Story
His name is tiger, he loves cans food. He loves to cuddle, hes great with male than female. He meow a lot, when you closed the door and at night when everyone is sleeping. He does great with people. But I'm not sure if he does great with other cats or dogs. He hates showers. Hates the vacuum noise and every loud noise. He's great I just can't t have him because, I'm allergy to cats. I have him because my dad gave him to me. Never knew I was allergy and asthmatic to cats and I can't have him. His a sweet boy. Story
Oliver "Ollie" "Ollivander" is a ~3 year old orange tabby male. He is fixed and a year behind on his shots I think. He is SO friendly and runs up to greet you right away and meows for cuddles. We adopted him with Sylvester and they are both bonded, and I previously had cats successfully years prior but realized quickly I was unfortunately allergic to these adorable babes. Ive tried everything I can with my allergist and they are on the LiveClear food as well, but I still gasp for breath when I try to take care of them, so Id love for them to find a home where they both can get love an cuddles and attention as much as they want. I do have small dogs as well and they are friendly. He lives in our finished basement without the dogs, but theyve been out with them a few times and are safe with them. I have not seen them with young children extensively, but our neighbors kid was able to pet Oliver and Sylvester both successfully and came up to him for love. Second pic was him younger!

Story
Buttercup was one of five kittens born in the wild. When we trapped her at four months old, she was initially feral but in the five weeks we have had her, she has come a long way. She greets us at the door, likes to be petted and she even climbs in bed to play with our toes. Right now, she does not like to be picked up. That could change with time. Buttercup needs someone who will be patient with her as she is still learning to trust people. She loves to play and would do well in a home with another young cat. We would keep her but we already have three. She is five months old and was recently spayed/shots/tested/wormed.

Story
Buddy was a stray who hung around our house. Decided to take him in because he was very thin and winter was coming. He loves to play and seems very smart. Tried to introduce him with our 1 year old puppy but it is not going so well. Our puppy is pretty hyper and believe it is scaring Buddy.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Tiger Lily came with Freedom from a rescue who had to close their doors.  We are all struggling with the weight of all the unwanted animals and the extreme cost of vet care.  We are grateful at this time we are capable of continuing the work.  Tiger Lily is getting used to the cats in the Meow Wow House but we are sure she would much prefer a home of her own :)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Hi i’m Jynx! Some nice people found me in a campground and took me in and took care of me until 2nd Chance could take me in. I’m a little shy at first, but once i start getting pets and chin scratches i melt in your hand and warm up quickly. i’m a quite gentle soul. Im pretty laid back and enjoy just lounging and getting pets. I do enjoy playing with a string wand too!!!! I don’t mind other kitties as long as my people understand slow and steady introductions. I don’t pay any mind to the dogs running around the ranch. Won’t you please let me have a forever home???Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5.
