Tabby kittens & cats in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

We inherited her a year or two ago and due to change in living situation we are trying to rehome her to a good home that can provide her more attention than our situation allows. We took her in temporarily, and it’s proven to be harder than expected to find someone willing to take her permanently and provide a good home. We are just trying to do what’s best - a little about her: She is about 7 years old, spayed, and is a tabby cat. She’s on the chunky side but we recently took her to the vet and she is healthy otherwise! Up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines. She has been an indoor cat only and hasn’t been around other pets, but with a proper introduction, I’m sure she would adapt. She is friendly but is timid when meeting new people so may hide when visitors are around until she becomes familiar with new people. I’m happy to answer any other questions that I know the answers to or provide additional information as needed.

Harry is 6 years old. I got him from Better Days when he was a kitten. He loves to play and is an escape artist.

Snickers is a 5 year old girl she is extremely friendly. She loves to be snuggled like a baby.

She and her brother, Links, were found on a rainy night abandoned on a dirt road in rural Alabama, but this little kitten has proven to be a resilient and joyful little spirit. Butters is fast, playful, and full of fun. She loves climbing the cat tree, scratching on her scratch pad, and chasing toys during playtime. When she’s done exploring, she’s happy to be picked up and will reward you with sweet, content purrs. This playful girl is litter box trained and ready to find a loving forever home where she can continue to play, explore, and be adored. Oscar is a handsome young boy is full of love enjoys spending time with his feline friends and is ready to find a forever family Oscar's journey hasn't always been easy. He came to us from a hoarding situation. And was at risk of euphemism through no fault of his own. We knew he deserved a chance at a better life so we opened our Rescue up to him. My name is Stormy, and I’m a gorgeous, soft-furred sweetheart with a spirited streak and a heart full of love. My estimated birthday is February 18, 2020, and while I may be past the kitten stage, I bring the perfect blend of mellow affection and youthful playfulness. I’m the kind of cat who will make you feel like the center of my world. I’ll rub against your legs, gently bump my head into your hands, and curl up close just to be near you. When I’m especially happy, I’ll flop onto my side and roll over, inviting you to give me soft pets and scratch behind my ears. My love language? Gentle affection and quiet companionship Don’t let my calm demeanor fool you—I’ve got a playful side that lights up when a toy mouse appears. Give me a little space and a favorite toy, and I’ll come alive, batting, pouncing, and carrying it around like a proud hunter showing off her prize. Because FeLV can weaken the immune system over time, FeLV+ kitties may be more prone to infections and need a little extra care. What does that mean for me? I should live indoors to stay safe and healthy. I should live with other FeLV+ cats or be the only cat in the home. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups to monitor my health. This beautiful dilute calico came to the rescue after being trapped and discovered to have a microchip. Whatever her story before arriving here, a few things are clear: Abra has been through a lot of change in a very short time, the people she trusted failed her numerous times, and now she is left trying to figure out who she can trust. Beneath her uncertainty is a sweet girl who enjoys pets and wants love and the chance to finally feel safe. But trust doesn’t come easily to Abra. When she feels overwhelmed, she may become defensive, so she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that she can’t be rushed. She needs time, gentle reassurance, and the freedom to build a bond at her own pace. Abra must be an only pet in an adult only home with no children. Most importantly, she needs someone able to give her the patience and stability she needs to settle in. Abra is only 3 years old, yet she’s already had to endure so much uncertainty.
