Tabby kittens & cats in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

We inherited her a year or two ago and due to change in living situation we are trying to rehome her to a good home that can provide her more attention than our situation allows. We took her in temporarily, and it’s proven to be harder than expected to find someone willing to take her permanently and provide a good home. We are just trying to do what’s best - a little about her: She is about 7 years old, spayed, and is a tabby cat. She’s on the chunky side but we recently took her to the vet and she is healthy otherwise! Up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines. She has been an indoor cat only and hasn’t been around other pets, but with a proper introduction, I’m sure she would adapt. She is friendly but is timid when meeting new people so may hide when visitors are around until she becomes familiar with new people. I’m happy to answer any other questions that I know the answers to or provide additional information as needed.

She and her brother, Links, were found on a rainy night abandoned on a dirt road in rural Alabama, but this little kitten has proven to be a resilient and joyful little spirit. Butters is fast, playful, and full of fun. She loves climbing the cat tree, scratching on her scratch pad, and chasing toys during playtime. When she’s done exploring, she’s happy to be picked up and will reward you with sweet, content purrs. This playful girl is litter box trained and ready to find a loving forever home where she can continue to play, explore, and be adored. Eddie and Baby are a sweet bonded pair that we hope that we can find a home together these two cats share a special bond and they bring out the best in each other. Oscar is a handsome young boy is full of love enjoys spending time with his feline friends and is ready to find a forever family Oscar's journey hasn't always been easy. He came to us from a hoarding situation. And was at risk of euphemism through no fault of his own. We knew he deserved a chance at a better life so we opened our Rescue up to him. Since then, he has shown us what a wonderful companion he could be for some wonderful family or a single person. She has a gentle soul and has been patiently waiting to be noticed, hoping someone will see her for who she is. She was surrendered through no fault of her own when her owner no longer wanted to care for her. While we don’t know much about her past, we do know that Baby Girl is sweet, gentle, and full of love. She enjoys being petted, resting in warm sunny spots and simply being near the people she trusts. She can become overstimulated and would do best as the only cat in a calm, peaceful home. She is currently overweight and the rescue is helping her get healthier. She was declawed at some point in her life, making a safe, gentle environment especially important for her.
