Story
Meet Small. When we got her in 2019, she was so tiny, so that's what we named her! (Clever, I know). She is house trained, good with little kids, and lives with another adult cat. However, I don't know how she would do with a new adult cat - with a proper introduction and experienced owner she would probably do just fine! She is outgoing and loves to cuddle and would make a great friend for someone who can give her the attention she needs. Unfortunately we just don't have the time and since moving into a smaller house and expecting baby #2, the limited space is getting frustrating for both her and my family. Message me and come meet her today!

Story
Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. As she is not yet confident around people, she would do best in a calm home with experienced cat owners. For more information, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com

Super sweet cat she likes to cuddle and is very friendly. Would be best if she is adopted with her sister who she is bonded with. Looking to find both a forever home with someone who will give them all the attention they need. They are super playful and love each other very much, we just can’t keep them due to having a baby.

Story
This is Willa! She is sweet as can be, loves to cuddle, and is an all around great cat. She’s never been around dogs. She’s excellent with our small children. We think she’s about 5-10 years old. She showed up on our porch two years ago. We brought her in. She took a long time to acclimate to our other cat, so we put her up for adoption then. Her and our other cat decided to get along so we took the post down. He passed a few months back and I think Willa is lonely, but we cannot get another cat at this time.

Story
Nermal and her siblings were born in our backyard in June of 2023. We took the kittens into our home to help socialize them and prepare them for adoption shortly after they were weaned. We have loved seeing them grow and develop their personalities over the past 2 years and we are excited to have them start their new chapters in their forever homes! Nermal is a small grey cat that has proven herself to be the most clever and curious of the litter. She is fascinated by the sounds and lights from the dishwasher, loves to watch the outside world from an open window, and keeps many insects out of our home. She never backs down from playfully wrestling with her siblings and has distinguished herself as a leader in the pack. She excitedly waits by the door when we separate our older cat to feed him a special diet and meows until he is back with the pack. She does this because she loves him, but also to eat his leftovers. All adoption fees will be donated to the SPCA of Dallas.

ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Carmel has the cutest freckles on her nose which makes her dilute calico markings even more beautiful! She is sweet and friendly so it’s hard to believe someone left her behind. She took up residence outside a rescue friends sons apartment but after lots of searching for an owner it was determined she was homeless. Lucky for her she picked an apartment door where the resident loved kitties so she is enjoying being spoiled until she can find a new forever home!
