Gabby is a healthy cat but is a little skittish because of her previous owner. I was personally able to build a relationship with her and she is sweet just not very trusting. I found her abandoned in the house I moved into and I think the scars are that experience means she'll never be better until she's someplace else. Overall, behaviorally, she's not dangerous or hard to handle I really just think she needs someplace else to be.

Nermal and her siblings were born in our backyard in June of 2023. We took the kittens into our home to help socialize them and prepare them for adoption shortly after they were weaned. We have loved seeing them grow and develop their personalities over the past 2 years and we are excited to have them start their new chapters in their forever homes! Nermal is a small grey cat that has proven herself to be the most clever and curious of the litter. She is fascinated by the sounds and lights from the dishwasher, loves to watch the outside world from an open window, and keeps many insects out of our home. She never backs down from playfully wrestling with her siblings and has distinguished herself as a leader in the pack. She excitedly waits by the door when we separate our older cat to feed him a special diet and meows until he is back with the pack. She does this because she loves him, but also to eat his leftovers. All adoption fees will be donated to the SPCA of Dallas.

Meet Ellie, our calico queen with a heart as colorful as her coat. This young beauty came to us pregnant and, after a challenging delivery, brought three precious kittens into the world. She was the most patient, loving mama, and now that her babies have all been adopted, it’s Ellie’s time to shine. Ellie is a total sweetheart who thrives on human affection. She’s the type of cat who will greet you with gentle meows, rub up against your feet like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to her, and settle in for snuggles as if she’s been yours forever. Her favorite pastimes? Drinking from her cat fountain, following you around for attention, and lounging like royalty. (Her foster calls her Cinder-Ellie, because she truly is the princess of the house.) She gets along fine with other pets, showing no reactivity to cats or dogs through a baby gate. She’s not overly playful—she’ll bat at a toy here and there—but she’s most content napping, soaking in the calm, and being near her people. Ellie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and currently living the good life in a foster home in Texas while she waits for her forever throne. Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. Delilah is a sweetheart. She was found when her mom was trapped after having Delilah's litter. Every one of her siblings was adopted by someone in the neighborhood, except Delilah! She's been living in foster care for her entire life and is still patiently waiting for her home. Delilah is a shy and timid kitty. Though she loves to play (especially with her foster siblings) she is still very cautious and likes to let others go first. She has a very nurturing heart and will often mother the younger kittens and help them become comfortable moving around the house.
