Story
Bella was born on January 31, 2024. She’s about 2 & a half! She’s incredibly sweet, playful, curious, and affectionate. She loves forehead kisses, cuddles, being picked up, and once she’s comfortable (which may take some time honestly, she’s a such a complete introvert 🥹) she’ll happily follow you around. Like most tortoiseshell cats, she’s very shy at first but opens up beautifully with patience, love & feeling of complete safety 💕. She’s extremely responsive to any type of sweet baby voice.. I’m rehoming her because I truly believe she deserves more enrichment than I can currently provide. My home has become a little too strict for a young, curious cat, and I want her to have a life where she can safely explore, play, and just be a cat. I’d love for her to go to a calm, loving home, ideally with another friendly cat or pet and/or someone who has more time to spend with her. She deserves nothing less than a forever home full of love. I’m hoping to find that home and connect soon 😊

Story
Angel is a sweet gal. Sha is very playful and kitten like. Angel has a very cute squeaky meow and will let you know when she is not getting enough attention. She loves toys of all types especially the laser pointer. She gets along with the other cats at her foster home and does not mind her foster mom's big dogs. Angel would do best in a home with older children or adults. She can be shy at first and likes a quiet home.

Story
Ladybug is a petite 1.5 year old cat who still looks like a kitten and acts like one too! She and her litter had a rough beginning and the rest of her siblings have been adopted. What she lacks in body size, she makes up ten-fold in personality. This girl is the most affectionate, lovable cat you could ask for. She never gets tired of attention and has no problem crawling right up in your face or on your chest for pets and love. She would do ok as an only cat if someone is home most of the day, otherwise she would need a kitty companion. She also lives with both large and small dogs and is fine with them as well as other cats.

Story
Courtesy post for Jayden  (443) 317-7890: Meet Cali & Sunny – A Sweet Bonded Pair of Kittens Looking for Their Forever Home! We’re searching for a loving home for our two 6-month-old kittens, Cali and Sunny. Due to some issues in our apartment, we’ve had trouble with accidents, and we believe it may be related to previous pets that lived here. It breaks our hearts to part with them, but we want what’s best for these adorable siblings. About Cali & Sunny: Cali (Calico): A playful, curious kitten who has never had any health issues. She’s full of energy and loves to explore and cuddle. Sunny (Orange Tabby): A sweet boy who was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Sunny has been on an 84-day treatment plan since August 7th, and he’s responding well. He will need his second bottle of pills soon, and while the treatment is expensive, we’re happy to help cover the cost to ensure Sunny continues to get the care he needs. Why They’re Special: Bonded Pair: Cali and Sunny are incredibly close, always playing and snuggling together. We’re looking for a home where they can stay together and continue their special bond. Friendly and Social: Both kittens are loving, affectionate, and will bring joy to any home. Healthy & Happy: While Sunny is in treatment, we’ve been closely monitoring his progress and will support his ongoing care as he completes the program. If you’re looking for a pair of adorable, loving kittens to welcome into your home, Cali and Sunny are ready to fill your life with happiness. They just need a chance in a home where they can thrive together. Please reach out if you’re interested in giving these two a forever home! Contact Jayden at  (443) 317-7890    ***Disclaimer*** Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms at the inn to admit every dog that needs a furever home. But, we still want to help those dogs (and cats) on their journey! By courtesy posting, AAHA is offering our website/network as an additional resource to help an owner or shelter gain additional exposure for the dog they are trying to place. AAHA has not met nor evaluated the dog (or cat) we are courtesy posting. AAHA makes no representation about courtesy posted pets including the health and temperament and accepts no liability in this exchange. Arrangements for adoptions are made between the caretaker of the pet and the potential adopter. March 11, 2026, 11:13 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Meet Laurel.  This sweet, beautiful Torti, with unique patches of white, is a little over 6 years old.  She will add her own personality to your home. Laurel wants to be loved, but needs a gentle touch.  A quiet forever home would make her life complete. Laurel had been fully vetted and tested negative for Feleuk/FIV.  She is being fostered in the Columbia,  Md. area. For more information contact rorrfeline@gmail.com. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 8:28 pm

Morticia is in a foster home!A note from her foster:Morticia is working hard on her social skills! She is not yet a snuggly kitten, but she is very treat motivated, and with some time, has allowed us to pick her up and handle without hissing and hiding. She appreciates it when people respect her boundaries. She enjoys to sit in the room with you and keep you company, she will sit on the couch or the bed with you, and is really starting to learn to like gentle pets. She is a very playful kitten and loves to chase the red dot. She is an excellent stink bug hunter and will alert you if there`s something in your house that does not belong. Treats are also one of her favorite things. When a treat is offered she will come close, but still does not want you to touch her. She gets a long well with the other kittens and the older cats in the house. She does not mind the dogs. She would be a great companion or playmate for a more loveable kitten. Probably not a good fit for younger children. Please email hsccfosterteam@gmail.com to be put in touch with her foster family!

Story
Kitkat is in a foster home!A note from her foster:Kitkat is a shy but sweet girl who has taken a while to come out of her shell, but every day seems more secure. She is doing well with our calm and laid back household, and would likely do best going to a more quiet home where she can be the princess. We aren`t really sure how she does with other animals, but she does just fine on her own. She has been a little fearful of men, but is making progress with that. She likely would do best in a home with older children or no children. She needs a family that respects her boundaries, and lets her settle in and shine in her own time. Please email hsccfosterteam@gmail.com to be put in touch with her foster family!
