Maui was first rescued and found behind a grocery store as a kitten in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2020. My fiance and I adopted him from a local shelter before we moved to Texas with him. Maui LOVES attention. He is always rolling on his back to get tummy rubs and loves to get petted. He will lay on top of your legs when you fall asleep and stay there all night if you don't move him. His love language is definitely physical touch as he is will always find an opportunity to rub against your legs or sit as close as possible next to you on the couch. He has a big personality and is a happy, healthy cat. He will get the zoomies if upset which only happens if you don't feed him as quickly as he'd like. He is great with dogs and very playful but will get scared if they bark too loud.

Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. Despite their rough beginning, all the kittens are sweet and playful and are enjoying life in their foster home. Daphne is a very pretty cat and knows it. She likes to be looked at, but not always touched. She does love a good brushing on her own time though. She is 6 years old and loves to sit in windows and watch birds fly around outside, but doesn't want to go outside lest she get her paws dirty. She has been raised with a littermate, but over the past year has gotten extremely aggressive towards her. We had a baby and my wife got what was supposed to be a small dog that turned into 65lbs of crazy and it upset the balance in the house. She has been extremely gentle and almost affectionate towards the baby, but hates the dog. She's been very fearful and skittish around him, and has started fighting and hissing at our other cat for simply being near her - this was not the case before the dog. We are not asking for any fee for her and could include a bag of food, litter, and a number of her favorite toys. We just want to get her in a home she'll be happy in.

The remainder of the litter were discovered in a storm drain and reunited. Lola is a little shy until she gets to know you. She is very sweet, likes to be petted. She roams free among a bunch of fosters in a climate-controlled garage and gets along pretty well with them all. She is pretty smart. At feeding time, she jumps into an empty cage and waits her turn, meowing loudly to be next. She wants attention badly, and jumps up in her foster's lap any chance she gets. You can pet and pet, and she doesn’t want to leave. Born 1/27/2018 Lola was the mother of one kitten when found, but she didn’t like him. On the way to being brought to Meowtown, she escaped from the car, but was recaptured the next day. When she was spayed, it was discovered that in that short amount of time, she had gotten pregnant.
