🧡 LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! 🧡 This beautiful orange tabby girl has quite a story. She was found living among a large colony of abandoned cats behind a local restaurant. Our original plan was to trap, spay, and release her, but it didn’t take long for us to realize that she may have once been someone’s beloved pet. She will happily come up to you for pets and attention, but she is not a fan of being picked up. We’re working with her on this and giving her the time and patience she needs to learn that she is safe. ❤️ She has already been: 🐾 Spayed 💉 Rabies vaccinated 💉 Received her distemper vaccine Because of the circumstances in which we found her and the survival instincts she developed, we feel she would do best as an only cat. We are unsure how she would do with dogs. This sweet girl has survived on her own, and now she deserves something she may not have had in a very long time — a safe home, patience, love, and someone who will give her the chance to live her best life.

Link was originally rescued as a kitten with his calico sister who now lives with my mom due to territory issues. He is very friendly with humans however. Link is just about to turn 12. He loves to lay in the window or on the floor in the sunshine and will sleep unless you wake him to play. He is very low maintenance and I wish we could keep him. Unfortunately our new apartment won't allow cats.

Doctor Who (Doc) was born April 11, 2015 and we adopted him with his brother. Everything was great the first 5 years, but there has been a fight for dominance the last 6 - resulting in injuries to 1 or both cats. There are continual issues with spraying and peeing outside the litter box to mark territory, etc.Every vet visit has shown that it is not a physical issue, but behavioral, and after trying many therapy methods and medication nothing has proven effective.Doc gets along with our female cat superbly so we know it is not an every cat issue.The male cats have been separated in the house for the last 3 years. This has proven ineffective and Doc is stressed resulting in his peeing/marking.We love Doc immensely. He needs to be the only male cat in the home to have a happier life.Doc is extremely friendly once he knows you and loves belly rubs and laying in a sunny spot. He can be pretty vocal if he “thinks” his food dish is empty and if you have toast, he is your best buddy.

Echo is friendly, energetic, lived kids and attention. He’s a lap cat and loves to snuggle and give attention. He’s not afraid of strangers and loves company.

Very sweet fixed female cat for re-homing. Linda was dumped by her previous owners and we took her in. She is very loving and super sweet to people. My 4 year old can carry her around and she doesn’t care. She is fixed and up to date on rabies and distemper shots and I have the spay certificate. She is litter trained and has never had an accident. She is not really a fan of other animals though. Hence why we are trying to find her a good home. JOURNEY’S SECOND CHANCE STARTED ON A COUNTRY ROAD Journey was found by a kind lady walking down a country road, crying and crying for help. His tiny eyes were completely caked shut, and he couldn’t see—but he could certainly YELL, and yell he did! Thankfully, Journey’s cries were heard, and he found his way into the caring arms of 2nd Chance’s Board President. He was given a much-needed bath, treated for fleas, and his eyes were lovingly cared for until he could see again. ❤️ And that was just the beginning of Journey’s second adventure! He made his way to his foster home, where he is absolutely flourishing! He loves his foster siblings and enjoys plenty of cuddles with his foster mom and dad. Journey has now been neutered, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and is ready for the next chapter of his journey—finding his furever family! ✨ Journey would love a home with kitty siblings and would do fine with respectful dogs when introduced slowly and properly. Hi i’m Jynx! Some nice people found me in a campground and took me in and took care of me until 2nd Chance could take me in. I’m a little shy at first, but once i start getting pets and chin scratches i melt in your hand and warm up quickly. i’m a quite gentle soul. Im pretty laid back and enjoy just lounging and getting pets. I do enjoy playing with a string wand too!!!! I don’t mind other kitties as long as my people understand slow and steady introductions. I don’t pay any mind to the dogs running around the ranch.
