Tabby kittens & cats in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

We inherited her a year or two ago and due to change in living situation we are trying to rehome her to a good home that can provide her more attention than our situation allows. We took her in temporarily, and it’s proven to be harder than expected to find someone willing to take her permanently and provide a good home. We are just trying to do what’s best - a little about her: She is about 7 years old, spayed, and is a tabby cat. She’s on the chunky side but we recently took her to the vet and she is healthy otherwise! Up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines. She has been an indoor cat only and hasn’t been around other pets, but with a proper introduction, I’m sure she would adapt. She is friendly but is timid when meeting new people so may hide when visitors are around until she becomes familiar with new people. I’m happy to answer any other questions that I know the answers to or provide additional information as needed.

Oreo is a 2 year old tabby cat. She is good with other cats and very friendly. She is shy at first when meeting new people.

She and her brother, Links, were found on a rainy night abandoned on a dirt road in rural Alabama, but this little kitten has proven to be a resilient and joyful little spirit. Butters is fast, playful, and full of fun. She loves climbing the cat tree, scratching on her scratch pad, and chasing toys during playtime. When she’s done exploring, she’s happy to be picked up and will reward you with sweet, content purrs. This playful girl is litter box trained and ready to find a loving forever home where she can continue to play, explore, and be adored. Monkey is a very down to earth cat. He LOVES attention. Doesn't mind being around kids or dogs. He can get accumulated to new spaces very quickly. Unsure about how he reacts around other cats given he is my only one. Unfortunately I am moving and unable to take him along.

Willow found me through the cat distribution system about 3 years ago. She has been my best friend since! She loves to give me hugs and sleep on my chest, and it breaks my heart to have to rehome her. About 6 months ago I moved in with my fiance and his two cats and Willow has been miserable since. Currently with our living situation she is able to have her own space but unfortunately we will be moving and that will no longer be an option. Willow needs to be in a home with no other pets or small children. She has never been around small children or dogs. Willow is a very loving girl but will definitely take awhile to adjust to a new home and family. Someone with a big heart and is patient with my anxious girl is who I’m hoping to find!

Meet Thea!Sometimes, a cat simply shows up where she’s not supposed to be - and somehow finds her way to the people who can help her. That’s what happened to Thea.This beautiful one-year-old girl wandered into a yard where two big dogs lived. Thea didn’t seem particularly bothered by them, but the homeowners were understandably worried that their dogs might hurt her. They brought her to us for safekeeping, hoping we could find her family.Unfortunately, no one ever came looking for Thea.We can’t imagine why, because it’s obvious that this lovely girl has been around people before. Thea is friendly, affectionate, and loves attention. She’s the kind of cat who makes you wonder how anyone could have let her get lost in the first place.And there’s something wonderful about adopting an adult cat like Thea. No kitten antics, no tiny paws getting into everything, and no guessing what her personality will be like. What you see is what you get - a beautiful, loving girl who is ready to settle into a home and give her people plenty of affection.Someone is going to get a really good one when they adopt Thea. We hope that person finds her soon!

My estimated birthday is February 18, 2020, and while I may be past the kitten stage, I bring the perfect blend of mellow affection and youthful playfulness. I’m the kind of cat who will make you feel like the center of my world. I’ll rub against your legs, gently bump my head into your hands, and curl up close just to be near you. When I’m especially happy, I’ll flop onto my side and roll over, inviting you to give me soft pets and scratch behind my ears. My love language? Gentle affection and quiet companionship Don’t let my calm demeanor fool you—I’ve got a playful side that lights up when a toy mouse appears. Give me a little space and a favorite toy, and I’ll come alive, batting, pouncing, and carrying it around like a proud hunter showing off her prize. I may be graceful, but I know how to have a good time! I do have a bit of a diva streak—if I get overstimulated, I might let you know with a swish of my tail or a sassy little swat. Once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal and loving companion. Now let’s talk about something important: I am FELV+. Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that affects cats’ immune systems. It is spread only between cats (not to people or other types of animals) through close contact like grooming, sharing bowls, or bite wounds. Because FeLV can weaken the immune system over time, FeLV+ kitties may be more prone to infections and need a little extra care. What does that mean for me? I should live indoors to stay safe and healthy. I should live with other FeLV+ cats or be the only cat in the home. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups to monitor my health. He is a little more reserved than his sister, but once comfortable, his sweet personality shines bright. He’s gentle, affectionate, and loves being petted. In fact, his purr motor seems to have a pretty easy on/off switch - it’s usually ON! He’s playful and curious, enjoys having little conversations, and especially loves playing with his sister Prada. Compared to her busy little personality, Armani is a bit more mellow and perfectly happy to mix kitten fun with plenty of cuddle time.
