Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. Nowadays, she's a staple at her foster mom’s work-from-home setup, content to snuggle on a lap or sprawl across a desk, always in the heart of the action. Tammy is not just sweet and cuddly, but she's also quite the conversationalist! She'll greet you each morning with chirps and chatters, and she's not shy about asking for some extra attention. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs, but she’s also perfectly happy keeping her humans entertained all on her own. Tammy's loving nature and beautiful appearance make her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a furry friend who's as sociable as she is beautiful. Born 4/10/2023 Tammy was found at Martin House Brewery with her brother as a baby. A bartender at the brewery rescued them both and took them home for socialization. The rescuer had both cats and a dog and Tammy got along with them all wonderfully. Nebula is a great kitty, very friendly, but loves to be outside most of the time. She does come inside during storms or extreme heat or cold. She uses the restroom outside, but had a litter box when she was younger.

Maui was first rescued and found behind a grocery store as a kitten in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2020. My fiance and I adopted him from a local shelter before we moved to Texas with him. Maui LOVES attention. He is always rolling on his back to get tummy rubs and loves to get petted. He will lay on top of your legs when you fall asleep and stay there all night if you don't move him. His love language is definitely physical touch as he is will always find an opportunity to rub against your legs or sit as close as possible next to you on the couch. He has a big personality and is a happy, healthy cat. He will get the zoomies if upset which only happens if you don't feed him as quickly as he'd like. He is great with dogs and very playful but will get scared if they bark too loud.
