Story
Kiki is the orange tabby. She is 6 years old. She is very sweet, but timid. She loves chicken. She is good with other cats however she would be fine alone too so she can get all of the attention. She does have a breathing issue but has been to the vet and they said she is fine as long as she is eating and playing. Her play has decreased as she has gotten older but she still loves to chase the laser toy! Loves to sleep with you or somewhere warm. Meadow is almost 3 she is absolutely the sweetest cat. Loves to eat her cat food and is a bit in the heavy side but she loves to play with toys and the laser as well. She gets the similes sometimes and will run around the house. She is very loving loves to sit with you, groom you and listens very well. I am sad to depart from my fur babies but I have had financial difficulties and it has become hard to buy the supplies they need. A loving attentive home and family would be the best outcome for them. They can be together or adopted separately

Story
I'm reaching out on behalf of a friend, who is currently in hospice care and, sadly, can no longer care for her beloved cat Eddie. He's an elderly, dapper gentleman- he's still playful and will happily swat a wand toy. He is estimated to be around 18 years old. Eddie is looking for a peaceful and caring home where he has a comfy spot next to his human. Eddie is a bit selective around humans and protective of his personal space. The introduction process will need to be slow, but with patience you'll be able to give him some pets in no time. He'll give you signs to let you know if his patience is wearing thin. I am uncertain how he'd be around other pets. He will need a kids-free household. If you have any space for Eddie, I'd like to connect. More details and information upon request. Thank you for your consideration.

Story
These brothers came to us January 2021. Born around Thanksgiving 2020. Great therapy pets. They love to play with each other. Cheeto is very friendly with strangers and loves belly rubs. Butter is also social and likes to sit on your chest. They were raised with three kids and love the attention! They are litter trained and for the past two months have been trained to be indoor/outdoor cats. As long as they know where the food bowl is they are good. They would be a perfect fit for a family with kids or a single adult who wants two of the coolest cats you’ll ever meet.

Story
Millie was originally found as a stray outside of a bar by a former co-worker of mine. It was the company Christmas party and the bar said that she had been coming around regularly and they would feed her. She took her home and after a year asked if I would like a cat after losing our 11 year old kitty. I have had Millie for 2 years and she is so sweet. She was already spayed when she was found and based on the tattoo on her belly our vet said it was probably from a spay and release program that helped with the cat population down town. She moved here with me from Fayetteville, NC to Maryland in December of 2024. At the time I did not have small children at home but now that I do, she has been aggressive towards them. It was just Millie and I for the longest and I think she is over stimulated by the little ones. They have become scared of her and my fiance has asked me to re-home her. She is very playful, chatty, loves to be on your lap and make biscuits.

Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SHY BEAUTY LOOKING FOR A PEACEFUL HOME Meow! My name is Minna, and my estimated date of birth is April 8, 2024. I’m a quiet, independent girl who prefers to observe the world from a distance. I’m naturally aloof and a bit shy with new people, but I have a gentle spirit and a sensitive heart. I enjoy relaxing in a cozy hammock and am very food-motivated—that’s the key to earning my trust! I’ll do best in a calm, low-stress home with an experienced adopter who understands that I’ll need time, space, and patience to come out of my shell. I’m not a cuddly or clingy cat, but I form quiet bonds in my own way. I get along with other calm cats and could live with respectful older children. I haven’t had experience with dogs. I may prefer to be the only pet in a quiet household where I can feel safe and secure. If you’re someone who appreciates the quiet beauty of an independent soul, I’d love to meet you. Stop by the Kitty Corner and ask for Minna Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue TENDERHEARTED COMPANION WITH A SPIRIT OF GRACE Meow! I’m Raelynn, born March 6, 2022, a gentle soul with a heart as warm as a sunny afternoon. During my time in foster care, I blossomed surrounded by the joyful chaos of young children, dogs of all sizes, and fellow feline friends. I embraced every new face with calm curiosity and unwavering sweetness, proving myself to be a wonderfully adaptable and loving companion. The moment you open the door, I’ll be right there, eager for your attention, softly weaving between your legs and serenading you with my constant, comforting purrs. That is, if I'm not relaxing on my favorite windowsill or cat tree. I thrive on affection and connection, savoring every pet and gentle scratch as if it were a precious gift. Playtime brings out my spirited side—I delight in chasing toys and frolicking alongside other kitties, and I would happily welcome a playful feline friend to share my new home with. My past includes a health journey through bladder stones and surgery, after which I enjoyed a special urinary diet. Now back on a regular diet and feeling vibrant, I am a testament to resilience and hope. While my future family will want to keep a watchful eye on my health, I promise my cheerful, easygoing nature will bring endless joy. If you seek a serene and steadfast companion whose gentle presence fills the room with love and calm, come meet me at Kitty Corner. I’m ready to fill your home—and heart—with warmth and affection. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue PLAYFUL AND CURIOUS Meow! My name is Honeysuckle, and my estimated date of birth is October 1, 2024. I’m a spunky, curious little explorer with a flair for fun and a mind of my own. With a confident spirit and a touch of sass, I bring both energy and intrigue wherever I go.' I love to play—feather wands are my favorite, and my robot chaser toy keeps me endlessly entertained. I can spend hours stalking, pouncing, and showing off my acrobatic moves. I’m both brave and cautious, always testing the waters before leaping in—but once I do, I go all in! Though I’m gentle by nature, I’m also independent and strong-willed. I’m not the type to beg for attention, but I will reward patience with trust and affection once a bond is formed. Because of my confident personality, I would thrive in a home where my humans are willing to continue gentle socialization and respect my need for space as I adjust and grow. I prefer to be the queen of my castle, so I’d do best as the only cat or in a home with very laid-back, submissive feline companions. I’m shy but not fearful around dogs—given a little time and understanding, I can learn to coexist peacefully. I haven’t had experience with children, so I would likely do best in a calm, adult household or one with older, respectful kids. Currently, I’m in a foster home where I’m gaining confidence and learning how wonderful human companionship can be. If you're looking for a bold, playful, and fiercely unique kitten who will keep you entertained and intrigued, I just might be the one for you. Meetings can be easily arranged—come see if I’m the perfect fit for your home and heart Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.
