Story
Paris came into the rescue as a kitten and was very unsure of people for many months. She has come out of her shell and has become the most affectionate and loving cat! She follows her foster mom around and always wants attention. She thinks sleeping in the bed with her foster parents is the best thing ever! She is playful, loves to look out windows, and if course, enjoys all the attention she can get. She would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time. She gets along great with other cats and also has no problems with the big or small dogs at her foster home.

Story
This lovely five and a half year old feline is a mostly indoor cat who enjoys the occasional patio sunbath. She's affectionate and will happily curl up on your lap, especially if you enjoy a chat-she's very vocal and not shy about letting you know what she wants! While she loves the company of adults, she prefers a quieter home without small children. She may be a bit shy around strangers at first, but once she warms up, her playful and loving personality shines through.

Story
Valkyrie is a gorgeous, 2-year-old female calico cat that is looking for her full-time lap to sit on. Val has been raised in a home in the south Texas area where unfortunately, her owner can no longer keep her. She has been raised since a kitten, therefore she is very outgoing. As you can see from the video, she absolutely loves her pets and will sit there for as long as you pet her, which can be all day. Val has been raised around other cats, dogs and older children. She would do wonderfully with young children though, she’s just that friendly. One of Val’s quirks is that she LOVES to talk to you and will talk loudly to you. She will tell you all about her night, her day, the birds outside and how fast the grass grew that day. She is loud, proud and will keep you laughing. Val is such a good girl and will adjust to most households just fine. She is a very relaxed cat that just loves to love. A cat tree, your hand, and a couch are all her heart desires (as well as food!) Valkyrie is fixed, current on vaccinations, current on flea prevention, and microchipped. Story
Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopts out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in the foster home for about 5 weeks and has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to picture with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a more calm cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. She likes to do what she wants, when she wants, which is typical for a calico. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. To apply to adopt please fill out an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Like all Furever Home cats, Jack is FeLV positive. If you need more information about FeLV, feel free to reach out to us. Meet Jack! This amazing mini-panther is such a sweetheart, and the perfect age. He’s young enough to still love his toys, but old enough so he won’t pull your curtains down and destroy your world. He’s a sweet & cuddly guy who adapts well. He’s very vocal and will have full out conversations with you. He’ll also remind you when you’re late with dinner. He has perfect cat etiquette and uses his litter box. His favorite hobbies include bathing in sunbeams, laying across your shoulders while binging on the Nature Channel, snuggling you in bed and head butting. He may be slightly shy at first, but he warms up quickly. If you have questions about Jack, please email FureverHomeMD@gmail.com or message us on FB through https://www.facebook.com/FureverHomeMDOctober 25, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
Meet Poppy! She just turned 1 year old in June and she's very bonded with her brother, Buddy. Not willing to separate the pair. We rescued them last October and have been unsuccessful in battling allergies. Poppy is reserved around new people, but loves cuddles on her schedule. She's consistent with litter box and has been strictly indoors. She's fine with both a traditional litterbox and an automatic cleaning litter box. We had her spayed last November, and she won't be due for any booster shots until October. Hoping we can find her a home that can give her cuddles without allergic reactions.

Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy is bonded with his sister, Poppy, and we won't separate. We rescued them last October and they turned 1 in June. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful at keeping allergies at bay, and it's time to find them a home where they can cuddle without causing discomfort. Buddy was neutered in November and is up to date on shots, due for boosters in October. He is a super cuddler and seeks out your lap as soon as you sit down. He is cautious around strangers, but warms up within a day. He's fully litterbox trained with both automatic and regular litter boxes. Were hoping to find him and Poppy a home that offers lots of cuddles.
