing a cat that they will be FIV positive.  Back in the days it was a death sentence for them as many were not educated enough on this.  THERE is nothing bad about FIV.  WE love our FIV intakes!  They live long happy lives.  They will require a little more attention to upper respiratory issues.  Kinda like someone who has allergies.  You will need to stablish a relationship with a vet and keep up with all your yearly shots as expected.  FIV cats can live with other FIV cats and Dogs.  Unfortunately, cats that have FIV cannot live with those that do not have it.  Some adopters have adopted in the past and kept up with yearly shots for their health cats.  That's up to you as an adopter.  We have to let you know what we were told by our vet.  We have found homes for so many!!!  Absolutely NOTHING bad with their adoptions.  Lived long happy lives.  Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.   If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue Transport:  We also have our own rescue van and offer transport from Houston to your area every 2 weeks.  We have delivery points in Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and for our Canadian adopters with a passport there is a stop in Bellingham WA just for you to meet us and drive/fly/or take the ferry with your new pet back to Canada!!!!  We didn't forget about you guys.  Everyone will receive an envelope with your pets required medical records to enter Canada without any issues.    Adoption Fee includes:  This adoption fee will cover everything we have spent so far in Houston in Medical expenses, Training, Food, and Microchip.  If you are adopting outside of Texas or live in Canada your new baby will come with a Health Hertificarte to Travel Accross state lines.   Our adoption fees:    Kittens & Puppies up to 1 year are $400.  Adult Cats & Dogs are $350.  Seniors (7 years & older) $250.   Any pets traveling to the Pacific Northwest will have an additional transport fee of $200.     With your adoption and transport fees we are able to help another animal in need that will join our rescue.  Rescue never sleeps and the cost of doing so keeps increasing.  We keep going thanks to our adoption fees and donations.  We are a registered 501 (C)(3) Non Profit.   If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, please go to www.springbranchrescue.org for an adoption application. ##1657175##

Story
“Meet “$h1th3ad-She’s-a-Kitten”- goes by Kitten, a delightful calico-torti Domestic Shorthair with a heartwarming story. Found abandoned on the streets of Houston, she was rescued and has since become a cherished companion. Despite her tough start, Harley is incredibly trusting, quickly forming bonds with humans who show her love and care. With a clean bill of health from her last check-up, she's a picture of feline vitality, enjoying the sun on her enclosed deck, chasing crinkle-balls, and burrowing under blankets.   Harley is an independent spirit who loves lap time and the freedom to explore her surroundings. She's a kibble enthusiast and has a particular fondness for seafood. Her purr is as loud as a coffee percolator, and she's a master at tolerating claw trims. Although she has her quirks, her affectionate nature and playful spirit make her the perfect companion for the right home. If you're looking for a loving, spirited feline friend, Harley is ready to bring joy and warmth to your home. Plus, her self-sufficient habits and love for sunny afternoons make her an easy and delightful addition to the right  household. The right person for Kitten is an individual or family who respects her as her own person and won’t drag her around or overly manhandle her. Her new human likely works from home or is retired so spends a lot of facetime with her and doesn’t have any other animals to negotiate territory with. ”   She prefers lap time, over manual snuggling. She likes to burrow so if you think she’s missing, she might be under blankets. When she purrs, she purrs ridiculously loudly and sounds much like a coffee percolator if you’ve ever heard one.  It takes 2-3 rounds to trim all of her claws but she’s tolerant for 2-3 clips at a time.   For the right family I’ll provide her with a all of the supplies I have for her, including her “Natural Balance” Limited Ingredient cat kibble and all the softfood I have for her. We have a high-end water and cat box that are both plumbed directly into water and waste that require very little effort to maintain.  The cat box (Cat Genie) needs to be cleaned once a month but otherwise it washes and dries its crystal granules itself, flushing all waste remains down a drainpipe—and a water dish that self-refills-itself with fresh cool water all throughout the day and I’d be happy to pass these along to whoever adopts her if they want it. December 3, 2023, 5:57 am
